3rd person pov
by the time billie woke up the next morning it was 9am and marley had already gone to uni. she packed up her stuff and headed out to the kitchen. no one else was around but she found a note on the fridge.

we didnt know when you'd wake up but we all have classes this morning, theres a spare key on the bench if were not home when you leave you can lock up.

she grabbed a glass of water before deciding to go home and write more for her next album, the inspiration was coming back hard.

marleys pov

i was sitting in the back of my lecture on my phone behind my laptop. i woke up in a good mood but now todays just one of those days.

blake was beside me but he kept talking to me every 5 minutes which was started to annoy me. "are you working tonight?"

"6-12" i responded and he nodded saying he had the same just starting at 5. i did the work that needed to be done but the class couldn't have been longer.

i finally got home at 1pm making a smoothie and sitting outside. when i got out there i stopped seeing willow smoking on the balcony.

"i thought you stopped" i said and she jumped not realizing i was there.

"i thought i did too" she said putting it out instantly and wiping the tears from her eyes. now i was concerned i put my drink down and walked over to her. "dean cheated on me, apparently hes been doing it for months" she explained. and i brought her into a hug.

dean was her boyfriend of 7months i never thought he was good for her but i've never been in a relationship so what would i know.

"you wanna know who he cheated on me with though" she said pausing for a second "kassie" she finished.

his fucking girl best friend. of course.

i comforted willow a bit more slipping the pack of cigarettes into my hoodie pocket. i knew she would get mad at herself later if she found them again later and realised she did it.

"i think i'm going to have a shower and take a nap. thanks mars" the girl smiled wiping her tears again and collecting herself.

"okay, call out if you need me" she nodded and walked inside so i took a seat on our outdoor beanbag.

i threw my head back in exhaustion before feeling my phone vibrate.

"yes billie" i say once i pick up her call taking a sip of my smoothie

"can you say, i know your watching me, im recording this by the way" after repeating what she said the way she said it i asked a question.

"okay but why me"
"i like your voice, it fits the song" i nod even though she couldn't see me and put the phone on speaker dropping it to my chest as i lean my head back again.

i let out a deep breath and billie could obviously hear it.

"yeah, willows upset right now and any time someone i'm around is in a bad mood it's like i can feel what their feeling" i explained curling up a little more on the beanbag.

"why is she upset?"
"dean cheated on her" i wouldn't have actually told her the reason but last night them two got into a long chat about boyfriends and willow trusts her.

"ew. send me a photo of him so i know what face to punch if i ever see him"

"yeah that's a punchable face" she laughs once she opens it.

"yeah" i sigh before realising the time. "shit i should get ready"

"you don't have to come over if your to tired, it's okay"

"no you wanted my help it's fine"
"okay but you don't have to get ready just come over in pyjamas for all i care"

"im going straight from yours to work anyway"
we ended the call and i walked back into the house to put my work clothes in a bag. billies right i can't be fucked getting ready right now.

"where are you going tot" alyssa asked eating a nectarine.

"billies, i need to help her make decisions on stuff" i told her slipping my shoes on. "and i told you to stop calling me that"

"okay have fun" she said disregarding my wishes.

3rd person pov.
marley was basically falling asleep on billies couch as they talk about different things for a couple of her events coming up.

laura was on the phone as well as her mother maggie and its was a solid business conversation.
but once that part was over there was still another over an hour till the girl had work.

"do you want some dinner before you go?" the singer offered opening her fridge for something.
"it's okay, ill probably have something there" she said sliding to the floor to pet shark.

"hi baby" she cooed petting him. "i want a dog so bad, he actually makes my life 10 times better"

"hey what about me?" billie joked "you seem more like a cat person"

"i'm kind of offended" marley said. "cats are cute and all but dogs are just so sweet. i want one that will cuddle me though" she complained when shark hopped up from where he was laying in marleys arms to billie who just put out his food.

the singer laughed sitting on the couch beside her. "wanna watch the office?" she asked.

"never watched it but sure"

"you have to be kidding me, it's literally my favourite show"
