Warning: Blood, Lots of blood.

Five minutes later people were blindfolded and names were put in a hat. Dog the dog and Smile Dog were put in the closet. Seven minutes later, they trotted out and sat next to each other. It was now Dog's responsibility to draw the names. Before that, it was EJ.

She drew Masky and licked his hand. He stood up and hand-felt his way to the closet and waited. She got the next piece of paper, dropped it then proceeded to read it. She walked over to Ben and bumped him. He did the same as Masky and Dog shut the door. This process continued including putting Hoodie and Beans together and Jeff and Emo in there as well. Everyone assumed that they sat on opposite sides of the closet for all seven minutes. Dog the dog knew the last two people even though they didn't know each other.

They got in the closet. Toby slipped his blindfold up to see Clockwork. Millions of thoughts flashed through his brain, but it landed on one after what felt like three years. It was almost like those short films where the brain and the heart are fighting and the outcome is horrible. His body was thrust forward by an invisible force and he kissed her. His brain screamed no, but his heart wouldn't let him stop. He quit thinking.

All sense of life was gone as she pulled her blindfold down. He pulled out one of his hatchets and threw it. He made a strange noise between a scream and a duck's quack. Clockwork died of laughter whilst holding her tense position. The hatchet had scraped her right arm and was now bleeding. Toby's eyes had focused on the blood he had drawn. He burst through the closet faster than light and leaped outside. He ran for hours not stopping, not even for water. Once he had halted he looked around to find hadn't even gone four miles. He slid down and cried. He looked at his remaining hatchet with desperation and grabbed it.

That night he did something with his hatchet he hadn't done since he'd met Clockwork one whole month ago. He had made wounds two skin layers deep in his right arm so he would suffer like Clockwork. He suddenly fainted from blood-loss.

Toby lay on the sidewalk for hours until Clockwork caught up. He had his goggles in one hand and his hatchet in the other, laying in a pool of blood. She pulled her phone out. She texted Masky to send Hoodie. When Hoodie got there he taped up Toby's arm with band-aids and told Clockwork "You wanna carry him or should I?" Clockwork thought for a moment. The first person to show her real kindness her whole life could die if she didn't take him. "Give him now," She said. He was extremely heavy, but she endured it. The only thing keeping her going was the thought of Toby dying. Two hours later, Clockwork saw the blinding lights of the ER. "It's OK Toby," she whispered. "You'll make it."

Meanwhile...

As Hoodie walked back to the hotel he heard a rustling from the alleyway beside him. His head snapped around trying to find the exact source of the noise. Before he could do anything a girl with a giant waffle-pattern on her face launched out of the shadows shrieking. "I found you!" Hoodie spun around and took off like a missile. Hoodie finally made it back to the hotel, panting as though he had run for hours. He walked through the door to see everyone circling a girl on the floor. She was taped down and presumably sedated. She was gently breathing although Hoodie knew in five minutes that would be a different story. He sat down to see Emo cleaning his mace. EJ had a dazed look on his face as if he were remembering something. He abruptly said; "Good luck, your gonna need it," and swung his mace at the girl. "Bye, Bye Lizzy," She woke up for a split second, cried out in pain, then fell limp back in her sleeping position. This time, Hoodie thought, she isn't sleeping.

Clockwork had managed to lie her way into a free exam. She watched as they patched him up. They said he would be fine, although he had lost lots of blood. She sat by his bed and stared down at him. Wake up, she willed him. "I need you," she whispered. Toby stirred then sat up. He made the same noise he made earlier and looked at Clockwork. She wiped the tears from her eyes and embraced him. After the shock had passed he returned her embrace. "I was trying to tell you, " Clockwork started blushing. "I pushed you in to kiss me."

She stared at Toby.

"...?"

Not thirty seconds after the shock had ended, it came back ten times worse.

"W-what?!?"
