Hi guys,

I just wanted to say these next chapters will be quite similar to the other chapters in 'Transitioning' but I just want you to know they aren't the same and I won't ever change them so they are the same since they are two completely different stories. I have tried to link them up and they do have some similar parts in each chapter and some of you might realise that... But I have added more in the chapters in this story since this is about Chelsea and not Isabelle. So I just wanted to clear that up with you all just in case you got confused...

Anyways enjoy xoxo

"Chelsea?" The voices sounded like they were far away in her ears, but the people talking were right in front of her. The last image of her best friend was all bloody and battered in a chair now she looked completely normal and healthy. Isabelle crouched down and rested her hands on Chelsea's knees. "Can you remember what happened?" She shook her head and gulped. The sounds were much clearer now, every slight noise she could hear. At the very back she could hear everything outside the room she was sitting in. "Can you speak?" Chelsea shrugged her shoulders and looked up to the boy who was rubbing one of Isabelle's shoulders. "Chelsea, this is Leo. He saved us."
"Thank-you." Chelsea spoke quietly, too quiet compared to what she used to sound like hours ago. How long had she been asleep, her neck hurt like someone had clicked it. Then everything came flooding back.

The memories of being taken, the man that walked behind her, Alex appearing and speaking to her. Chelsea looked up and realised that she wasn't in the room anymore, she was outside. Back at the bonfire a few weeks ago. Chelsea watched as Alex compelled her to follow her so she could find out the real Oliver. But that was the only memory she had... Nothing else.

"Chelsea?" Isabelle called out again.
"What's happened to me?" She asked. Isabelle shook her head and sighed. "Isabelle what has happened to me?" Chelsea shouted now.
"You're transitioning into a vampire, Chels."
"What? No. I can't, no it can't happen."
"Chelsea listen-" Leo spoke as Isabelle sat down on the floor and sobbed a little. "This will be easy, only if you embrace it." Chelsea laughed and stood up.
"Embrace it? You've got to be kidding me. I'm turning into a monster and you say I should embrace it." She laughed again and pushed him out the way.
"If you don't turn you will die!" Isabelle shouted. "I can't see my best friend die."
"Huh, oh am I your best friend now?" Chelsea spun around and put her hands on her hips and stared at Isabelle. "See, since you've moved to Canada, you completely forgot about me. I bet you wouldn't even care if Kaitlyn turned up in Pennsylvania and killed me. Would you? You have what you've always wanted. Me out of the picture, well you've got your wish."
"Don't listen to her, this is just her alter ego." Leo whispered to Isabelle.
"No, you're going to listen to me." Chelsea stepped forward and wrapped a hand around Isabelle's neck. "You did this to me."
"I didn't do anything."
"You made her do it Isabelle and I will never forgive you for what you have done." Chelsea's tone was sharp and evil. She dropped Isabelle and spun around heading for the door. Chelsea went to open the door when a lady dressed in a long gown stood in front of her. "Get out of my way." Chelsea snapped and the lady moved forward.
"Now is that a way to talk to your only friend here?" Miss Carter spoke gently as she entered the room. "You must be Chelsea. My name is Miss Carter."
"How do you know my name? Just let me go. I don't need anyone."
"Well for one thing, if you leave without completing the transition you won't make 200 kilometres before collapsing." Chelsea put her hands on her head and winced. "You got a headache? Well that's just one of the symptoms, soon you will get a raging headache. Then the pains in your limbs will start... Like a burning sensation."
"You are all fools, making me believe all this. I'm not going to die and I sure ain't a vampire."
"Isabelle, Leo you can leave us here. I'll be fine with Chelsea." They nodded and left the room closing the door behind them. Chelsea moved towards the bed and sat down on the edge.
"You can't keep me in here."
"Chelsea listen to me, I'm the only person in this whole school that knows what everyone goes through. The transition is very painful."
"Stop saying that! I'm not transitioning."
"So you're saying to me you can't feel the fire spreading in the balls of your feet slowly and painfully rising up your body." Chelsea shook her head, yet Miss Carter knew she was lying. "And your throat? How does that feel?" Chelsea kept tight-lipped. "What about your hunger? Are you hungry?" Miss Carter reached into her gown pocket and pulled out a blood bag. Chelsea's eyes widen and the hunger became the one thing on her mind. Her head started to pound like someone was kicking her, and her throat felt like sandpaper. Scratchy and rough.
"Pfft- I don't need that."
"Stop kidding yourself, Chelsea. I've met stubborn people like you every time. You don't want to admit it, but this will help you." She stayed silent and looked at Miss Carter.
"What's going to happen to me?" She asked gently.
"If you choose to transition then you will need to drink a little bit or all of it, it's your choice." Miss Carter handed Chelsea the bag and she placed it into her lap. "Now what I'm going to tell you is this bit won't be nice. It will hurt and it will feel like your body is on fire as your let the blood go through your veins - but afterwards I promise you, you will be extraordinary."
"Why did this happen to me?"
"Not everyone gets to choose what happens to them in this life, but like Leo said you embrace it." Chelsea scoffed.
"Embrace it my ass." Miss Carter chuckled.
"You are quite a character, Chelsea."
"I always get told that." She pretended to fan herself with her hand. "Now I'm guessing this is my fate." Miss Carter nodded. Chelsea lifted the blood from her legs and ripped open the top. The smell was revolting as it filled the room. "Are you sure this is safe to drink? Like it smells really bad." Miss Carter nodded. Chelsea lifted the bag to her lips and let the blood slowly move from the bag into her mouth. She sucked the blood gently and then pulled away retching at the taste. But after she swallowed the bit in her mouth, she tasted it once more, this time it tasted fine, like it was a whole new bag. She took more of the blood and finished the bag dropping it to the floor. The blood smeared around her mouth and her hunger was satisfied.
"Now you'll feel a bit of pain." Miss Carter spoke and a few seconds later the pain started in the bottom of her gums and all around to the top.
"Oh my god! What is going on?" Chelsea screamed as she felt like someone was cutting her teeth out with a knife.
"These are your fangs coming through." Chelsea cried out as teeth started to emerge from her gums, they were sharp and as she touched it, the tip of her finger sliced open but immediately closed up. She got up from the floor and looked at herself in the mirror. She gasped as black veins appeared underneath her eyes. Miss Carter stood up and Chelsea turned around to face her.
"What is happening to me?" Chelsea sobbed as the pain had finally settled but the veins were still under her eyes and the fangs were still down in her mouth.
"This is what happens when you near blood, it's just your body's way of saying "I need to feed." The stronger the blood you are near the more you want it. This is only bad right now because where you have just completed the transition. Now to get rid of your 'Scary face'" Miss Carter signed quotation marks around the work 'scary face'. "You need to breath in and push the thought of blood to the back of your mind, like this." Miss Carter slowly brought down her fangs and the veins similar to Chelsea's appeared underneath her eyes. "You need to breath, and if it helps count along with your breathes and it will work. Do the same as me." Miss Carter told Chelsea to close her eyes and breath, Chelsea counted and felt as the fangs slowly lifted up and disappeared and the veins that were once there had vanished. She turned around and looked at herself in the mirror and saw as she looked like her old self, just a little bit different. Her cheek bones seemed a little bit higher than before and her lips and cheeks were fuller more.  "Well done Chelsea."
"Is that it? No more pain?" Miss Carter shook her head. "So what do I do now?"
"Go about your life as you wish. I would be happy to take you on as a pupil here at Lady Meyers or you can do what you wish. I strongly suggest you stay here for a least a few months or longer but I won't force you. If you need to leave I won't stop you."
"I suppose I need to go apologise to Isabelle. I was so horrible to her."
"Don't take it personally Chelsea. Isabelle knows about transitioning and the things it does to you. That was just a side effect I wouldn't worry too much about it. Isabelle knows about that, as she went through it herself." Chelsea thought about it and realised when they were in school, that day when she was horrible to her and was snappy. It was because she was transitioning, yet all them months ago she knew nothing about the world she was now apart of.

Chelsea walked through the halls, looking around the school. She had to still think about what to do with herself, whether to go back to her old life and start afresh as a vampire or start completely new in the school. She walked along towards where everyone was heading and walked into the canteen, the room was full of chatter and everyone was sitting with someone. She stood out in the middle of the crowds and she hated the feeling of people staring at her. She walked up to one of the ladies and took a few blood bags before leaving the room quickly. After walking back into Isabelle's room she sat down in the middle of the floor, she ripped open one bag and guzzled it down, letting the blood slide down her throat and then ripping another one. She hissed as her fangs came down and she could slightly feel as the veins appeared on her face, as she indulged herself in the blood. She became aggressive and as she fed the blood spilled down her chin and onto her clothes, soaking her t-shirt in the warm crimson liquid. Her head shot up and she looked towards the door when Isabelle stepped through the door, she gasped as she saw her friend lose control. "Chelsea!" Isabelle spoke and shut the door behind her. "What are you doing?" Chelsea growled as she ripped through the bag and then quickly moved to the corner of the room when Isabelle tried to approach her. "Chelsea give me the bag. Come on now, you need to gain control of the bloodlust."
"No. Leave me." Chelsea spoke as she split open another bag and Isabelle grabbed the bag from her hands which caused her to jump up and go after the bag. Her nostrils flared as the anger took control becoming her main emotion. "Give that back!" She growled, stepping forward.
"Chelsea, I think you've had another." She held up one of her hands, as a signal to stop but Chelsea ignored her.
"No you don't get to decide for me. I choose, and I am still hungry." The blood dripped from Chelsea's mouth as she spoke and it dripped onto her clothes once again as she kept growling.
"You need to learn to control." Isabelle said once again and threw the bag onto the floor. Chelsea hissed and jumped towards her, throwing Isabelle against the wall. Luckily the walls were thick, otherwise with the amount of power Chelsea had Isabelle would've been through the wall and out in the hallway. Chelsea bared her fangs and the veins became prominent under her eyes. Isabelle watched as Chelsea turned into the monster before her, blood made certain people like that. Chelsea grabbed onto Isabelle's neck choking her, she could feel as her bones clicked. With one huge kick she managed to push Chelsea off of her, but not for long before she was standing there, her eyes a deep black now and her stance as she stood was ready to fight. "Chelsea calm down." She heard her laugh menacingly, before she edged a little more closer. "I haven't got a choice..." Isabelle quickly moved from her spot, put both of her hands on each side of Chelsea's neck and snapping it, letting her fall to the floor in a heap. Isabelle pushed her hair away from her face and turned around to see Leo standing at the door, holding a few bags of blood and Isabelle breathed out a deep sigh and shook her head looking at him.
"I'm guessing this was a bad time?" He shrugged his shoulders and closed the door as he walked into the room.

A few hours later, Chelsea fluttered her eyes open and rubbed her neck. As she sat up, she looked around. The floor had blood stains from where she was laying all the way towards the wall opposite her. Chelsea raised her head and saw Isabelle sitting in the chair at her desk with her head in her hands. "Iz? You alright?" She spoke gently as her throat throbbed. "I'm sorry about earlier." Isabelle waved her hand towards her and sniffed, Chelsea got up from the floor and moved over to her, crouching down next to Isabelle. She didn't even need to hold on to anything, since turning everything she could do before was even better, not even needing to hold onto anything to stop her falling down. "Izzy, what's wrong? Tell me."
"It's Leo."
"What's happened?" Isabelle looked up from her hands and looked at Chelsea's face. The tears slowly trickling down her face, Chelsea wiped them and held her hands. "Come on tell me."
"We had a fight."
"About what?" Chelsea smiled gently, trying to encourage Isabelle to talk.
"I've decided to leave Lady Meyer's for a while, to go travelling. Get my mind off everything for a little bit, which I have thought about since I turned nearly a year ago I never thought I would fall in love with Leo or anyone for that matter. Anyways, so I told him my plans and he lost it."
"Why?"
"He said I wasn't thinking about him or us. He pretty much said he didn't want to leave yet he didn't take into account that I wanted to leave. So we had a fight."
"So what's happened between you?"
"He stormed out and slammed the door leaving me without another word and I know I'm not stupid but I'm pretty sure it's over between us." Isabelle started to cry again.
"He's just mad Izzy, he'll get over it. He is a boy after all, meaning he can and will be very stubborn."
"No, not this time Chels... We've had rows before... But this one was different." Chelsea didn't know what to but slowly shrug her shoulders and gave Isabelle a warm, reassuring smile.
