The gym roared with applause as everyone tossed their caps in the air, cheering and thanking God (or the stars) that high school was over. Brendon and Dallon happened to be side by side, their last names were close in alphabetical order. Brendon was glad Rob Valentine had moved schools last year.

Dallon hugged him and kissed his lips, neither of them able to stop smiling.

Dallon's mother took pictures, and shook hands with Brendon's mother, who had actually shown up, to everyone's surprise. His father was nowhere to be seen, but he was used to it by that point, so he wasn't letting it bother him. After all, he had Dallon.

They were moving in to a room together for college, a few towns over. Brendon couldn't stop thinking about it as they drove towards the direction of his house, where he was hosting a graduation party. His things were already packed, because he wanted to leave as soon as possible. He was so ready to be on his own completely, away from his house and his life.

People started showing up, and soon, his house was full of kids, including Caleb.

Dallon stayed glued to Brendon's side, glaring at Caleb any time he got too close, daring him to do something. He didn't, he kept his distance, but it didn't stop him from sitting on the couch he'd held Brendon down on, and winking at him. Brendon could have thrown up.

He was refusing to let his day be ruined though, because this was graduation, he was happy. His arm was healing, he was in love, and he was happy.

Within the next week, he and Dallon drove both of their cars to their new school, because Brendon wanted to get there as soon as possible so he had time to be comfortable out of his home before classes started. And Dallon agreed because he'd do anything Brendon wanted, and he was honeslty happy to have his own place with Brendon.

It was an apartment that was just off of the campus, on the third floor of a building. It was rather nice, thanks to Brendon, and it had a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and a closet. It even had a balcony, and a pool outside.

"Let's decorate," Brendon sang, pulling Dallon through the living room and into their bedroom, before they'd even been there an hour. He'd brought posters and paintings for the walls, and a few other little things to make it seem like him. Dallon helped him hang fairy lights around, because honestly he loved the way Brendon kept things. Pretty and neat.

Brendon had painted a picture of both of their signs, and he hung it in the living room. Then he flopped onto the couch that came with the room, a silly smile on his lips.

"What?" Dallon asked, smiling as well.

"Just-" Brendon said, reaching his arms out. "C'mere."

Dallon's smile grew, and he lied down on the couch on his stomach, between Brendon's legs with his arms around his middle. Brendon ran his fingers through Dallon's hair. "I'm here in our own apartment with the person I'm in love with, I'm away from Caleb probably forever, and I'm happy."

"Well I'm happy that you're happy," Dallon said. "You wanna go to bed?"

"It's only six," Brendon said.

Dallon wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, and Brendon said, "Ohhh," realizing what he meant. "Yes, I do."

Dallon smiled and stood, pulling Brendon to his feet and towards their new bedroom. "We gotta break in the new place," Dallon said, "It's only logical."

"God," Brendon said sarcastically, rolling his eyes at Dallon.

"You don't believe in God," Dallon said, then his lips were on Brendon's, his hands on his hips as he kissed him slowly.

"I love you," Brendon said, smiling.

"I love you," Dallon repeated, pressing their foreheads together.
