ᴛᴑᴇɴᴛʏ-sᴇᴄᴏɴᴅ ΙͺɴᴛᴇʀᴀᴄᴛΙͺᴏɴ.

I didn't know why I was so nervous about tonight, but I was.

I hadn't heard from Harry since yesterday when he returned to his hotel, and it was the only thing in my mind.

What happened with his father?
Was everything ok?
Would he even show up to meet me?
Did he need help?

I hurried to eat dinner and excused myself with my family, running outside to get Theodore and get to the beach at eight, just like Harry said.

The sky was coloured in a beautiful shade of pinks and it was getting darker every second.
I rushed Theodore through the beach as fast as he could and in the matter of minutes I was standing in front of Harry.

"You came." - I smiled.

"Of course. I would never miss the chance of seeing you." - He said and took my hand, intertwining our fingers together. - "Want to walk?"

"Yes."

Harry pulled me by my hand and we started walking along the beach by the side of the sea with our fingers intertwined.

"So... how did everything go with your dad?"

"Uhm… fine I guess."

"You don't want to talk?"

"It's not that…" - He trailed.

"Okay Harry, you don't have to tell me." - I smiled up at him and then returned my eyes to the front, now noticing that the sun had already disappeared and the sky was full blue.

A couple of stars were already showing and the full moon was shining bright and reflecting itself on the water.

It was a perfect night for walking.

"I want to tell you." - He said and stopped walking. He pulled me down to sit with him on the sand, our feet getting slightly wet by the coming and going waves of the shore. - "I found him unconscious when I returned, he had passed out because of alcohol. I had to call an ambulance, and that drew a lot of attention to the hotel, which was what Gemma and I didn't want to happen. The penthouse was upside down, you can't imagine how much damage he left behind, and we will have to fix it all, causing us a lot of money. And then, when he finally woke up, he said he was fine, that he didn't need fixing or something like that." - Harry said with a bitter laugh.

I simply gripped tighter on his hand to give him comfort.

"I'm sure it will be fine." - I said, realizing I didn't know anything for sure.

"That's not it. When I started talking to him, asking why he would do that, he didn't recognize me, Lou. He didn't know who I was." - Harry said and I could see tears starting to form in his eyes. - "Me! I'm his son, Louis."

I moved in my place to be closer to him, wrapping my arms around his waist and pressing him to me, his head falling into my shoulder.

"Don't cry, Harry. Please." - I said, rubbing a hand on his back.

"He freaked out and tried to hit me, I called Gemma and she said I should put him on a cab and send him back to London. He couldn't be here anymore, not around me at least." - He said between sobs.

"Did you do it?" - I asked softly, feeling how he was dampening my shirt with his tears.

"A few hours ago. But I still have so much to do… he ruined everything, now I have a lot of people asking things, trying to get information out of me, I just can't deal with it all. This is not what I want for my life, Lou." - He said with a broken voice.

"I know… I know." - I whispered into his hair, caressing his back.

We stayed like that in silence for a few more minutes until I heard that he was calming down and that his sobs weren't as loud.
He separated from me a couple of inches, looking straight into my eyes, making me break inside just by seeing his red and puffy eyes.

Harry cupped my right cheek with his hand and then moved his head forward to press his lips to my other cheek, kissing it gently.

A simple cheek kiss.

It was just a kiss, but it made me tremble and race my heart beat a million miles an hour.

"I can't thank you enough for being here for me everyday." - He said softly, his hand still on my cheek, now stroking my cheekbone with his thumb.

"And I'll be here forever more." - I said and he grinned at me.

That's all I need.

I knew we were done talking about his father, and now that he wasn't crying anymore, I decided to just lay down on my back on the sand, and look up at the stars above.

He seemed to like my idea because he followed my actions, lying next to me, our sides touching.

"You were right. This place is beautiful at night." - He whispered.

Not as beautiful as you.

"I heard that." - He giggled.

"It's true though. You're beautiful."

"Louis…"

"Don't be shy… you know I'm right." - I teased.

"God, no. Lou…"

"Am I making you blush?"

"Please, stop." - He giggled again, running a hand on his face.

"Okay, I'll stop saying it. I can't stop my thoughts though. So put up with it." - I shrugged.

"Fine." - He said exasperatedly and I let out a little laugh.

I looked at his expression, knowing I had made him blush.
I smiled to myself for what I've accomplished and moved my body to rest on my side and have a full view of him.

He smiled and shifted his position as well, to be completely facing me.

"Have you had any predictions lately?"

"Yes."

"Tell me about them."

"I can't."

"Why? I'm pretty sure they include me. I have the right to know." - I teased.

Because all I see is me kissing you.

"I just can't." - He said instead.

I'll just pretend I didn't hear that.

"C'mon… don't be a meanie." - I pouted.

Oh Lord, I want to kiss that pout away.

I smiled to myself and leaned closer, pressing our foreheads together.

"What are you thinking?" - I whispered.

That I want to kiss you.

"Nothing."

"I don't think that's true."

"It is."

"You sure?" - I smirked.

"Why do you ask if you already know the answer?" - He whispered back.

"Because it is better if you say it."

I want to kiss you.

I separated my forehead from his' to look deeply into his eyes, silently challenging them to speak out loud.

"Lou…"

"Mhm?"

"I really want to kiss you."

"What is stopping you then?"

"I can't tell if it is the right move."

"Why?"

Because I don't want to lose you.

"I heard that." - I said softly. - "And let me assure you I want nothing more than to kiss you too."

"Yes?"

"Kiss me, Harry."

He bit his lips as he leaned over me, not breaking our eyes connection until the very last second when he finally pressed his lips against mine, finally joining us together as one.

He tangled his fingers with some strands of my hair, as I took a sweet grip on his neck, falling into the most wonderful feeling I've ever experienced.

And he was kissing me with so much tenderness but enthusiasm at the same time, that everything around me was spinning. I felt my insides burning, and I forgot everything else existed.
There were just me and him, under a thousand stars which were witnessing this one in a million moment.

Kissing him for the first time was like feeling new, like I was breathing again, like I was reborn.

I kissed him deeper, with more love and strength than before, getting lost in each other until we ran out of breath.
The experience of kissing him was like drowning in the ocean, and just surrendering myself to be saved by him.

And I couldn't stop myself from thinking: I've found the love of my life.

"I heard that." - He whispered against my lips with a knowing smile on his face.

"Don't judge me."

"I'd never."

I couldn't stop myself from leaning forward and connecting my lips with his' again.
He didn't complain, he kissed me back easily.
His lips fitted with mine so well, and he tasted so sweet I could feel like walking into heaven right there.

"Harry…" - I whispered as I took some distance from his lips.

"Mhm?"

"You're beautiful."

"Stop saying that." - He whispered back.

"I'm not sure I can." - I smiled.

He slid his fingers from the back of my head to my lips, he fixed his eyes on my mouth and started tracing my upper lip with his thumb down to the corner of my mouth, intensely staring at it.

"I love your smile."

"You're the one who makes me smile."

He returned his eyes up to find mine and he leaned in once more, capturing my lips in a slow but longer kiss.

"I'll remember this day forever."

"Me too." - I said.

I don't want this to end.

"Harry…"

"Mhm?" - He said with his eyes closed and his forehead now resting on my neck.

"This doesn't have to end, you know? We aren't a coincidence in our timelines, we are meant to be. I think that we both know that by now."

"It's scary though."

"Why?"

"It feels like somebody else is manipulating our lives."

I thought about his words for a second, not really knowing what to answer him.
He was kinda right.

"I think it's getting late. I don't want your family to worry, and I still have to run back." - He said, still with his head buried in my neck.

"How do you find the strength of running all the time?" - I laughed, trying to change the mood.

"You're worth it." - He said, looking up at me with his usual charming smile on his face.

I laughed quietly and shook my head.

"Okay c'mon Mr. Runner, stand up." - I said, standing up myself and wiping the sand off my body.

He followed my actions and was quick to be standing in front of me with his hands holding my hips.

I was never going to get used to that tingling and burning feeling of his hands on my body. It was magical.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Harry." - I said as I lifted my arms up, wrapping them around his neck.

He pulled me close by my hips and his lips found mine once more. I closed my eyes and let myself melt under his touch.
We found ourselves enjoying one last sweet but long kiss.

"Bye Lou." - He said into my mouth as I kept my eyes shut.

"Bye." - I said and I suddenly felt his body warmth vanished.

I opened my eyes and he was gone.
