*Adelaide*

I woke up in the room that was next to Morgana's, Uther gave it to Morgana so that her Handmaidens could be near her in case she needed them in the middle of the night and this is the case. I woke up to Morgana having a nightmare. I walked into her room seeing her sitting up in her bed.

"Are you alright?" I asked her

"I just had a dream about Arthur dying in the tournament, that is taking place over three days." Morgana said.

"It's probably just a dream, but maybe today we get to see some cute knights," I said making Morgana laugh. I helped her dress and after that, she ate her breakfast while I went to Gauis' chambers so I could get dressed. I walked into the room I shared with Merlin and saw that his side was a mess... I rolled my eyes and walked to my side. I got a dress and got I did my hair in a braid before I walked back out.

 I walked to Morgana's chambers, where I met up with her and Gwen and the three of us walked down to the tournament grounds. We sat in the stands and we watched as knights all stood in front of the king.

"Welcome, Knights or the realm. This tournament will test you and put you through trails, to see if you are truly a knight or are you a coward. The winner will be fighting my son the reigning champion." Uther said pointing to Arthur, I see one of the knights look over his shoulder at Arthur, for some reason that knight had a bad vibe about him. I pushed the feeling aside and and clapped along with everyone. The tournament went on and every knight got a chance to show himself. Later that night everyone stood in the throne room Uther was greeting all the knights but I had to change my dress because on of the servants spilled red wine on my dress. I was in a new when I walked into the throne room.

"Adelaide, come here." I heard Uther say, I was confused so I looked at Morgana who looked just as confused as I did. I walked to the king.

"Your majesty?" I asked confused as I stood in front of him.

"This is knight Valiant. Knight Valiant this is one of my wards friends that is visisting her for a while." The king said.

"It is nice to meet you Lady Adelaide." Knight Valiant said kissing my hand.

"It is nice to meet you too." I said smiling.

"I will explain everything later, now go stand next to Morgana." The king said and I nodded and did as he told me to do. After all the knights went to their rooms the king summoned me to the court room and I walked there. I walked in and saw him sitting in a chair.

"The reason I did what I did earlier is because a few of the knights asked me who you were and I told them you were Morgana's friend, so for this whole week that the tournament is taking place, you are not Morgana's handmaiden you are her friend." Uther said and I nodded. The king waved me off as if saying I am allowed to go.

"One more thing, Adelaide, the champion at the end of the tournament is to escort you to the feast." The king said again I nodded, bowed and walked out.

I got to Morgana's chambers and walked in.

"What did he want?" Morgana asked

"Well looks like this whole week, I am to be your friend and the champion of the tournament is to escort me to the feast after the tournament." I said and my tone instantly said that I had no say in this.

"Uther's idea?" Morgana asked and I nodded.

It was the second day and the second tournament, I was sitting in between Morgana and Gwen, I wore a that looks really expensive, Uther gave me a few so that I would look like a Lady. My hair was loose and hanging over my shoulders. Last night Morgana forced me to learn all the rules about being a Lady, how to sit up straight, how to fake a smile (Which was easy) and last but not least how to talk like a real lady, and I am still not good at it.

Later that night there was a commotion in the court room, I had a bad feeling about this. I stood next to Morgana with Gwen next to me.

"Father, I believe Knight Valiant is using magic to win in the tournament," Arthur said

"What makes you say that?" king Uther asked

"I have a witness." Arthur said, and looked at Merlin who was standing by the door talking to Gauis.

"Where is this witness?" Uther asked and Arthur walked to where Merlin and Gauis stood talking,

"Where is Ewan?" Arthur asked, Merlin looked at Arthur before telling him something and I could see Athur's face morph into one of regret and he walked to Uther.

"Where is your witness?" Uther asked

"He's dead." Arthur said looking down.

Knight Valiant accused Arthur about being to scared to fight him that's why he made the things up he said and Uther asked if it is true, Merlin tried to talk but Uther had some guards grab him but knight Valiant stopped hit and said that it was not necessary and that he would accept Arthur's withdrawl but Arthur said that he was not withdrawing and stormed out, Merlin walked out behind him. Suddenly I felt someone look at me, I looked to my side and saw Knight Valiant smirking at me and I instantly felt uncomfortable. I was eating with Morgana in her chambers.

After dinner I told Morgana that I am going to visit Gauis. I was on my way to Gauis' chambers but before I could turn that way a hand covered my mouth and the person pulled me backwards.

I tried to kick the person but it wasn't helping. Suddenly I was thrown to the ground and I saw Knight Valiant smirking at me. I stood up and tried to make a run for it but he caught me by the waist. I started to scream but he tied a rag around my mouth to stop me from screaming. Then he did something that is going to ruin my whole life. He raped me.

He left me in that room, I didn't move. I heard the door to the room open and a someone stepped in. I didn't make a sound. Suddenly Merlin came around the corner and he saw me.

"Adelaide." He said reaching out for me but I moved backwards. I could see the sadness in his eyes. He moved backwards. "I'm going to get Morgana and Gwen, alright?" He asked and I just nodded. He left and came back not even five minutes later. He entered with Morgana and Gwen behind him. Morgana took one look at me and turned back to Merlin saying something to him and he left.

"Addy, we need you to stand up, we are going to your room." Morgana said helping me up. We walked to the room I am staying in and Morgana and Gwen helped me to the bed. Suddenly the door opened and Gauis and Merlin came in. I moved on the bed my back touching the wooden headboard of the bed. I saw Morgana saying something to Gauis making him look at me and then back to Morgana.

*Third Person*

"What happened to her?" Gauis asked when he saw Adelaide sitting on the bed and looking at them.

"I think she was raped, I 'm not sure but she flinched every time Merlin comes near her I don't know if she flinches when someone else is near her." Morgana said.

"I found her, in one of the extra room sitting in the corner and when I tried to go near her she moved backwards and I went to get Morgana and Gwen." Merlin said looking at Adelaide. Gauis nodded and moved towards the bed.

*Adelaide*

I saw Gauis coming this way and I moves backwards.

"I'm not going to hurt you, I just want you to tell me what happened." Gauis saidbut I didn't say anything I just kept looking at him.

"Alright, I'm going to ask you a question, will you answer it with a nod?" Gauis asked and I nodded.

"Were you raped?" Gauis asked and I nodded looking at him.

"Was I someone we know?" Gauis asked and I nodded

"Is that person in this room?" Gauis asked and I shook my head 'no'

"Was it a knight?" Gauis asked and I nodded bringing my legs up to my chest.

"Was it one of the knight in the tournament?" Gauis asked and I nodded and he turned to look at the others. He stood up and walked to them.

*Third Person*

"Alright, I'm going to talk to Uther about this, I won't bring up that it is a knight, will you and Gwen look after her?" Gauis asked Morgana who nodded. Merlin followed Gauis out casting one look at Adelaide who had laid down turning her back on them.

Gauis walked to the king's chamber where he was eating. He knocked.

"Come in." The king said and Gauis entered.

"Gauis what can I do for you?" Uther asked

"This is a rather private thing I want to talk about," Gauis said looking at the guard who stood at the door. The king nodded and the guard left.

"What is it?" Uther asked

"It is about Adelaide, the lady Morgana's handmaidedn who you made a lady for these three days."Gauis said

"What about her?" Uther asked looking at Gauis in confusion.

"She was raped." Gauis said and Uther looked shocked.

"How do you know this?" Uther asked

"Her brother found her, and the lady Morgana and he other handmaiden looked at her and I looked at her, she had bruises around her wrist along with her legs, the lady Morgana said that there is a hand mark on her upper leg." Gauis said and Uther nodded.

"I will see if we can find this person,did she tell you who it was?" Uther asked "No, she hasn't talked she only nodded and I asked her a few questions but I didn't get a name only that it is someone who lives in the castle who did it." Gauis said. Uther nodded. Gauis left and walked back to Morgana's chamber's since it was connected to Adelaide's chambers. He walked in.

"How is she?" Gauis asked looking into the room where Adelaide is sleeping. "She's asleep but she won't talk not even to Gwen and I. Gwen drew her a bath. There was a lot of blood and her back is all scratched up." Morgana said. Then she looked at Adelaide who was sleeping. "What did Uther say?" Morgana asked "He said that he will help us find the person who did this to her, but I fear that she is going to be traumatized for the rest of her life." Gauis said looking at Adelaide, you could instantly see that she was having a nightmare. "What are we going to do, tomorrow is tha last tournament and I have to attend, but I don't want to leave her behind." Morgana said. "When it comes to that we will think of a plan, other wise lock her in your room." Gauis said and Morgana nodded.

It was late at night and Morgana woke up to crying, she stood up and walked to Adelaide's room and saw her crying in her sleep. Morgana rushed to her side and woke her up. "Addy, wake up. It's alright. You are save." Morgana said waking Adelaide up, who sat up crying into Morgana's shoulder. Morgana rubbed her shoulders until she fell asleep and Morgana cover her with the blanket. Morgana walked to the window to close it only to see Arthur practising. She closed the window and went to bed.

The next day Morgana woke up and got dressed, she looked into the room where Adelaide was and saw her looking out the window, she was sitting in a chair. "Addy, will you be joining us?" Morgana asked but Adelaide shook her head 'no' and Morgana nodded and closed the door. She walked to Arthur's chambers. Another servant was helping him dress in his armour.

"Have you talked to Adelaide?" Arthur asked "Why do you ask?" Morgan asked and Arthur lokked at her confused. "I haven't seen her since yesterday in the court room and I want to know if she is alright." Arthur said. "Well, I don't think she's doing so great." Morgana said looking at Arthur and he looked confused. "Why do you say that?" Arthur asked "Ask Merlin. Oh wait you can't you sacked him." Morgana said sarcasticly and Arthur looked confused. "You don't know do you? I would have thought that your father told you." Morgana said looking at Arthur. "Told me what?" Arthur asked "It's Adelaide, something happened to her yesterday and it was one of the knights in the tournament who did it." Morgana said. "Did what?" Arthur asked and Morgana gave him a look which made him realize what she meant.

"Is she alright?" Arthur asked "She's really scared of men at the moment but I think she will learn not all the men are like the one who did that to her." Morgana said and Arthur nodded. They went down towards the tournament grounds.

In the tournament it was revealed that Knight Valiant was using magic and as Arthur pushed his sword through knight Valiant, knight Valiant said 'I hope she suffers, because that was my intent when I did that to her. When I took her innocence.' that words made Arthur kill Valiant quickly.

That night Arthur escorted Morgana to the feast instead of Adelaide who hasn't left her room. After the feast Morgana walked to her chambers then looked through the door to Adelaide's room but it was empty. Gwen came in. "Gwen, where is Adelaide?" Morgana asked and Gwen looked confused. "She's in her room." Gwen said and Morgana shook her head "No she's not." Morgana said and Gwen looked into the room. "She was here ten minutes ago, I asked her if I should get her something to eat and she nodded and I went to the kitchen." Gwen said and before Morgana could answer they heard a shout from outside, they looked out the window and saw
