They're planning something... - July 9, 1832

The crew has been acting extremely suspicious, getting all their work done extra quickly, avoiding me at all costs... Charlotte has become good friends with the crew and reads to them most every day, but I am afraid of her relationships getting unhealthy. What if she becomes one of them? I don't think she would dare. After all, I watched her try on a sailor's outfit just like a smaller version of the crew's clothing! She took it off quickly in disgust and later read to me an essay she composed on "The Proper Behavior for Young Women".

UPDATE: Charlotte found a red robin and a pistol in the forecastle. I SHOULD HAVE SEEN this coming. Argh!! She said there were six names and that she couldn't read them but I don't believe her. I called all hands. I intend to crush this mutiny before it begins.
