Peter Pan X Star

"Star wins!"

The Lost Boys cheered for Star when the fight ended. Despite her aching body, Star stood up and raised her hands in the air in victory. Peter walked towards her with a proud smile on his face. He patted her shoulder making her wince.

"Sorry," he laughed with apologetic eyes. "Let me fix that."

Peter waved his hand in front of her and Star felt relief that her body didn't hurt as much now.

"Thanks," she smiled.

"That was an interesting fight," Peter commented as they walked around the camp. The Lost Boys were helping Mark up, who was the Lost Boy Star fought.

"Interesting in a good way I hope," Star voiced out.

"Oh it was," Peter agreed. "It just shows that I've taught you well. The Queen certainly knows how to defend herself," he smirked.

Star's breath hitched when heard the term that Peter used for her. Peter has been calling Star the Neverland Queen for a while and as much as Star tried, she couldn't get herself used to it.

"Is something wrong?" Peter asked her with concern.

"No no," she waved her hand. "It's fine."

"Well I need to go," Peter informed her.

"Okay," she nodded. "See you later."

In an instant, Peter disappeared from Star's sight and she made her way into the treehouse that Peter has made specially for her. In the treehouse was quite high and only Star and Peter could get up. Peter created a spell so that Star could be the only one who could see the stairs leading to it so that she'll be safe.

When Star was in her treehouse, she immediately plopped on her bed and sighed contently at the softness of it. She was really tired with all that's happened today. With training and then Mark decided to try to fight her, which was stupid on his account. That wasn't the most tiring part of Star's day. It was basically just trying to see if Peter was going to show any signs of interest in her.

Despite how many times Star has tried to deny it, she has feelings for Peter. She's fallen for the King of Neverland. Star sighed as she thought about Peter's green eyes, his brown hair that looks so soft, and that smirk of him that makes her wants to melt. Star let out a breath and rolled to a side of the bed. She opened her lamp on her bedside cabinet and took the book that she was reading earlier. She started to read and got lost in a different world, like she always does whenever she wants to forget about Peter.

"Star. Star wake up."

Star felt someone shaking her, interrupting her from her dream. Star buried her head deeper into her pillow and just tried to go back to sleep. But the person trying to wake her up was shaking her even harder.

"Star please wake up," the voice begged.

"Five more minutes," she said in a muffled tone.

"I'm afraid we don't have five more minutes Star," she heard the voice chuckle deeply.

Star's eyes fluttered open and she saw Peter looking at her with an amused look on his face. Star gasped and was suddenly awake. She sat up and looked at Peter with her eyes wide as the moon. It wasn't the first time that Peter was in her treehouse but it was the first time that Peter saw her sleeping and she probably looked like a mess.

"What are you doing here?" Star breathed out.

"I need to show you something," Peter said, making no comment on how she looked.

"Why did you have to wake me this early in the morning?" She whined as she rubbed her eyes. "As much as I hate being interrupted while I'm reading, I also hate being woken up from a good dream!"

"Well I'm sorry but this is something really special."

"Fine," Star sighed since she couldn't go back to sleep. "Just let me get dre-"

"There's no time," Peter cut her off. He grabbed hold of Star's wrist and the both of them disappeared from the treehouse.

The both of them appeared at the Cliff. Star was very stunned and she almost lost her balance and fell off the cliff. But strong hands held her shoulder and pulled her away from the edge.

"What the hell Peter!" Star yelled. She was feeling really cranky.

"Shhh," Peter covered her mouth with his hand. "You don't want to wake up the Lost Boys."

"Well I'm glad that you care that they get a good night's sleep and not your 'Queen,'" she pulled his hand off her. "What is all this even about?"

"I just want to show you something," his hand was on her wrist again. "Now come on," he pulled her.

"We're still not there?" Star whined as she tried to follow Peter.

"We're close," Peter said.

Star let out an exasperated sigh and didn't say anything as Peter pulled her deeper into the forest. Star tried to think what Peter wants to show her. It could really be anything since it's Peter she's talking about. She also wondered if this could all just be a dream. Not the first time she's dreamt of her and Peter though.

Peter and Star went inside a dark cave. Even though they were inside, Peter's hand never let go of Star's wrist. Star was waiting anxiously for the both of them to reach the place that Peter wanted them to go to. She squinted her eyes until they adjusted to the darkness. She still couldn't see much but she could see Peter right beside her. Her eyes landed on her wrist which was still held by Peter and she blushed.

"We're here," Peter breathed out.

"Here?" Star looked around and saw nothing, still darkness. "Where?"

Peter let go of Star's hand making her panic a little. She heard a tap on the cave wall and turned to the direction of the sound. "Peter?" She called out.

In an instant, a small light appeared in front of Star. She backed up in surprise but she didn't fall to the ground since Peter caught her. "What is that?" She asked him. "A fairy?"

"No," Peter shook his head. "Pixies."

Several more small lights appeared and Star stared right at them in awe. The pixies then began to fly around the cave. Now the dark cave was now filled with light because of their wings.

"Wow," Star smiled. "Why'd you want to show me this?"

Peter shrugged. "I've stumbled across this for a while. I couldn't think of anyone I want to show this to, but then I thought of you."

A blush crept on Star's cheeks and she was hoping that she could stop it. "Thanks. It's beautiful. They're beautiful."

Peter smiled at her and the both of them sat down and watched the pixies fly around.

"Pixies are a beautiful and mischievous species," Peter said. "They can make you tell them anything. Your deepest darkest secrets and such."

"Oh," Star nodded. She knows her deepest secret, she wondered what Peter's was.

"As long as you don't breathe in their special dust, their magic won't work on you," he reassured her.

"Special dust?" Star raised her eyebrows. "Like pixie dust?"

"No," Peter smiled and shook his head. "Pixie dust is harmless. Pixies are the creators of different kinds of dust. Pixie dust are just their most famous dust, yet most useless if no one believes."

Star watched as a pixie walked towards her. She noticed how pixies were different from fairies. The pixies have pointy ears and they're a lot smaller than the fairies are, even when they're small themselves. The pixie was walking towards Star and waved at her. Star waved back and the pixie flew past her and towards her friends.

Star had no idea why but she felt this huge amount of courage. She thought about Peter's actions tonight. He woke her up to show her something that'll would never show anyone else. This place would just be their own special place. She also thought of the way that he held her tight as he guided her in the cave and around Neverland.

"What are you thinking about?" Peter asked her.

"You," Star admitted, her cheeks getting hotter by the minute.

"Well I am devilishly handsome and attractive," Peter smirked.

Star laughed and Peter laughed with her. "I never thought you were so vain."

Peter shrugged but he still has the smirk on his face.

"Peter," Star called out to him.

"Yeah?"

"I need to tell you something," Star tried to keep her voice steady.

Peter's eyes widened in alarm. "Did that pixie give you any of its dust?"

"No," she reassured him. "I just really want to tell you something."

Noticing the seriousness in her tone, Peter sat up straight and faced Star. "What is it?"

"Peter," Star started. "I-I. I like you," she confessed.

Star raised her head and saw Peter staring at her but his mind was far far away.

"P-Peter?" She snapped her fingers in front of him.

"What?" He regained composure. "Y-You like me?"

"I do Peter. I really do," Star tried to lean towards Peter but he backed away.

"Why are you telling me this?"

"I-I just thought that-"

"Maybe I felt the same way?" Peter raised his eyebrows. "Star you forget that my heart is as black as the night. A heart like that can't love."

"Maybe you can," Star said.

"No I can't!" He argued. "And neither can you."

"What are you saying?" Star's eyes were furrowed.

"No one is capable of loving a monster like me," he growled. "NO ONE CAN EVER LOVE ME!" He yelled.

"Shhh," Star tried to calm Peter down. "The pixies."

Peter's eyes were dark but they turned light again meaning that he's calming down. "This is all a joke right?" Peter said.

"Peter it isn't."

"Yes it is," he urged. "It's all a joke. A trick because I woke you up in the middle of the night and ruined your sleep."

"Peter," Star's voice cracked.

She was hurt. Hurt because Peter just rejected her. Hurt because he doesn't feel the same way. But most of all, she was hurt because Peter doesn't think he's capable of falling in love.

"I do like you," she repeated. "Don't you believe me? Can't you believe that?"

"No. No I don't." Peter disappeared from her sight, leaving her alone in the cave full of pixies who comforted her as she cried her heart out.
