third person pov

rosie and sam returned home after running along the beach together for 2 hours. it was currently 8am as they had set off at 6.
"good run sam" rosie said as they walked through the door
"it was fun to run with someone willing to match my pace"
"yeah, where did steve even go"
"he only likes running 1.5hours in a row because foo much longer is boring"
"right, well im gonna shower, i'll see you at breakfast" and with that both sam and rosie returned to their rooms to shower.

wandas pov

i heard someone walk into our room and slowly woke up
"hey" i said to rosie, who had just entered
"good morning, i think you can sleep some more, we aren't going to the beach till after breakfast, i'm just gonna hop in the shower" i slowly nodded, putting my head back on to my pillow. i was unable to fall back to sleep so ended up scrolling through my phone until rosie came out of the shower. she was wearing shorts and a sweatshirt.
"do you want to return to bed and cuddle me?" i asked smiling
"i want nothing more" unlike at the compound, our bedroom didn't have a tv. but we didn't mind, instead opting to talk to one another. at 9am there was a knock on our door
"come in" rosie called out. we both knew it would be nat, her being one of the only other people to enter our room at the compound. to neither of our surprise she walked in, to both our surprise she was carrying a bag
"i got you guys presents"
"you gut us presents?" i asked smiling
"bikinis, we're on holiday, you don't want to have to wear your sports swim suit to the beach" she then chucked two bikinis to us, as xs for rosie, which i handed to her, and a small for me. rosies was a plain black bikini which had a square neck top and bottoms that went slightly high on the thighs. mine was white with small flowers on it, the bottoms in a similar style but the top had underwired cups.
"thank you nat, this is really nice of you" rosie said to the redhead
"yeah, thanks nat, these are really pretty"
"no problem, get dressed, breakfast in 30" and with that she left our room.

after breakfast the group if avengers slathered suncream on, even superheroes get sunburnt, and walked out to the beach. rosie dragged wanda hand in hand to the water, peter and sam not too far behind. the other avengers opted to sunbathe or play various beach sports which tony had prepared each net and ball for. it was safe to say rosie felt slightly uncomfortable in the bikini, but she couldn't not wear it after natasha bought it for her
"you look great rose, theres no need to panic"
"you also look absolutely gorgeous" they were now both stood in the see, staring into eachothers eyes as peter and sam flipped and splashed a few feet away
"i love you" rosie said, a smile creepung onto her face. wanda was beaming in response before replying
"i love you too" they both then turned to look out over the water, head leaning against one another, just letting the moment sink in. unbeknownst to them, a certain redhead smiled whilst watching them. in that moment, it felt as though nothing was ever wrong in their lives.

they were happy.
