Thomas's POV

Three months.

(Y/N) has been in a coma for three months. News of her accident was like a huge boulder was thrown at me and squashed me flat. I wasn't allowed to go to her room before since they don't think that I should leave the room yet. Despite of my pleading and begging, they still didn't let me. So I just ask about her from the other doctors.

Just a month ago, I was released from the hospital. I was glad since I was able to visit (Y/N). I would visit her almost everyday.

She seemed so peaceful in her sleeping state. I hope that she'll wake up again. I want to see her beautiful eyes again. Hear her voice and her laugh. I want to see her smile again because that's the only thing that could brighten my day. I know that it sounded cheesy but it's true.

Now, as I was walking towards (Y/N)'s room, I was holding flowers. They were lilies which I've heard that she loved so much because of Oliver. At first I felt jealous at the mention of another guy's name but then I learned about their past. I felt sorry for (Y/N). The doctors even told me that he promised her that they would go on a real date when he was released but they never had it. They said that the bracelet was a promise that he was going to be alright and that their future will be with each other.

I entered the room and saw Dr. Sandra looking at (Y/N). She jumped a little when she saw me but then she smiled at me. We greeted each other and I asked her what was happening to (Y/N). She said that nothing has changed yet much to my dismay.

"You want to be alone with her?" She asked.

"Yes."

I was grateful when she said that and left the room. I placed the flowers on (Y/N)'s table and held her hand. My thumb was rubbing her knuckles as I stared at her.

Nothing.

"Hi (Y/N)," I started. "I've brought you flowers. They're lilies. I've heard that they're one of your favorites."

Still nothing.

"I know that we've only known each other for a week but I can't stop the feelings I have for you. I'm not exactly sure of I'm in love with you but I've grown to care for you. I know all about your history with Oliver. I would understand if you would reject me when you wake up. I really hope that you would wake up."

Still nothing.

"Everything about you captivates me. You're a really special human being. You're a great doctor. I'm not lying really. Everyone of your patients were devastated when they heard about your accident. You've left quite a mark in their lives. You've left an even bigger one in mine. So please wake up. If not for me, then for you patients."

I stood up from my seat and looked at her for a long time. As if it was the last time I would see her. I leaned in and kissed her forehead.

It was then I heard a long beeping sound. I looked up and saw that it the line was flat. There were no ups and downs. It's flat.

I know that it means she's dead but she can't be.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Please don't leave! (Y/N)!"

Doctors and nurses bursted inside the room while I was led out. My hands were shaking and I started to cry.

Please don't leave (Y/N).

Please don't leave.

Stay alive.

(Y/N)'s POV

This is nice.

I was at the beach with Oliver as we tried to build a sandcastle. That was until he destroyed it by pouring water all over it. Then we ran around the beach until he caught me and threw me at the water.

This was how I've spent the three months that I was dead.

I knew that I was dead.

I was able to see Oliver again and we went on dates and were catching up with each other.

After a while, we were enjoying the view of the ocean as we dined. We were eating all types of seafood. Oliver would crack a joke that would make me laugh until my sides hurt.

This was perfect.

Being with him seemed perfect but it wasn't.

I felt as if something was missing.

I stared at Oliver who was looking at me with sadness.

"Oliver what's wrong?" I held his hand.

He placed my hands on top of his and kissed my knuckles but I feel like it was being rubbed than it was being kissed.

"You need to go back," he told me.

"Go back where?"

"Back to the world."

"How is that possible?" I laughed. "I'm dead."

"No you're not," he shook his head. "You are dying though. You weren't dead these past three months. You've just been in a coma," he explained.

"I don't want to go back there," I told him. "I want I stay here with you Oliver."

Oliver gave me a sad smile and let go of my hand. "You have someone waiting for you down there (Y/N)."

Thomas.

"He's waiting for me?" I felt my heart and it fluttered. I am alive.

He nodded.

"He's been visiting you everyday. Talking to you. Wishing that you would wake up."

When I've heard about what Thomas did, butterflies had a party in my stomach. But living down there again is going to be painful.

"I can't live down there again Oliver. The pain of your death will come back."

"Stop blaming yourself for my death (Y/N)," Olive held my shoulders and made me face him. "It was just my time to die. I was upset at first when I saw that I wasn't able to going to be with you but then I saw that there was someone better for you."

"No one is better than you Oliver."

"Oh no there is. You know who he is. If your guilt of my death is the reason why you won't accept that you like him, then let it go. Think about what I've said. It's already my time but it isn't yours. If you stay with me, then you and Thomas won't be together. I know that you'll regret it. So go now."

"Go where?"

"Go to Thomas and live."

I nodded and began to run. I don't know where I'm running but I feel like it's where I'm supposed to run.

"I know that we've only known each other for a week but I can't stop the feelings I have for you. I'm not exactly sure of I'm in love with you but I've grown to care for you. I know all about your history with Oliver. I would understand if you would reject me when you wake up. I really hope that you would wake up."

It was Thomas's voice and he was talking to me.

"Everything about you captivates me. You're a really special human being. You're a great doctor. I'm not lying really. Everyone of your patients were devastated when they heard about your accident. You've left quite a mark in their lives. You've left an even bigger one in mine. So please wake up. If not for me, then for you patients."

Then I think that I felt something soft and gentle touch my forehead. Thomas kissed me on my forehead.

"I will wake up Thomas! I will wake up for you!"

Then I think I saw a huge door. A door that was beginning to close. I must be already dying.

Oh no!

I need to run faster.

It was then I saw Thomas crying in the corner.

Am I too late?

A/N: Sup guys! I'm not dead! Sorry for the long hold up! It's been a month since I've updated and I'm so sorry. Part four is being written already.
