Hii everyone..!!
Sorry for the late update...here is a long chapter in return..!!
Happy reading!!

Dada and the other members left after making the announcement, and soon, the news spread like wildfire all over the country.

Virat stood there, like a statue, feeling empty and broken, like his soul had been sucked out. Ro, who was shocked, snapped out of his daze when he saw Virat's state. He shook Virat, but there was no response. He called out desperately, "Vi... Vi... listen to me, Vi. Vi, I'll fix everything. Please, say something, Vi. Don't worry, I'm here. I'll take care of everything."

Ro was on the verge of breaking down himself, but he knew he had to stay strong for Virat.

Mahi tried to intervene again, "Ro..." but Ro held up his hand to stop Mahi from speaking further, his eyes fierce with determination.

Mahi realized it was pointless to talk now. Ro wouldn't listen, so he decided to leave. But before he left, he reminded Ro, "Mr. Rohit Sharma, don't forget you are the captain of the Indian Cricket Team, and you have other responsibilities as well."

Before Rohit could respond, Mahi left. Rohit stood there, puzzled, thinking about what Mahi had meant. Then, in just a few seconds, he realized Mahi was talking about the juniors. The kiddos must have seen the news. They needed their bhaiya too. But how could he leave Virat in such a state?

Rohit's heart was torn. He wanted to stay with Virat and comfort him, but he also knew he had to be there for the kids who looked up to him. His eyes filled with tears as he looked at Virat, who was still standing like a lifeless statue.

Ro checked his phone and saw numerous missed calls from the kids and seniors. They were probably worried about Vi. He knew he had to go to them to comfort them, but he couldn't leave Vi alone, unresponsive. He didn't know whom to trust at that moment. He quickly called Ritsy, asking her to come to the BCCI office to take Vi home while he handled the kids and others.

Ritsy arrived at the office as quickly as she could, having seen the news and understanding the situation outside. She approached Ro, seeing Vi standing like a statue. "Ro... how could they... didn’t you say anything? And Mahi bhai... how could he let this happen?" she asked, her voice filled with disbelief.

"They don't trust him," replied, his voice barely audible as he closed his eyes, overwhelmed by the weight of it all.

"What are you saying? How can they not trust him? Vi would never do something like this, Ro... please, do something," Ritsy spoke, panic evident in her voice.

"Rits, you take Vi home. I have to go to the ICT hotel," Ro said.

"Why do you need to go there?" Ritsy asked angrily, her frustration evident.

"I'm going just for the kids, Ritsy. They need me. They must have seen the news. They will be worried. I'm sure they will trust Vi," Ro said, worry in his eyes.

"Okay..." Ritsy agreed reluctantly. She had a feeling that if Mahi Bhai couldn't trust Vi, then how could they be sure about the kids? But she couldn’t voice this doubt to Ro. She didn’t want to crush the little hope he had, but deep down, she knew.

As Ritsy approached Vi, she called out his name, but he remained unresponsive. Gently, she cupped his face in her hands, her voice soft and soothing. "Vi, everything will be okay. Ro is here. He'll fix everything," she whispered, her eyes brimming with tears as Vi looked at her with teary eyes and hugged her tightly, seeking solace in her embrace.

She gently took Virat's arm and guided him towards the car. Virat moved mechanically, as if in a daze, not fully aware of what was happening around him.

As Ritsy drove Virat home, she kept glancing at him, hoping he would say something, anything. But Virat remained silent, lost in his own world of pain and confusion.

Meanwhile, Ro drove to the ICT hotel, his mind racing with worries and emotions. He knew he had to be strong for his brother, for his family.

As soon as he entered the hotel, Kul and Rishu ran to him and hugged him tightly.
"Bhaiyaa, what is happening?" Kul asked, his voice trembling. "Virat bhaiya... aise kaise?" Rishu began but Ro interrupted, asking about everyone else.

"Rahul and Harry are in Jas's room. Others are in Bhuvi bhaiya's room. And Mahi bhai..." Rishu started to say, but Ro cut him off, "I'll be back soon," and he hurried away.

Entering Jassi's room, Ro's heart sank at the sight before him. Jassi lay on the bed, eyes shut tightly, while Harry sat beside him, his face a mask of shock. Meanwhile, Rahul sat alone on the couch, lost in his thoughts.

Ro went to sit beside Jas, who immediately hugged him tightly, hiding his face in Ro's embrace. Harry put down his phone and joined the hug, needing the comfort.

But as Ro looked into Jassi's innocent eyes, he felt a surge of helplessness wash over him. "Bhaiya, why did he do it?" Jassi's voice was barely a whisper.

Ro's heart shattered at the question, but he composed himself, gently pulling away from the embrace. "He didn't do it, bacha," he whispered, hoping against hope that they would understand.

"But the news..." Harry began, only to be cut off by Ro's firm voice. "The news is bullshit... don't you trust your Vi bhai?" he insisted, searching their faces.

"And the evidence... it's all fake, right?" Rahul's voice dripped with bitterness, his eyes filled with hurt and anger.

"Yes, they're all fake," Ro replied, trying to convince them of Virat's innocence.

"What about the eyewitness? Is he lying too?" Rahul's said with sarcasm, his disbelief evident.

"Damn right he is... I don't know why, but someone's trying to frame Vi," Ro said, frustration evident in his voice.

"Stop defending him, Rohit," Rahul's voice was sharp with anger.

"What are you even saying, Rah... he's innocent! Trust him, please!" Ro pleaded, desperation creeping into his tone.

"Trust whom? A cheater?" Rahul's words cut through the air like a knife, leaving Ro feeling defeated.

Turning to Jassi, Ro's eyes pleaded for understanding. "Jassi, he could never do this to you... he's your older brother, he'd never hurt you... please, trust him," Ro implored, tears glistening in his eyes. But Jassi remained silent, his gaze fixed on Ro, filled with doubt.

Ro glanced at Harry, who lowered his head, silently siding with Jas and Rah.

Standing up, Ro couldn't contain his frustration any longer, "Why can't you understand? Someone's plotting against him... falsely accusing him," His voice echoed in the room, filled with anguish and desperation.

Hearing his loud voice, Jaddu, Ashwin, Shikhar, Kul, and Rishu rushed into Jassi's room.

Jaddu asked, "Rohit, kya hua?"

Rohit turned to see them all standing there and sighed deeply. "Acha hua tum log aa gye. Ye log meri baat hi nahi samajh rahe," Ro said, sounding relieved yet desperate.

"Kya nahi samajh rahe?" Ash asked, his voice full of concern.

"That Vi is innocent and someone is trying to trap him. Ab tum log hi samjhao inhe." Ro said, his eyes pleading for support.

Jaddu, Ashwin, and Shikhar exchanged puzzled and worried looks. They didn't know what to say. They understood how deeply affected Rohit was, but they were also shocked that he still trusted Vi despite everything.

Ro, frustrated by their silence, said, "Aise shakle kya dekh rahe ho ek dusre ki...bolo bhi kuch...samjhao inhe...hmara vi aisa kuch karr hi nahi skta...sab jhooth hai ye!" His voice was desperate, almost begging.

"Ummm... Ro..." Shikhar began hesitantly.

Ro looked at them, puzzled and anxious. "Arey, bolo bhi!" he urged.

"We are not sure," Ash said, his voice tinged with fear.

"Not sure? Of what?" Ro asked, his anxiety rising.

"Vi's innocence," Ash said, looking down, unable to meet Ro's eyes.

Ro's eyes widened in shock. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice shaky.

"Rohit, we have seen the evidence..." Ash started again but was cut off by Rohit, who spat out, "Those evidences are not true."

"Rohit, dada ne sab check kiya hai, vo fake nahi hai" Shikhar tried to explain.

Ro closed his eyes, trying to control his anger. "How can you trust some random shit over your own brother?" he asked, his voice filled with hurt.

Rah, unable to hold back his frustration, spoke up, "How can you still trust the person who cheated his own country, his own team, his own bloody brothers?"

"KL RAHUL... I AM TELLING YOU FOR THE LAST TIME... HE IS NOT A CHEATER!" Ro yelled, his voice echoing through the room.

Rah didn't back down. "He is not just a cheater... He's a selfish person who only thinks about himself... He sold out his own country for his gain... And he tried to hurt our Jas... How dare he..." Rah spoke with such venom that it made Ro's blood boil.

Ro, filled with rage, thundered, "RAHUL..." and raised his hand to slap him, but Jaddu quickly stepped in and stopped him. The room was filled with tension, everyone standing in stunned silence.

Don't you dare say another word against him...I swear mujhse bura koi nahi hoga," Rohit said, glaring at Rahul with a look that could burn through steel.

Rohit looked around at everyone, and their eyes told him everything. They didn't trust Vi, and this realization broke something inside him. But he tried one last time. He walked over to Jassi, kneeled down in front of him, and took Jassi's hands in his own. Jassi looked into Rohit's eyes, tears forming in both their eyes.

"Jassi bacha...do you trust me?" Rohit asked, his voice trembling.

Jassi nodded slowly, tears slipping down his cheeks.

"Please trust me on this...he is innocent, Jassi...he didn't do it...please...for once trust him," Rohit begged, his voice breaking. But Jassi withdrew his hands, and Rohit looked at him in disbelief, then at everyone else but nobody said a word.

"Why are you defending him? Are you also involved with him?" Rahul asked harshly, his voice full of suspicion.

"Are you out of your mind, Rahul?" Jaddu snapped, unable to believe what he was hearing.

"When he can't respect the person who treated him as his own child...who am I then..." Rohit said, his voice filled with sadness and disappointment.

Before Rahul could respond, his phone rang, and he answered it with agitation "Why the hell are you calling me? I don't know where your husband is, and I don't care!" he yelled before angrily throwing his phone.

Ro's heart sank as he realized who the caller was. "Nush..." he whispered, checking his phone to see her missed calls. He dialed her number immediately.

"Nush?" Ro's voice was filled with concern.

"Ro, what's happening? Where's Vi? He's not answering my calls, and outside our house, people are causing chaos, the media is everywhere... I don't understand... I'm so scared, Ro, Where are you both?," Nush's voice trembled with fear and confusion.

Ro's heart broke at the sound of her distress. "Nush, I'm coming. Vi is with Ritsy right now. Just stay inside, okay? I'm on my way," he reassured her before rushing out the door without a second thought.

Ro rushed to the Kohli house as fast as he could. As he approached from the back, he was met with a scene that shook him to the core. The sight of endless media and angry people outside their house, burning jerseys, throwing stones at the security and the house itself, sending a chill down his spine.

Entering from the back, he found Nush, her eyes swollen with tears, waiting anxiously. "Ro, what's happening... Vi... is he okay?" she asked desperately, clinging to him for comfort.

Ro hugged her tightly, trying to shield his sister from the chaos outside. "Vi is fine... he's with Ritsy at our house... we need to leave from here now," he said, his voice firm yet gentle.

"I'll go get Vami," Nush said, wiping her tears as she disappeared into the house.

Moments later, she emerged with Vami in her arms, whose tear-streaked face lit up as soon as she saw Ro, she ran into his arms, giving her ever precious smile.. She nestled close to him, her tiny arms wrapping around him tightly, as if she knew even at that time that her Chachu would take care of everything and protect her at all costs...
