After awhile Vee was able to get some new accessories to cover up where she couldn't change into Craigs form. "Is this it?"Vee asked looking around as she held the compact mirror Craig was inside. "I just go in and ask about that witch from the paper?"Vee asked Craig, "Yes! Maybe they still have one of her enchanted pastries"Craig guessed but later looking up at Vee seeing her ears were sticking out the cat winter hat "Ah! Ears! Ears!"Craig pointed out pointing to his ow, Vee noticed this and quickly covered her ears with her hat and walked inside the cafe.

Vee tried sniffing around for magic, until the barista at the front desk greeted her. "Hello! What can I get cha'?"The barista asked "Have any um...magical old ladies left enchanted items here...?"Vee awkwardly asked the barista. The barista did an annoyed expression and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Ugh...You're not friends with that witch obsessed guy right? I told him to stop leaving pamphlets here!"The barista said annoyed. "Actually I'm asking about, her"Vee said pointing to the picture of Tabitha from up above.

"Oh, Kaitlyn...Yeah she tried to pay for a latte with a live raccoon a couple months ago but when we called the cops she did something weird up the croissants, we threw them in the trash but well, now we have a whole new problem..."The barista sighed remembered the trouble Tabitha caused a few months ago.

After that Vee walked out the cafe, she began sniffing for some magic around the place but nothing. "I don't smell any magic..."Vee sighed,  until some rats came from the inside of a dumpster. "We desire more!"The rats said, "Cool, talking rats maybe they know something!"Craig said from inside the compact mirror, but Vee felt the opposite about the rats and ran away in fear.

"Vee? Is everything alright?"Craig asked when Vee was done running away from the rats that scared her, "Oh yeah...I-I just don't like confintion..."Vee nervously said. "Oh, well that's okay I'm sure theres someone else thats seen Tabitha, *Gasp* There!"Craig said referring to the Ninja kids by a nearby tree with some cards from the boiling isles.

"Hexs holem cards! Tabitha got rid of all her decks...I was wondering where they went"Craig commented, Vee took a sniff but felt nothing. "Well, they must have run out of magic I don't smell anything"Vee said. "But maybe they know where to get more, okay don't worry I know them they're creek kids, let me explain them-"Craig tried to say but Vee seemed to feel sure about the Ninja kids. "Actually these guys are cool"Vee said walking towards the Ninja kids which caused Craig some slight panic.

Vee then sat down in front of the Ninja kids as they played with the cards, Vee hid Craig from the Ninja kids views but he couldn't help but cringe. "Ah! She's going to embarrass herself I can't watch!"Craig cringed covering his eyes.

"Oh, hey Craig"Yustice said, Craig uncovered his eyes and looked at what was actually going on. "Good to see you out of prison"Yustice asked thinking she was talking to Craig, "C'mon! Camp wasn't that bad!"Vee said.

"Camp?"Craig said remembering the reality check camp his mother wanted to send him to after he went overboard with a school project. "We did have the best cabin! Cabin 7!"Vee said shouting a bit for loudly with the Ninja kids at the last bit. Vee then looked down at the cards Yustice sat down when Vee made her joke, you'd assume that while Vee was pretending to be Craig she seemed to have formed a stronger bond with the Ninja kids as Craig. "Cool cards, where do you get them-?"Vee tried to ask reaching her hand towards them but Yustice slipped away the cards from Vee.

"Uh-Uh, let me give you a reading first I want to practice"Yustice winked holding the cards then set them up for Vee, it didn't take her long to be finished and actually sat the cards down for Vee to read. "You're running from your past, from a previous life that was not kind to you however the guilt and fear you carry will eventually catch you in a self full-filling prophecy that you won't be able to escape from"Yustice spoke on a spine chilling tone then made Vee clutch the compact mirror tightly shaking slightly.

"You're gonna need come bath bombs, man! Anyways, I got the cards over at the Herkleston historical society"Yustice said pointing to the building, Vee did a sad look and got up walking to the building. "Thanks, I'll see you around"Vee sighed sadly walking off.

When Vee got inside the building, she began sniffing but the dust inside the room made her sneeze, catching the attention of someone else. "Is it that dusty in here?"The man that was originally sweeping the place greeted, "Welcome to the Herkleston historical society, let me guess you're here to buy those weird cards right?".

"How did you know?"Vee asked walking towards the man, "Well they've been really popular with kids, yeah I saw a weird woman tried to dump them in a river awhile back but I brought them off her instead. Really odd though, she kept asking for snails, you want a set?"The man asked Vee, "Yes please!"Vee smiled politely at the man happinesses flickering inside her she may have found some magic. "Great, It'll just be a minute, so feel free to look around"The man said then went into a back room for the cards that Vee requested for.

When Vee was finally alone, she walked up to a mirror on the wall with a sad expression. Craig noticed this and moved to the inside of the mirror, "Are you okay?"Craig asked Vee from inside the mirror. "Hey, forget what Yustice said! I know what it's like to run away from home, I did the same thing!-"Craig tried to say but Vee interrupted him. "You and I are not the same! You have a mom that loved you, you had a home love you had it good! But you still wanted to run away, I...I didn't have a choice..."Vee said with her voice cracking and tears forming in her eyes.

"My real name is Number 5...I'm a basilisk and technically I shouldn't exist..."Vee sighed now with her hat off. She explained that her kind got extinct a long time ago but were brought back, because the coven wanted to know how they drained magic. Some were able to escape but Vee knew it was only a matter of time before Emperor Xavier found them again and meant everyone apart of his coven repeat history. But when she saw Craig she realized maybe there was a way out of demon realm and everyone else trying to find her and the other basilisks that escaped, once Vee made her way into the human realm as she was looking around she heard Nicole calling out for Craig. Out of panic she took the form of Craig to avoid Nicole from seeing her natural appearance. Vee said she never meant to 'play pretend' as Craig but Nicole was nice to her along with her husband and two other kids.

"I resent you for running away, but I'm also thankful that you did...I don't know...It's confusing..."Vee sighed putting her hat back on, until Vee began to smell something from afar. "Do you smell something?"Vee mumbled then turned around to the staff room where the smell was coming from. Vee then walked into the staff room but it was too dark for her to see, "Where's the light?"Vee mumbled slapping her palm on the wall for the light switch until she finally found it and the light turned on.

But when the lights were finally on, the room revealed it be filled with items that seemed to be against magic, a few weapons, walls covered in newspapers about witches and even a little witch doll that was about to be beheaded.

In horror, Vee began backing up. "What is all this...?"Vee said but accidentally backed up by mistake into a large computer showing some security footage of her in her basilisk form and other things. "Have we been followed this whole time?!"Vee shouted in disbelief not believing that her on the security footage. Vee then tried to run out the room but her leg went through a laser line for security, causing a trap to be set off and putting her in cage, in the process Vee accidentally dropped the compact mirror Craig was inside and the glass was shattered.

"Vee? Vee?! VEE!"Craig screamed at the cube that lead him to seeing Vee, Craig gulped and went into another item in the room Vee was in. Craig could tell panic was starting to take over Vee quickly and the panic caused Vee to go back to natural appearance. Craig wanted to help Vee, but the door was opening so Craig fled away to another object that was hidden.

"Whoa it worked, I can't believe it...Are you real?"The same man that said he was gonna Vee the cards said putting a stick towards the cage Vee was in, but Vee slapped it away in fear. "After all this time, after setting up all those traps I finally caught a living breathing demon!"The man cheered in joy while Craig listened in, "Oh don't be surprised, a few years back I had an encounter with another one of your kind, yeah at first I couldn't believe what I saw but after watching a few YouTube videos I learned the truth..."The man said.

"Witches and demons are real"The man smiled unpleasantly with his arms crossed staring down at Vee, Craig gasped in fear knowing what that might lead to. "And they're all sent from Mars to harvest human teeth to power their time machine!"The man accused pointing his index finger to Vee, Craig then inhaled trying not to say anything but deep down he was already thinking of ways to prove how ridiculous he sounded. "You don't actually know anything about us, do you?"Very said, "Oh I know enough, I'll expose your vale plans online and finally get my account verified"The man said just before turning his back to walk off. "Get comfortable, demon. Cause you'll be in cages for the rest of your life".

And with that, the man had walked out the door. "Don't worry, Vee we can get out of this"Craig said once the man was gone, "Go back to the demon realm, Craig..."Vee sighed in defeat. "Huh?" "Even if I get out he knows what my disguise looks like he'd out me to Nicole and it would cause her more trouble than if you just disappeared..."Vee sighed looking away from Craig.

"Vee! You're giving up too quick!"Craig said, "I'm being realistic, it's ok I'm used to living like this, goodbye Craig..."Vee sighed, "No!-"Craig tried to scream before Vee used her tail to break the glass Craig was in.

The cube broke when Vee shattered the glass, "Ah!"Craig shouted when the cube was now broken, "Vee! Vee! Number 5! Number 5!"Craig screamed hoping to get a new cube that can get him to Vee but no cubes raised up. Until, Craig realized he might need to make need a certain someone in order to get Vee out. "Nicole Williams..."Craig sighed, and a cube to Nicole raised up out of the lake floor. Craig tapped the cube that took him to Nicole hoping to get the reaction from her he wanted.

Craig knew the only way now to get Vee out was Nicole, he knew his dad may not believe him, Bernard wouldn't listen and let Vee be in a cage claiming she was dangerous and Jessica was too young so Nicole was the only option. When Craig tapped the cube, it put him in a her cell phone but Craig was just glad he could be with Nicole. "Mom! Are you there?"Craig called out to Nicole, luckily that caught Nicole's attention quickly and she turned around to her cell phone. "Huh? Craig, I didn't even hear you call"Nicole said, "Mom, it's so good to hear your voice..."Craig sighed in relief "Oh, It's good to hear you too, what's wrong?"Nicole asked picking up her phone.

"I found out who's been setting up those traps, and he's hurting a friend of mine...But I have to tell you the truth about the last few months..."Craig sighed hoping he wouldn't get in trouble. "Let me tell you about a place called the boiling isles..."Craig said. Craig then explained where he has been for the last few months, Craig of course didn't want to do it but he had to.
