***** 3 years later****

The bell sounded from outside the classroom and Chelsea packed her books away, slinging her bag over her shoulder and walking closer to the door before she heard her name being called.

"Chelsea, could you stay back for a little bit?"

"Sure." she huffed a little before turning around and smiling. "Is there anything wrong?"

"Yeah, I just want to talk to you."

"About what?"

"Your application for College. You still thinking about going into medicine?"

"Well, yeah. I would love to be a nurse. Is there anything wrong with me applying?"

"Of course not." Her teacher smiled. "I want to help you with your application. But in exchange I want you to bump up your grades by another level. You do that and I will do the best reference possible to get you in. You are my number one student Chelsea and I don't want you to get anything else than what you are striving for!" Chelsea smiled brightly.

"I will Mrs Robinson. Thank You, I've got to go."

"Bye Chelsea." Chelsea turned around and picked up the books that she would carry to her next lesson, which she left out. Chelsea walked out the door as she looked at the book that Mrs Robinson gave her a few weeks ago. It was all about nurses and what they do when they work with patients. She flipped a few pages and felt herself collide into something... or someone. Her books fell to the floor and felt someone hold her steady and heard as her books slammed against the hard floor. She looked up and moved her hair out of the way and bent down to pick up her books before looking up and seeing a boy not much older looking than her standing and then quickly bending down to help her.

"Don't you watch where you're going?" Chelsea spoke first.

"If I remember correctly, it was you who wasn't watching." He cleared his throat as soon as he spoke and chuckled deeply.

"Cocky much?" Chelsea raised her eyebrows and glared at him.

"Very. Here are your books."

"Thanks I guess. I could've picked them up myself."

"Yeah but then I wouldn't have been able to call myself a gentleman." He winked at her. "I'm Oliver." He held out his hand, waiting for Chelsea too shake it.

"And I'm late for class." Chelsea replied before trying to get passed him in the crowded hallway.

"Don't I get a name...?" Oliver asked, blocking her way.

"Nope. You'll have to guess." Chelsea quickly smirked and walked quickly in the direction of the toilet.

Chelsea placed her bag down on the side and moved her hair by scraping it with her fingers so none of it was in her face. She examined her face and saw that she had rosy cheeks. That could've been because of her dropping her books in a crowded hallway. One of the doors from the toilet open and Isabelle appeared. "oh hey Isabelle."

"Hey Chelsea. You okay?"

"Yeah... Just a bit flustered. Oh well, I've got to get going. I've got workshop now."

"I've got the wonderful lesson that's taught by Mrs Henry. This hours going to be fun." Isabelle sighed deeply.

"Are you sure your okay Isabelle? You don't normally hide out in here and when you do you always tell me if something was wrong."

"I'm fine." Isabelle snapped. "Sorry chels. I've been feeling out of sorts today.. It'll pass. I've gotta go. I'll see you later."

Chelsea walked down the hall and entered the workshop class and went to sit down. She put her bag underneath the table and sat on the stool. "Okay guys, today we will be finishing our projects for this semester." Chelsea nodded and walked over to pick up her project. The drawers that she was constructing were nearly complete and that made her happy. Wood shop wasn't the best lesson to have but she had to pick something. Chelsea picked up the drawers and glanced up as the door opened and a familiar face appeared. Oliver blinked and smiled at Chelsea as he pushed the door open a little more. Chelsea tried to ignore him and moved back to her seat at the table and started working on her drawers. She held the side of one of the built shelves and picked up the saw and started working.

Her teacher patted her on the back and Chelsea put the saw down and turned around to face him. "Chelsea, This is Oliver. He's just moved into the school and needs people to show him around the classes. Since he picked Wood shop to help his studies and you are my number one student. I want you to show him the ropes. Is that okay?" Chelsea sat there for a few seconds and breathed out deeply before sighing and nodding her head. "Great. Okay Oliver, sit down on the seat opposite Chelsea and she will tell you what we have been doing this semester." Chelsea turned around and glared at Oliver as she watched him walk round the table and sit down opposite her.

"I knew I would find out your name sooner or later." Chelsea glared at him more. "What have I done?" He asked innocently.

"You haven't apologised to me yet for bumping into me on purpose in the hallway earlier." Chelsea grumbled.

"Me apologise to you?" Oliver chuckled and smirked a little towards her before looking her dead in the eye. "Sweetheart I didn't do anything."

"You bumped into me!" Chelsea raised her voice a little and watched as her fellow classmates looked up at her.

"Jheeze, you hold a grudge. We were both at fault. Okay Chelsea? I wasn't looking where I was going rushing to my next lesson and you were coming out of a room not watching. So I'm a very sorry for messing up your day."

Chelsea laughed a little. "Was that so hard?" She stuck her tongue out and picked up the saw.

"So what are you making?" Oliver asked Chelsea after a good fifteen minutes of silence as she worked on her project.

"I'm making a small set of draws. I've nearly completed it, but it's the tiny bits and pieces that I need to figure out." She held the saw in place on the wood and with her other hand she held the bit she was going to cut into.

"You might want to be careful Chelsea."

"I'll be fine. I've done this part a thousand times." A few minutes later, Chelsea was distracted by a few of her classmates having a row between themselves and the saw sliced right through her palm. She didn't have any idea how it happened but it was only when she saw her dark crimson blood pour out of her hand when she started to panic.

"Chelsea. I told you to watch out for that! It was completely loose!" Oliver jumped up from his seat and was immediately in front of Chelsea putting pressure on the wound with a cloth he found on the side.

"Ollie. I'm fine." Chelsea swiped her hand away from his grip and picked up her bag and walked out of the class.

Chelsea walked into the bathroom and saw Isabelle once again, but this time she was looking at herself in the mirror. Her posture had all changed and she looked wound up. "Isabelle. Are you okay?" Chelsea asked as she tapped her on the shoulder and Isabelle turned around quickly.

"I'm fine!" Isabelle shouted at her. "I'm sorry Chels... Wait are you okay? What happened?"

"Oh nothing... I just sliced my hand on the saw in wood shop." She moved the blood-soaked cloth from her palm and saw as Isabelle became mesmerized by the bloody wound. "Izzy, you okay?" She waved her hand in front of her face and Isabelle focused back onto Chelsea. "Are you alright?" Isabelle gulped and picked up her bag.

"I've got to go." She ran out of the bathroom and the door slammed behind her, leaving Chelsea in the bathroom clutching onto her hand.

Later that evening, after Chelsea had visited the hospital to get stitches for her hand, her mother kept questioning her about the accident.

"How many times have I told you Chelsea?"

"Mom, I'm 19 - technically I'm an adult now so you can't keep talking to me like I'm a little kid."

"Chelsea. Okay Im sorry. It's just I don't get how you could do something like that and not realise it straight away?"

"I don't know. It took a good few minutes before this guy, Oliver he helped me but I snapped at him."

"Oh Chelsea." her mother replied and then continued to wash the dishes.

"I feel guilty for snapping at him."

"Then apologise. That's all you can do..." Her mother continued and smiled a little.

"Yeah, I'll do it tomorrow." Chelsea made a quick face and then walked upstairs

Chelsea walked down the hallway and heard music coming from her sister's room. She pushed the door open and little and saw Sophie jumping up and down and dancing around wildly to her music which was blaring from her speakers in the corner of her room. Sophie didn't even know Chelsea was watching her from the door so she started singing loudly. Chelsea chuckled and then closed to door and went to her room. Tomorrow she would apologise to Oliver and find out what was wrong with her friend.
