It was a typical chaotic day in the Triplts' LA kitchen. The trio was up to their usual antics, loud, energetic, and just as playful as ever. The camera was rolling as Nick, Chris, and Matt set up for the day's video. They had decided, on a whim, to bake a cake from scratch—because, why not?
"Hey guys, welcome back to our channel!" Nick grinned as he turned the camera toward himself, his voice already booming. "Today, we're going to be baking a cake! From scratch! So, let's get started!"
The kitchen was alive with chatter, clattering pans, and the unmistakable sound of playful bickering. Chris and Nick were being loud as usual, poking fun at each other and messing around while they gathered ingredients. Matt, though, seemed slightly amused by the commotion, already anticipating what was coming next.
As the noise escalated, Matt turned to the camera with a knowing grin. "By the way, guys," he said, voice loud enough to cut through the ruckus, "we get a ton of comments asking how Yn sleeps through all of this. I mean, how does she not wake up with all the noise?"
The camera shifted to Matt, who motioned for the others to follow him. With a mischievous smirk, he led them to the living room, where Yn was curled up on the couch, fast asleep.
"Alright, here we go," Matt whispered. "Watch this."
The guys crowded around Yn, careful not to wake her up just yet. Chris couldn't help himself, though, and tapped her lightly on the shoulder. Nothing. She didn't even stir.
"See? Nothing," Matt said, turning back to the camera with a satisfied look. Nick took his turn and tapped her, too. Still, Yn remained completely oblivious.
Matt raised an eyebrow, "Okay, now watch this." He walked over to Yn, leaned down, and gave her a soft tap on the shoulder. Instantly, her eyes fluttered open, and she blinked at him, clearly still half asleep.
"Matt, what do you want? I was sleeping," she mumbled, her voice thick with sleep.
Matt chuckled, leaning in a bit closer. "Did you hear us yelling or being loud?"
Yn gave him a confused look, then shook her head. "No, I sleep through everything. I once slept through a fire drill." She yawned, as if that was a normal thing to say.
Matt raised his eyebrows, incredulous. "Seriously?"
"Yep," she replied, her voice still groggy. "Now let me go back to sleep." With a small sigh, she pointed to her lips, a silent request.
Matt leaned in and gave her a quick peck, then whispered, "Okay, go back to sleep."
Yn smiled faintly, her eyes already closing again. "Thanks, babe," she murmured, snuggling back into the couch as if the chaos around her didn't exist.
Matt turned back to the camera, grinning wide. "See, guys? She doesn't care at all." He gave the camera a dramatic shrug. "She can sleep through anything."
As the camera zoomed out, Nick and Chris, still laughing at the scene, reentered the kitchen, continuing their loud banter like nothing had happened.
Yn, meanwhile, drifted back to sleep, her peaceful expression the perfect contrast to the madness around her. And the Triplet's? Well, they wouldn't change a thing.
After the little demonstration, Matt grinned and turned off the camera. He gave his friends a nod, signaling that the impromptu segment was done. The boys were still laughing and joking around in the kitchen, but Matt had something else in mind.
With a soft sigh, he glanced at Yn, who was already slipping back into her peaceful slumber. The sound of the boys' laughter was like background noise to her, completely irrelevant as she drifted back to sleep. Matt, however, wasn't about to let her stay there on the couch. He knew she needed rest, and their bed was much more comfortable for the both of them.
Quietly, he walked over and kneeled next to her, his fingers brushing through her hair as he gently whispered her name. "Yn... babe... time to wake up."
She stirred a little, her eyes cracking open, her sleepy gaze meeting his. "Matt? What's going on?"
"Let's go to bed, sweetheart," he said softly, offering her a hand to help her up. "You're gonna be more comfortable in our room."
Yn yawned, rubbing her eyes as she slowly sat up. "Mmm, but the couch is so comfy," she mumbled, clearly not fully awake yet.
Matt chuckled and gently lifted her up, cradling her as if she were weightless. "I know, but you'll be even more comfy in our bed. Plus, I think the noise might be a bit too much for you out here."
"Yeah, you're probably right," she muttered, her voice thick with exhaustion. "It's like they're never gonna stop yelling."
Matt smiled at the mention of the boys' constant energy. They were always loud, always in their own world, never really thinking about how their noise affected anyone else. But Yn, she was different. She could sleep through the chaos like it was nothing, which Matt found both amusing and impressive.
He carried her down the hallway, careful not to wake her further. She rested her head against his chest, her eyes closing again as she relaxed into his hold. When they reached their shared bedroom, Matt gently set her down on the bed, tucking the covers around her.
"Alright, go back to sleep," he whispered, brushing a lock of hair away from her face.
Yn mumbled something in response, a soft smile appearing on her lips as she snuggled into the warmth of the blankets. Matt chuckled again and climbed into bed beside her, pulling her closer to him. He wrapped his arms around her, finding the perfect rhythm to fall asleep, knowing that the world outside their room would keep on spinning, loud and chaotic as always—but for now, he had her, and that was all that mattered.
As Matt closed his eyes, the sound of the boys' laughter still echoed faintly from the kitchen, but inside their bedroom, there was only peace. With Yn nestled against him, he finally allowed himself to drift off, knowing that even in the most chaotic of times, they could always find their calm together.
