They made their way through the tunnels in silence after the story. Dread filled the air at what would wait at Vision's palace. With one crystal destroyed, the group could only hope they could save the other two. Unicorn was not sure what would happen if the other two crystals break. Would father punish them for not keeping the gifts safe? She had not seen or heard from her father in a long time. She was taken out of her thoughts when the group paused before a door. It was time.

"No time like the present," Tiger told them and then burst through the door.

"Tiger, wait! We have to be sneaky-"

But he was not listening, with the boy on his back they disappeared through the maze of hallways leaving the others behind. Wolf growled before the rest followed as well. Groups that were settling inside the palace to hide from the Plants screamed and fled when all Three Keepers trampled through. Blankets, food and other items were scattered across the floor as they got closer to the head of the throne.

"I can feel the power of the crystal. We are getting closer," Wolf yelled to Tiger. Tiger must have felt his crystal too because he ran faster. Unicorn wished she could feel her crystal but all she felt was emptiness. The look on the villagers' faces showed no sign of happiness or health as they were used to. The food appeared to show signs of decay and some faces were red and tired. Their eyes pleaded for help, but she was useless in helping them.

Looking away she pushed forward and left them behind.

Tiger charged through the double doors where Wolf said the crystal energy was the strongest. There in their hands were the blue and yellow crystals. The rebels jumped in shock at the sight of them. Tiger stalked around to the exit blocking them from escaping.

"Leave the crystals alone and then you can leave with no punishment," Wolf told them. Her posture tall and noble and her head held high. Her eyes had turned a glowing blue as the crystal pulsed blue, similar to Tiger's yellow.

"No can do. These belong to us now. These crystals were always meant for us. You know that."

The boy turned to his father and said, "The crystal were meant for us but look at the damage that has been caused by us. The Plants managed to take Health crystal and now people are sick, and nature is dying. We were never meant to truly have them without guidance."

His father's face twisted in anger at his words, but his anger was towards the Keepers. "What have you done to my son? You have corrupted his mind with false information!"

"No father, they did not!" he interrupted. "I know what happens if we take these crystals for ourselves. We cannot handle this power alone. It will get us killed; the Plants will hurt us!"

The girl gasped as the yellow crystal began to become dimmer. "The Bravery crystal!"

"The crystal is losing its magic!" Unicorn stated.

On cue, Tiger leaped forward towards the crystal. However, he fell short as an electric barrier that was placed around them. The leader ordered the others to attack, and they ran past their defense barrier. Their weapons had been upgraded from the usual swords and guns to more advanced weapons that were normally used to attack the Plants.

"All this bad energy is going to attract the Zombie Plants," Wolf yelled over the humans. However, they did not listen. They swiped and shot at the Keepers but with two kids on their backs it made it hard not to get hit in order to protect them.

"Wolf, what do we do?" the girl screamed as her body was pressed against her fur. Unicorn could see the fear in her face that was more present than when they fought the Plants. No child should see her people fight against anything but bad. Unicorn knew she needed to get to the leader to stop the fight. He needed to see what he was doing was wrong.

With wings spread she took off. The power and might of her wings knocked some of the rebels off their feet. Shouts and cries to take her out were heard, and she dodged the nets and blasts that came her way. She dove towards the leader and snatched him from the ground as he tried to run.

"Hey! Put me down this instant!" he ordered. His fist swung at her face, but she pushed forward. She flew him towards the ceiling and out the open glass window, and onto the roof. Only then did she let him go. He wobbled at the height of the drop and tried to steady his feet. He gritted his teeth and tried to go in for another punch.

Unicorn kicked her hoof into his stomach, and he flew backwards and landed on his butt. "Stop fighting me! I need to show you something."

"Show me what exactly?" he asked her with a frown. His coat pocket glowing blue when he pulled it tighter to his chest. Just as she thought, with the loss of the Health crystal, the harsh winter winds were stronger at the top of the palace.  Unicorn motioned for him to look out at the town, and he did. His face dropped at the sight.

Screams, blood and destruction covered the once beautiful glass road. Fear had gathered any Zombie Plants that were nearby, and they attacked the defenseless people. Anyone that had the natural ability to fight did but their moves were sloppier than before with the Bravery crystal fading. It was a blood bath.

"No. No! No!" he cried, his hands on his face. He glanced at the battle that was taking place on the inside. His rebels' moves were powerless, and fatigue showed in their movements. Some had already fallen and laid on the ground in defeat. "No! Please you have to help me fix this. I thought... I thought..."

Unicorn stood unmoving. Her kind features were gone and were replaced with a stoic expression. Her stare pierced his pleading eyes and he stuttered, "I thought ... if we had the stones, we would be stronger, smarter and healthier. Everyone would be able to take care of themselves. Maybe even destroy the Plants once and for all. I didn't think this would happen."

"But it did," Unicorn told him. Her face showed no sign of sympathy. She pawed at his coat jacket and the two watched as the crystals fell out. The once yellow crystal was completely transparent. She towered over him and simply asked, "Now what are you going to do to fix this?"

"I... I don't know, Almighty Unicorn."

"You're going to have to if you want to save these people."
