"Chelsea you spoke to Detective Branson horribly this morning." Christine confronted her as Chelsea sat down once again at the bar and ate her food. "Chelsea are you listening to me? I'm very disappointed in you."
"Well, I'm sorry mom! That I'm the worst daughter in the world!" Chelsea spoke up, after swallowing her food.
"Why are you always eating? Whenever I see you, you're always eating."
"Because I'm always hungry." She shouted back. She watched as her mother sat down in front of her.
"Honey, do you have something to tell me?" Chelsea looked up from her food and raised her eyebrows.
"Like what?"
"Are you pregnant?" Chelsea laughed loudly and banged the counter with her hands. "Chelsea this is serious. I've noticed a change in your personality, your increased appetite. There's only one thing. You and Oliver have been getting closer lately." Chelsea laughed again and shook her head.
"Mom. You don't have to worry-" Chelsea laughed again. "I'm not expecting a baby, you can cross that off your list." Chelsea heard her mother sigh deeply and chuckle a little.
"Then what's wrong? You can tell me."
"Mom there's nothing. Don't worry."
"Okay fine don't tell." Chelsea huffed and took the last bite of her food. "What are you going to do now?"
"You're trying to get rid of me already, I've only just got back."
"That's not what I meant."
"Mom I was joking. I was thinking about going to college. I still want to become a nurse." She gulped and had thought about it for a long time.
"Oh really. Honey I'm so happy you're still continuing on with your dreams. You did so well in your exams. This deserves a night out. Just you and me."
"Oh mom you don't have to."
"Nonsense. I'll tell Pete when he comes home from work, and then we'll go into the town." Christine jumped from the stool and walked away leaving Chelsea in the kitchen to wash her dishes.

Chelsea and her mother walked into the bar and she found a booth while her mother got the drinks. "Chelsea you're home. Welcome back! We was all worried for you." Was some of the things she heard.
"I got you a cocktail for you darling. This is to celebrate your birthday yesterday." Christine held up her glass and Chelsea did the same, clinking them together. Chelsea downed the drink and smacked her lips together.
"Thanks mom. Did you want another?"
"You've finished it already?" Chelsea nodded. "Yeah. Did you want the same?" She smiled warmly to her mother.
"Sure, I ordered the Juicy Kiss."
"Okay. I'll be back." Chelsea strutted up to the bar and waited to be served. As she waited, she remembered what Oliver said to her about compulsion. There was something she could do, so people would obey her, yet she didn't know how.
"Hi have you been served yet?" The female bartender asked her and she cleaned out two glasses, Chelsea shook her head. "Sorry about the wait, what can I get you? Lemonade?"
Chelsea chuckled and shook her head "no, I'll have two juicy kisses please."
"Are you even old enough?" Chelsea gulped and stared at the lady in the face.
"I'm old enough to get alcohol. Just get me the drinks and then I'll be on my way." She whispered.
"I'll need to see some I.D please."
"I said get me the drinks." Chelsea stared at the lady in the face, she watched as the bartender become 'hypnotised' by her words. "Two juicy kisses please." She smirked as she spoke. The bartender nodded and walked away making the drinks. Chelsea took the drinks and walked back to her mother and placed them on the table.
"Did you have any trouble?"
"No, it's just busy up there." She smiled. She went to sit down until in the corner of her eye, she saw someone familiar. "Actually I'm just going to the bathroom." Christine nodded and sipped her drink.

"Well well well, look who decided to turn." Alex appeared from a stall, and folded her arms. Chelsea closed the door behind her and placed her hands on her hips. "Does your beloved Oliver know about your transition?"
"I didn't really get a choice in it all."
"You chose to drink human blood, so you did." Alex spoke coldly. Chelsea turned towards the mirror, and sorted out her hair. She watched Alex walk up behind her and looked at her, it was like she was looking at her reflection in multiple mirrors. "When did you return?"
"Last night."
"And you still haven't seen Oliver?" Chelsea shook her head and spun around.
"Why are you so interested in Oliver? Have you been going at it while I've been held against my will and died!" Chelsea shouted and stepped forward to Alex who chuckled darkly. "You have I knew it." Chelsea tried to grab Alex's hair but she quickly moved away and attacked her, grabbing her by the neck and pushing her up against the wall.
"Oh come on now. Just because you're a little stronger than before doesn't mean you're stronger than me. Don't try to attack me ever, otherwise you won't live to see another day. Do you understand?" She pushed Chelsea's neck further into the wall and her bones cracked as the pressure in Alex's hands grew stronger. She dropped her like a fly and Chelsea coughed as she got up from the floor. Alex whipped around and smirked at her before leaving the bathroom. Alex stood outside the bathroom and took her phone from her pocket and tapped on the screen.

'You might want to take a trip to the bar... Now!'
Alex smirked and walked out of the bar outside. Chelsea came out of the bathroom a few minutes after and told her mother she would stand outside to get some fresh air. She leaned against the wall and rubbed her neck, even though there was nothing on her neck it felt like it was severely bruised.
"Alex why did you text me?" Olivers voice sounded behind Chelsea. "What's going on?" Chelsea turned around and smiled at him.
"Well? You're making me lose precious time in finding Chelsea."
"Oh-Um... I."
"Why aren't you speaking? You aren't the type to be quiet or be speechless." Chelsea wanted to tell him but she couldn't find the words to tell him, so she tried to copy Alex's way of speaking. "I'm going.." Oliver went to turn but Chelsea grabbed his arm stopping him.
"I wanted you to- um have some fun... With me."
"What? Have fun. What is with you tonight?"
"You have got to be kidding. That's probably the worst impression of me by far." Alex stepped out of an alleyway and stood behind Oliver, he spun around and looked at her and then back at Chelsea. "I'll give it to you though, Chelsea. You nearly got it there... Few more practises-"
"Chelsea? Alex shut up for a minute." He spun around to face Chelsea, and Alex ran to stand next to her. "You're back?" He looked at the both of them and shook his head. "Bloody doppelgängers."
"Hey. Don't curse at us." Alex held up her hand. "I'm Alex and she's the whining Chelsea."
"When was you going to tell me you were back?"
"That's the thing she wasn't going to tell you... She's been lying to you Oliver." Alex spoke menacingly and smirked as she waited for his reply yet he ignored her.
"Chelsea?" All three of them heard Christine giggled as she exited the bar.
"I'm here mom." Alex pretended to be her and Chelsea pulled her by her hair, Christine gasped as she saw the two girls standing before her.
"How much did I drink?" She put her hands to her eyes and rubbed them, as soon as she looked again, Chelsea was just standing there. "Oh Oliver hello. Oh my baby. I missed yooooou." Christine slurred.
"Mom I was just getting some air.." Chelsea walked over to her mother and held her. "I think we should start walking home. Come on."
"I'll drop you back." Oliver offered and Chelsea shook her head.
"No thank you, Oliver. It's very kind of you but my mother and I can walk just fine."
"I insist." He went to touch Chelsea's hand but she yanked it away.
"Oh Chelsea come ooooon. Let young Oliver here drive. Pleaaaaaseeeeee."
"Fine." They got into his truck and he drove them only a few minutes down the road, Christine got out the car herself and left Chelsea and Oliver to talk, somehow Chelsea knew her mother was faking. They sat in silence and all they could hear was each other's breathing. "Thankyou for dropping us home." Chelsea went to exit the car but he grabbed her hand, stopping her.
"When was you going to tell me?"
"About what?"
"Your return..."
"I was going to say when I built up the courage and when I got the police off my back."
"Anything else you want to share?" Chelsea shook her head, biting her bottom lip. "You really think not telling me I wouldn't find out instantly that you aren't human anymore?" He twisted a little to look at her in her eyes.
"I was going to tell you.."
"How long?"
"Three days."
"You've been a vampire for three days and you didn't think to tell me."
"I don't need a babysitter Oliver. I can cope fine just on my own." Chelsea took her hand away and got out of the truck walking up to the door and Oliver followed. "Don't follow me!" She shouted at him, spinning around to find him right in her face. Putting a hand on her cheek, she leaned into his palm and then moved away.
"Chelsea..."
"No Oliver. Just stop. I can't do this."
"Can't do what?"
"This. Us. I'm trying to adjust to my new life and I can't  when you keep interfering." He moved closer and stood dead still in front of her.
"Chelsea, I'm not interfering. I want to help you."
"I don't need any help from you." She spat quickly.
"What? So when you go off the rails, you don't me there to help you. Is that what you're saying?"
"No, I don't-"
"So you'd rather someone like Alex to look out for you, because she won't. You saw what she did tonight and she'll do it again."
"Please Oliver just go." Chelsea folded her arms and watched him. With speed he pulled her in quickly and planted a longing kiss on her lips. She kissed him back, knowing she really didn't want to but it was him, he made her do this. She pushed against him but he didn't budge. She pushed again, biting down hard on his lip, tasting the blood that flowed and pushed harder than before, he finally stepped back and sucked his lip.
"I'll see you soon Chelsea." He smirked seductively and ran into his truck and sped away. Chelsea gulped and walked into the house closing the door behind her.

The next couple of days went by quickly, Chelsea had looked up all of the colleges that she had the potential to study in, but she stayed close to home, studying at a college just an hour and half away. Pete drove Chelsea to college and she stood there, waiting for him to leave before turning around and looking at the entrance of the building. Zoey came rushing out and hugged her tightly, screaming in her ear. "Chelsea oh my god! You made it back home and you're starting college!" She jumped up and down and Chelsea laughed. "Have you seen your dorm yet?"
"No, I need to actually speak with the dorm supervisor and everything, because I never got the chance to."
"What? You can study while you don't have accommodation? Well, see if you can come into my dorm. I'm only sharing with 3 other people, so it's small."
"Okay Zo I will. I better go. I'll see you around."

"Well Miss Adams, it's a shame about your situation but it doesn't seem like we have any more dorms you could join. They are all full."
"Could you look again? Please. I really want to go to this college."
"I'm sorry Miss Adams but that's the way it goes. We can't do anything, you should've brought the application into us." Chelsea leaned forward in her chair and started to influence what the admissions woman was doing.
"You will find me a room, one where Zoey Daniels is staying in or my own one that's completely on my own. Now check." She watched the lady obey and scroll on her computer when she saw she was getting her own way. The lady looked up and went over to her printer getting a few sheets of paper.
"Okay Miss Adams. Now I took into your account what you wanted, and because of the number of people the dorm Miss Daniels is in, I have assigned you to your own room. You can move in today, but I think tomorrow would be a lot easier, or next week. Whenever you're ready. You are in room 208. Miss Daniels is in the same area. Exit this room, walk through campus till you get to 'Nightingale House'. You want the second floor and its along the corridor." The lady spoke in a calm, hypnotised manner. She handed Chelsea the key and smiled, getting to her to sign and letting her leave. Chelsea left while the lady tapped on the phone. She waited for the ringing to stop and someone answered. "Charles, we have a problem..." She stopped and listened to his husky voice on the other end. "We have a vampire on the premises." She hung up the phone, and put Chelsea's files away.

"Good morning class, my name is Jackie and I'll be your lecturer for the semester." She turned around and wrote on the large board. "Welcome to Nursing 101. Everything you need to know to work as a nurse." She turned around and studied her class. "Now I have one question, people raise your hands please... Is anyone squeamish with blood? Because if so, then get out of my class you aren't fit to be a nurse or work in this sort of area." She scanned the room, searching for hands but none showed. "Okay great. You." She pointed to a boy on the bottom row. "Come here and can you start handing out these booklets." The boy nodded and quickly took them, handing them out. "Now if you look to page one, this is a introduction for what we will be studying over the semester. You will be learning about the nurses profession, the important roles you have in this job. Patient needs, nursing aspects and the legal side to it all. Three times a week I expect you all to be working hard on your projects and studies! The other four days I expect you to be volunteering at the local hospital and health centres. This isn't a easy role, you are all old enough to make your own decisions so choose carefully, is this really where you can see yourself in ten years?" She pointed at Chelsea and felt all the eyes stare at her. "Well do you, Miss what is your name?"
"My name is Chelsea Mrs."
"Okay, second thing, please don't call me Miss, Mrs or Ms. My name is Jackie and I want to be called that. Now Chelsea, do you see yourself as a nurse in ten years?" Chelsea stopped and thought about it. Could she really become what she had always dreamed about in her life, helping people hadn't seemed a problem a year ago, but now she was a vampire and went into a crazy rage around any sight of blood, was she ready for that? To be thrusted into a world where blood was on your mind and not for a good reason? "Well?" Jackie grew angry. "We don't have-"
"Well Jackie, I have always dreamed of being a nurse since I was a young girl. Trying to help everyone comes naturally to me, and I think being a nurse is a great thing to do to help humanity. Plus Chicago has one of the greatest hospitals that I could see myself working in ten years time." She said her answer brightly and confidently gaining a shocked face from Jackie.
"Well said Chelsea." Jackie smiled and continued on with the introductory lecture. Jackie dismissed the class and called Chelsea back before she left. "I'm very impressed Chelsea, and this isn't even a real lesson."
"Thanks Jackie." She smiled.
"Chicago?"
"Yes ma'am. I used to live there and I relocated to Philly, a good few years ago. I've always had the dream to be a nurse though."
"I liked your speech earlier on, very truthful and straight to the point. Keep it up and you could ace this course."
"It's only just started."
"I'll keep my eye on you." She smiled and waved her hand, dismissing Chelsea. She walked to her room and opened the door, there on the floor was bit of paper. She picked them up from the floor, closed the door and sat on her bed. She read the flyers, one about a party tonight that she definitely was going to, and the other a welcome note from what looked like the principal or something. She also had a folded piece of paper that she looked at and saw her classes didn't officially start until next week, meaning she could bring her things to her dorm without worrying about going to class. She tapped on her phone to ask her parents to pick her up so she could get on with the packing, Leaving her home to start on her future.

"How did you let this happen?" Alex huffed as she walked around, shouting on her phone. "I don't care if you don't want to get involved anymore, this isn't what was meant to happen... What do you mean by that? Eh?" She growled. "We have to sort this. How? Well I don't know how, we just got to." She looked out the window and saw Sophie, Chelsea's younger sister walk past a couple of shops. "Oh well, fine just leave it all to me. I finish it anyways." She hung up the phone and smirked as she watched Sophie standing outside a shop on her phone. "Oh I'm going to fix this alright..."
