At that moment the TV flicked on grabbing a hold of everyone's attention. Curiosity was what they were mainly feeling as DL came to view, running slightly as he looked worst for wear. Surrounding him were tall walls that seemed to stretch on forever, they looked as if they were made of stone, green creepers crawling up some of them.

Slowly DL halted, leaning over as he tried to get his breath back. Sweat trickled down his forehead and clutched on the fibers of his clothes that were now in tatters and shreds, blood and various of wounds stained his skin mixing in with the sweat which made them sting. He leaned against the wall, dropping down to the floor. He was exhausted, he's been in this torture maze for the last few days and hasn't had the chance to sleep properly, nor has he seen Bree and her flaming hair. If they weren't separated then perhaps they would have already made out of this hellhole.

"What's going on over there?" Queried Zero, leaning into the TV screen, "what's happening?"

"Probably nothing fun." Murmured Dina, her heart twisted in anxiety for what was to happen to her friend.

Soon fierce growls broke the silence that had encased DL. His head shot up and he looked behind him in fear. Ever since he got into this maze he had grown a fear of bears and crocodiles, their features were so much more gruesome here and their autonomy so much more different. There was a deep cut in his leg thanks to the razor that was set on the croc's tail and as for the cuts running across his back.... Let's just say the bear's claws weren't exactly claws.

However it seemed as if he didn't have to worry about the animals as a couple of shots rang out in the air. Just as he was standing up a small  girl ran into his direction, nearly pasting him with a pistol in hand.

"Bree!" He called out making her skid to a stop.

She turned her head to his direction, her brown eyes behind her glasses were wide and panicked, her clothing too was torn and stained with blood and dirt. She stood there shaking, even the freckles that cover her face seemed to be scared.

"Bree, I'm so glad to see you. Do you have any idea where the exit is?"

"N- no...." She whispered, shaking even more.

"Pardon?"

"Y- you're not real.... " She muttered, "you're j- just a code, a pro- program. He's trying to tr- trick me again."

"what? No, Bree I'm real. This isn't a trick! C'mon lets just go, you know where the exit is right?"

"No, no this is a trick. It's all a trick. None of it's real. It's just a huge program." And before DL could even say any more on the subject Bree turned and bolted out of the area, leaving him behind. His posture drastically slumped, his face dropping to make him appear broken, lost.

Depressed.

He blinked rapidly, tears starting to form in his eyes. He burried his face in his hands, trying hard to keep himself calm and to make his current thoughts die down.

"I'm fine. I'm fine." He whispered, "I'm not going to feel like this now, it's going to be okay. It's going to be alright. I'm going to be alright."

But despite the words of encouragement the tears fell anyways, leaving behind tracks as they slid down his cheek and onto his hands. DL was a broken boy and no one even knew.

"DL's.... Crying?" Queried Toby, looking rather surprise at the action that was taking place.

No one answered him as DL brought his head out of his hands, wiping off the tears as a snide voice cut through.

"Everyone just abandon you, don't they?"

He looked around, trying to figure out where the source was coming from.

"They don't even care about you, do they?"

"Who's there?!" He yelled out

"Does it matter?"

Silence greeted the sentence, DL looking around cautiously as he started to move ever so slightly.

"You know there's no point for you to escape."

He pursed his lips in response, looking rather annoyed at what was said, "and why's that?" He hissed, trying to replace the feeling of depression with anger.

"No one cares for you, you have nothing to get back too. May as well stay here."

"Oh shut up, they care." He insisted although his heart felt heavy, not believing what he had said. But he chose to ignore it, fake it until you make it.

"Really?"

At that the walls glitched and seemed to freeze up before a video was projected onto it, showing the rest of the creepypastas at home smiling and seeming to have a good time. Of course this wasn't exactly happening, it was just a trick- apart of the whole experience, but did DL know about this? Of course he didn't. He was looking at the video in shock, his body beginning to shake as it dawned onto him. They don't care... They really don't care. They don't want him back.

"First your game rejects you, now your friends. You really should have let your horse kill you a while back."

"This... This isn't happening." Stuttered DL, his complexion so much more paler now as he looked at the video with wide eyes.

"So pathetic, so worthless. You shouldn't be alive, you hold no real value. No one likes you anyways, they just put up with you. You're a burden to everyone, you'll just be a copy."

"No... No..." He slowly step back away from the image, not wanting to listen to the words that are now beginning to plague his mind. He turned and began to run, wanting to escape all of it.

"You should have died when you had the chance, no one wants to deal with you and no one wants you to get into their way. Why else would Dina say for you to stay at home while they go out for missions? Why else would no one send a rescue team to get you?"

"Shut up!" He cried out, his eyes now wide in panic as he continued to run.

"You're not even a real creepypasta, why would they even want to save you anyways? You're just a game character, a program, a code. You're nothing special."

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Cried out the Dark Link, tears now resuming their stream down his face. He took many twists and turns, not caring where he was headed as long as the voice didn't follow him. Slowly grass started to appear at his feet, his surroundings darkening as tree began to grow out of the walls. His breaths began to come out short, the voice continuing to torment him. Reminding him of his suicidal and depression ways.

"Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!"

Child like chants began to surround him, the smell of ash reaching his nose as he continued to run. He began to see little children wearing wooden masks trying to grab at him, trying to restrain him but he continued to run, wanting to escape this nightmare.

"No, no. Not this place. Anything but here." He whispered as he felt even more panicked. These familiar woods... The woods of LoZ was somewhere he didn't want to be right now. Not because of the children but because of someone else.

"let me go! Let me leave!" He screamed out in hysteria, trying so hard to block out the continuous negative comments.

Better off dead.

Don't belong here.

Spineless.

Weak.

Pathetic.

Nothing.

He cast a look over his shoulder as he past a large bonfire, he could just make out the silhouette of him. Link. He could just see his structure, the malevolent glint in his eye and that sickening smile. DL turned back to the front as he continued to run, arms of children snatching and trying to grab at the tatters of his clothes.

"I've done nothing to you! Nothing!" He screamed, "just let me get out of here. Please"

He looked back once more but was rather surprise to see that Link wasn't there. Where did he go? The answer was right in front of DL.

DL had instantly stopped running when he faced back front to meet Link's cold gaze, his eyes were even larger now to show shock and surprise. Slowly, he looked down. Blood and blackness that was his true form began to spread from where the sword had impaled him, covering his figure, weighing down his clothes. He dropped down to his needs and then to his side, blood continuing to ooze out as Link took back his sword. His breaths were now slowing down until they stopped, the blackness crawling all over DL's body until he was completely covered. At that the coding of the forest instantly turned back into the coding of the maze, revealing the crimson stain that was underneath DL.
