"Stop it darling." Ellie swatted Ethan's thigh because of it's constant thumping that other people started to eye them with creased forehead.

"Can't help it darling, I am nervous." her husband said. Yes, they got married two weeks after that day. It was simple but perfect for her, only family and close friends are invited. She wore the very same dress she made while dreaming of getting married to Ethan.

"It's just an ultrasound darling, there is nothing to be nervous about." she said to calm him.

"I know, but this is the first time that I am going to see an ultrasound, of our child. I haven't seen and experienced it during your first pregnancy." he explained, slight irritation evident on his voice.

"I'm sorry." he said after sometime. "This whole pregnancy thing is making me nervous." he added which made her smile. Ethan had been hands on with her pregnancy ever since the day he had known she is carrying. She smiled when she remembered that day.

Flashback...

She woke up with slight muscle ache from the rigorous activity she had done with Ethan the whole night. She stretched her limbs and found him staring intently at her.

"What is it?" she asked, her eyes wandering on his face for any clues.

"Nothing darling, I am just admiring the beauty that you are." he said with a smile hinted on his lips and she moved to get closer to him and closed her eyes.

She felt Ethan moved and took something on the bedside table, she didn't mind it and kept her eyes closed.

"Darling," Ethan called and she opened her eyes to his very serious-looking face. "I know this will never rival how Lucas did his to Claire, but I decided not to let you leave this bed without you wearing this ring. Please marry me darling and make me the happiest man by being called your husband." Ethan said while putting it on her finger.

"Aren't I suppose to say 'yes' first before you put it?" she teased.

"Are you going to say no?" Ethan asked with a dejected face.

"No." come her quick answer which made him more dejected as it is, she giggled.

"Of course, I am going to say yes darling." she said and embraced him.

"Thank you darling. I love you." he said and returned her embrace.

"Even with the stretch marks and all?" she asked taunting him. She doesn't mind her body having it, she is not like the other woman who is not okay having a battle scar, because for her, it is one of her battle scar.

Before he answered, he positioned himself on top of her and stared at her body. She swallowed and waited, she saw him caressed the marks on her belly and side.

"They are beautiful in my eyes darling because it meant that you endured carrying my children and I admire you for that." he said and kissed her fully, she returned the kiss he gave her and when they parted she told him her secret.

"Darling, I think those marks will be more in the coming months." at his questioning gaze, she added. "I think, I just think, but I am not sure yet that I maybe pregnant."

It took him a while to process what she said and a wide smile covered his face.

"Really? We're pregnant?" the joy that his face radiated made her happy.

"I am not yet sure darling." she said, not wanting to quashed his hope.

"Oh, I am sure you are darling. There are some changes in you body that I noticed recently, but thought nothing of it." she gaped at his statement and chuckled.

"You're loving this, aren't you?" she said.

"Of course I am, I felt ecstatic even." he said and his hands started to wander, they made love that morning and decided to go to her OB for a check-up and her doctor confirmed that she is already eight weeks along.

End of Flashback...

And today is her schedule for another checkup and to do her ultrasound, and her husband has been so nervous.

"Mrs. Ellaine Margaux Anderson." called the receptionist.

"Here." she said and followed her with Ethan in tow.

"Good morning." she greeted her OB.

"Oh hello Ellie, Ethan." the middle-aged doctor greeted them and motioned for them to sit. "Let us do the ultrasound first to see how the baby is doing."

The doctor ushered her to the dressing room to change into a patient gown and motion for her to lie on the bed. A liquid was applied on her belly and the ultrasound started.

"Oh, what do we have here?" at the woman's voice, her and Ethan stared at each other before focusing their eyes on the monitor.

"Why? Is there something wrong?" Ethan asked, worried.

"No, nothing. It's just that you are having twins again." the woman said which made her gasped.

"Really? Another twin darling." Ethan said in a shaky voice then kissed her. "Thank you for this darling, I love you." he said and a tear escaped his eyes.

"I love you too." she answered, teary-eyed as well.

The ultrasound and her check-up continued, and her pregnancy is going well. They drove to the Anderson family house for the scheduled family dinner where they were congratulated.

Ellie never imagined that she will have the happiness and family that she had been dreaming for a long time. Her and Alessa are doing good, even with Faye. Both families let the past go and every now and then, they will drive to meet them somewhere. There are still some bump but all is well.

"Momma! Momma!" Ally's voice rang throughout the house.

"In here sweetheart." she called and her children came into her view.

"What is it sweetheart?" she asked.

"We're hungry Momma." Nate answered, rubbing his belly.

"Okay, let me make something." she said, stood up and went to the kitchen.

"Do you need help?" said someone and she came face-to-face with Chase, the twin's newfound friend.

"No, it's okay -" she said but was immediately cut off.

"I know how to cook, my mom let me help her in the kitchen sometimes." the young boy said.

"Okay. Can you chop some onions and garlic, please, we're making pasta." she said and gave him some more instruction.

She stood there in awe at how efficient he is with a knife and he had chopped and cut everything she needed.

"Anything else ma'am?" the boy asked.

"No, nothing else. Thank you. Why don't you get back with Nate and Ally and play with them?" she said which the boy complied.

Her gaze followed the boy and her forehead creased. The boy, Chase, though only twelve, according to him, is taller than his age, with air of maturity. Not only was he tall, he is also good-looking, with a tanned skin and dark brown hair. What was puzzling was, when him and Nate are sitting side by side, they look like they are related, almost brothers, except when you look into their eyes, Chase has an amber eyes, almost gold.

Her musing was cut when an arm snaked her body, the hands settled on her big tummy.

"You're staring at him again." Ethan said while kissing her neck, hugging her from behind.

"I'm just fascinated by his eyes." she said.

"Is that all?" Ethan prodded.

"Can't help thinking that way. But what are the odds?" she said, and turned to look at him.

"Not mine." Ethan said defensively.

"I am not telling he is yours, but maybe from one of your brothers." she said pouting and Ethan became thoughtful.

"Have I told you how beautiful you are?" Ethan asked her, removing the idea from her mind.

"Everyday." she answered with a smile.

"And have I told you I love you today."

"Yes, too many times to count." she said and peck his lips.

"I love you." he said like a prayer.

"And I love you too." she said.

Yes, there may be bumps along the way but they are going to face them and overcome them - together.
