Onyx concentrated as time slowed around her. A white orb formed in her talons. As her eyes snapped open, time caught up with her and she blasted the ground under the Shadow's feet. A wide, gaping hole swallowed up the Shadow. She had to think fast. It was flying back up, giving her only mere seconds to retaliate.
