"Simon, would you mind moving that log over 'ere?" Garrund asked Simon, but Simon knew it meant that he had to do it.

"Okay!" Simon picked up the log and took it over to Garrund.

Simon is not your average human, in fact he isn't a human! He is a dwarf! Dwarves are known for their great strength and bravery, but lack the intelegence. But Simon is more of a, silly dwarf.

A few hours after the hunt for lumber, Simon went to the left side of the dwarf home. Over on that side was a forest where the dwarves got their lumber, but Simon didn't want more lumber, he wanted to visit the pond and fish.

As he let out his fishing pole and lit his cigar, he couldn't help but notice that a strange trail of smoke flew into the sky from another point of the forest.

"Is that a forest fire?" Simon said to himself. Being a dwarf, he decided to check on it.

When he got as close as he thought he should, he found out that there was no fire, for there was no smokey smell or fire sounds. He looked into the part of the forest that the smoke came out of, he saw another dwarf! Wait, this wasn't a dwarf, he was too tall. For Simon had done some studies on other creatures before and found out that this was a human! But from the pictures Simon had seen, humans didn't wear that kind of out fit. This guy had some kind of footsie pajama or something! So, Simon did the only thing he could have done, and he took him back to the dwarf hole.

When he entered the base, the other dwarves looked at him with puzzled faces.

"Simon, I told you ain't nobody got time to deal with you about bringing random pets from the gardens!" Dalana scolded Simon for bringing Lewis in. "Especially when they are dead!" She obviously saw how Lewis' face was covered with ash and marks of how he crashed.

But then one of the smartest residents of the dwarf hole yelled, "WAIT!"

That got everybody's attention..

"That is no dead animal or monster! It's a human!" He replied when everyone was quiet.

Every dwarf gasped except for Simon

"Where?" the person was none other than Duncan Jones, he was the smartest person alive to the dwarves. But there was something different about Duncan, he was not a dwarf, but he was a mage! "Mad scientists can be magical, too, right?" He would always say this when someone asked him why he lived with dwarves, and he loved to refer to himself as a "mad scientist".

"I found him in the forest, with a cloud of smoke coming out of him!" Simon answered as quickly as he could.

"Take him to my lab as quickly as possible. I'll be waiting." Duncan instructed Simon.

Simon ran down the stairs, through the corridor, into the kitchen, down the trapdoor, and into the lab that Duncan. had all to his own.

"Welcome to my laboratory!!" Duncan exclaimed while pressing a button that made a lightning strike noise.

Simon, never having been in his lab asked, "Is this what you work on all day?"

"This and some magic," he replied, "but that is besides the point! Here, let me take a look at this human." Duncan got out his magnifying glass and put his plastic gloves on, he was ready for the patient.

After some time of Duncan piddling around with the body, he noticed something peculiar.. He took one more glance at it and said to Simon with great despair,

"This is much too dangerous than I can handle...."
