Your entire body shakes with nervousness when Jimin opens the door and greets you with a warm smile, his black turtleneck and leather jacket not bringing any comfort to your quickened pulse.

Turning your body around you reaxh your hands out and tenderly intertwine your fingers with his, the air in the room so thick you could slice it with a plastic knife.

"I understand that. Jungkook suggested I wear this jacket, it isn't warm at all."

You both let out a tender laugh and feel a bit of relief flood your senses, Jimin's very presence bringing you comfort.

You notice his ears and entire face flush pink when he lowers his head, his voice quivering when he speaks.

You feel taken aback as you stare at Jimin in shock, his demeanor soon shifting from nervousness to uncomfortable.

You look up at Jimin's face and smile again as you nod, carefully lacing your arm with his and placing your hand on his bicep, his entire face now a deeper shade of red.

Your chest blooms with happiness at his sweet words, both of you entering the ramen shop at the same time.

"Hey look, you made it here in one piece! We should walk like this a lot more."

"I like holding your hands though Y/N."

Your entire face breaks out in a red blush as you look over at Jimin, your hand squeezing his bicep in response.

"I..I...I Um...I like holding your hands too.."

You lean in across the table and smile while looking into Jimin's distant eyes, the warm brown orbs swirling with unknown emotion.

"Oh...so then we can be lost together then."

You giggle softly and reach out while placing your hand on top of Jimin's, your thumb tracing over his knuckles.

"Yep. We can both be completely lost."

Why can't I allow this fear to subside.

Why does my past have to consistently give me a reason to live in fear, to live in such a way where I can't exist in fear someone will take it away from me?
