Jason's eyes widen at what Xavier said, "Buddy?"Jason said. Xavier nodded and smiled in a way that made Jason wanna punch him in the mouth, "I'm promoting you to buddy, buddy!"Xavier repeated putting his palm on Jason's shoulder in hopes of looking friendly to Jason. Jason hated Xavier's touch, he was only going along with it to get information on this side. Jason never expected to be promoted to buddy so quickly, but it overjoyed him cause that meant he had earned Xavier's trust. "Thank you"Jason said then walked off with his pen and clipboard.

Xavier watched Jason walk away, it made him happier seeing Jason happy. He wouldn't admit how he loved him, but he liked Jason in his own way. A twisted way. "You gonna tell him or leave him?"Maya asked next to Xavier when Jason was standing far away talking to Keun Sup. "I'll tell him sooner or later, Maya"Xavier said then turned around to walk off, he spotted acorn knights who looked jealous with Jason being promoted quicker than them when they had a wait almost a year or more. But, they couldn't say anything to Xavier or Jason.

Time skip

The royal sleepover came, Jason and the champions were already at Xavier's front door waiting for him to answer after Jason knocked on the door. Xavier answered with joy Jason found annoying but kept his mouth curled up into the smile he didn't know Xavier loved. Just when Jason was in his train of thought, Xavier walked up to him. "You sure you packed enough stuff in there, Jason? You're sleeping over not moving in"Xavier teased wrapping his arm around Jason and his large backpack.

He didn't like how Xavier was touching his stuff but he once again pretended he didn't, he didn't want Xavier to take his 'teasing' too far and snoop through Jason's backpack to find Craig in there. "Oh, a scout always comes prepared"Jason lied.

As the sleepover went on, Xavier watched Jason play power punchers with Keun Sup. Xavier wanted to appeal well to Jason so he kept egging him on during his playing, eventually he took trying to look good in front of Jason too far and stole Jason's victory just when he was close to winning. Xavier thought that was just him looking good but Jason thought the opposite. He had never won a game of power punchers so Xavier stealing his win was almost the last straw but then he remembered his job to get information on this side and didn't make a big scene.

Time Skip

Everyone else was sleeping by now. Expect for Xavier, he couldn't really sleep and didn't feel like sleeping, it was 2:50am and he still didn't wanna sleep. Mainly cause of Craig's proposal to the capture the flag war. Then he thought of Jason, turned to the opposite side asleep in his sleeping bag with Maya and the champions. Xavier blinked before getting closer to Jason, hovering over him somewhat. Xavier didn't even do anything, he just sat there watching Jason sleep not making a sound. This went on without Jason's knowledge for a whole 20 minutes before Xavier finally fell asleep.

Time Skip

There Xavier sat in his bean bag chair with his drones. A few months passed after his defeat in capture the flag, now his views on the creek changed and he thought it was for only 'children' and too childish for him. But one thing that didn't change about Xavier was his view on Jason, despite turning out to be a spy for his side. He still couldn't let Jason go, he still thought of Jason and he remembered at the royal sleepover when Jason woke up to use the bathroom and Xavier stole a blond hair strand that was left on his pillow. Ever since then, Xavier kept it and no one knows he did that. "Maybe I can give Jason a chance to redeem himself..."Xavier thought to himself looking at one of his drones.

The next day, Xavier got one of his drones and made them go to the creek until he saw Jason talking to Craig, he had forgotten to add a mircophone to hear what was being said so Xavier just watched Jason. He thought of how cute Jason's blushing looked, but hated how it wasn't due to him. And have Craig being there to see it up close on top of that made Xavier angrier. "One day, you'll be mine and you can help me forget about your backstabbing..."Xavier said now making his drone return to him.

A month later

Xavier glared at the tied up Jason squirming in the ropes Xavier tied around his wrists and ankles. "Should I have duct taped his mouth?"Xavier thought to himself staring at Jason his gaze being less mean and cruel, Jason looked towards him like he was gonna bite Xavier's face off. But Jason's razor sharp gaze just made Xavier search his pockets for duct tape only to see he had forgotten it, "Darn...You're lucky I forgot the duct tape, but don't start thinking you can have a smart mouth"Xavier said getting his hands out his pockets.

"Xavier, why are we in the maze?! We beat you months ago, get over it! You're not a king!"Jason said now sitting up. "I put you here so you'd have a chance to redeem yourself after what you did, you're lucky I'm giving you another chance"Xavier spoke now in front of Jason. Jason raised an eye brow in confusion, redeem himself? If his memory was correct, he never thought him and Xavier were close despite Xavier making him a buddy so fast but Jason never figured he'd be close to Maya's status or be viewed as a best friend. Now that he thought of it, shouldn't Maya be the one Xavier is giving a second chance to?

"Another chance? Xavier, I don't need that!"Jason said "These children why gotten you brainwashed, *Sighs* You don't even know what you need...Jason, why haven't you picked it up sooner?"Xavier gridded his teeth. "I'm in love with you, don't you see? I want you to know what you need! I'm the only person you should want, your dad and step mom don't even know you're in this maze! Even if they knew they wouldn't care, but I would, I could give you so much I'll hold your hand so hard you'll feel like your bones are popping like Poppin' pebbles...Name someone who could give you all that, that Craig kid wouldn't give you that!".

Jason glared at Xavier, in fear, anger and emotions he couldn't name. Xavier loving him disturbed him, like a spider was in his mouth and it was crawling all over the inside. He knew how bad Xavier is, so imagining him in a relationship was scary to him, let alone he's the one Xavier was longing for. "I'm not talking to myself, Jason"Xavier glared annoyed at the fact Jason wasn't giving an answer "Who are you fooling? You're not answering cause you know it's true..."Xavier rolled his eyes.

Jason blinked, he didn't know what to say or do. He was never fond of Xavier, Jason already had a answer but he knew his answer would get him in deep trouble. Jason already had someone he wanted to hold hands with, but it wasn't Xavier, but Craig Williams. "Maybe you'll have an answer the next day..."Xavier said then walked off from Jason, panic struck him seeing Xavier walking away. "Xavier! You can't just leave me here! Xavier let me free!"Jason yelled with his lisp showing, this was probably the only time Jason didn't care.

Eventually Xavier was out of sight and Jason just laid on his back with his knees slightly up and bent. He just stared at the never ending afternoon sky, he was alone in this maze. The silence irritated Jason and he couldn't do anything besides stare up at the sky.

Time skip

Jason sat on the ground, his posture not very good, now Jason was just staring at a ladybug in the ground. He didn't know what time it was, but he was insanely bored and anxious. But he felt his eyes get heavy and he was blinking more and was going to lean forwards. Until he heard something, it wasn't Xavier, but Craig. "Jason!"Craig shouted, Jason seeing how Craig's speed was increasing when he came. "Craig!"Jason cheered turning his head to Craig who was running towards him at full speed while Jp and Kelsey were trying to keep up.

"H-How did you find me...?"Jason said no longer feeling tired now that Craig was here, "Well, some creek kid said that they say Xavier drag you here, they couldn't do stop him alone so..."Craig said then stopped at the end for Jp and Kelsey continue his sentence "We called the whole squad to come defend you from Xavier!"Jp and Kelsey said in perfect unison. "I'm talking, Maya, Omar, the champions, trust us when we say we got the whole squad over here, so, you want me to say who?"Craig teased at the last part. "Well, if you promise me you'll take these ropes off me..."Jason smiled softly showing Craig his tied up wrists and ankles.

Craig got a pair of sharp scissors and carefully cut the ropes, successfully not cutting Jason's skin. Jason admired his free wrists and ankles, "Thank you!"Jason cheered grabbing onto Craig's hand in excitement that made Craig blush. "Y-yeah..."Craig swallowed staring at Jason's lips, he couldn't help but wonder what would have happened if he kissed them 'Screw it'Craig thought to himself leaning his lips towards Jason's cheek until they touched. Jason's excitement paused and he looked Craig in the eye flustered and his cheeks red. Seeing Jason's excitement fade made Craig feel like that was the wrong move.

"Uh...S-Sorry, I wasn't-"Craig tried explained but Jason moved his hand to Craig's cheek to make Craig look Jason in the eye and his other on Craig's shoulder. Staring straight into Craig's eyes and kissing him now closing his eyes. Craig was surprised but kissed back and put him hands Jason's sides. "Didn't we come here to recuse Jason, not watch them kiss?"Kelsey recalled but Jp took his hands out of his sleeves to hush Kelsey. "Hush, it's the love story of the century"Jp silenced.

But the kiss was cut short when there was an angry yell from behind the five. "That kiss...Was suppose to be for me!"Xavier yelled in anger, his teeth gridding and his blood boiling seeing he was not Jason's first kiss. Kelsey quickly got out her sword despite the kids called to come, Xavier lunged towards Craig and Jason with his fist out for a punch but his fist was blocked when he saw Keun Sup had quickly ran to block his punch by grabbing his fist. "The Blur?"Xavier said seeing Keun Sup again. Then, Omar, Jackie, Aggie, Maya and the honeysuckle rangers finally came out the shadows. "We got the whole squad on this recuse mission, Xavier! These kids aren't afraid of you anymore!"Craig shouted from the crowd of kids now surrounding Xavier. But Omar and Maya's looks were more angry, Omar had his bow and arrow and Maya had her bat ready to hit Xavier with. "You're lucky I couldn't find any nails to put in this bat..."Maya threatened when she made eye contact with Xavier.

At that moment, Xavier knew, he was screwed. "Let's sneak out while Xavier's dealing with everyone"Jp whispered to Craig, "Good idea"Craig smirked seeing the former other side kids already fighting Xavier. "Let me at him!"Shawn shouted as Craig, Kelsey, Jp and Jason rushed out the maze. Craig and Jason walked out holding hands the whole time ignoring the angry yelling back at the maze.

"You think he'll be dead by the time they're done with him? They looked mad"Jason joked when he alone with Craig, "Probably not, but Xavier will definitely leave you alone after this"Craig chuckled "Hey uh, Craig is it fine if you walk me home?"Jason asked with his hand around the back of his neck. "Of course, hey, don't worry about Xavier, it's not your fault he's like this and had the nerve to kidnap you"Craig said letting Jason hold onto Craig's hand tighter and the boyfriends walked home together.

Forgive me, but the concept of the other siders (Besides Omar) getting revenge on Xavier is a concept too funny to me.
