~ River ~

He hugged me more tightly than he ever had before, he was warm and I felt safe. I felt a few tear drops fall on my head from him. Seán came over and rubbed my head. Suddenly, I felt calm. I stopped crying and Mark had let go of me. He held on to my forearms and asked "Why?"
"I didn't do it."

"Who did?" His eyes filled with fear, wonder and tears.

"It did. It brought me outside and tore me apart. I didn't scream, im okay."

"Okay, don't ever think about doing that."

"Not ever."

Mark looked at the huge scars all over my body. They were all bleeding, badly. I lightly smiled at him, then everything went black.
A few seconds later, I woke up in a black enviroment. There was no ground, no walls, no anything. I was floating in mid air. I tried to move and suprisingly I did. When I did, a little table appeared with a lever. It had little symbols on it. One meaning heaven and one meaning hell. Was I dead? I didn't pull anything.
When I backed away from it, a little portal formed behind me. It was Seán and Mark. Mark was holding my hand and crying. Seán was trying to calm him down. I went toward them and stepped into the portal.

I wasn't ready to die, not yet.

I woke up seconds later to see Mark crying and Seán trying to calm him down. "Mark... Seán." I tried to say but I noticed I couldn't really talk that well. Mark looked at me and sighed in relief. "Thank god, your awake. Mark was thinkin' you had died."

"I had a choice to."

"What? Mark sniffled.

"There was this lever to either to go to heaven or hell, I didn't choose anything."

"Well, its good you didn't choose anything, River." Mark chuckled.

"Yeah, any news on Honesty or the weather?"

"Honesty is doing good and no, not any updates yet."

"Thats..... bossome."

"What?" Seán questioned.

"Bossome, only true bosses say it."

"Oh.. OH... I AM THE TOTAL BOSS!"
Seán yelled and we all laughed.

"Uh huh, King Boss the third."

"Correction, the first." He said sassily.

"Oh, gotcha.'" I said giggling a little.

After a few minutes of total laughter, the doctor came in and everyone grew quiet.
"Mrs. Martinez, Mr. Fischbach, and Mr.Mcloughlin, the cause of her fainting is a major cause of blood loss. Do you know what happened? Any of you?

"Um, no not really." Mark said.

"Okay. We understand. Mrs. Martinez, do you remember what happened?"

"Uh... no." I answered. Mark and Seán looked at me, they could tell I was lying but went along with it anyways.
"Okay, well you are free to go home." He simply announced and exited the room. We all sighed in relief. "Ugh, I am so ready to get outta here." I said while taking all of the hospital equipment off me. "Me too." Seán replied while Mark nodded his head.
Suddenly, a loud 'boom' came and all the lights went out. Mark looked out the window to see that it was raining pretty hard. I suddely felt a liquid sunstance cover my body. Moments after that feeling, the loghts came back on to see that the scars where bleeding more rapidly. But, then stopped for no reason. Then, something whispered out into the air. "Periculum ... .... vindictae propter tristitiam. Nocendi." It whispered that over and over again. "Danger..." I said.
"What?" The boys said in sync. "Danger a-and sadness. Thats the only thing I can understand."

"What is it tryin' ta say?" Seán asked.

"Danger is coming -" Mark cut me off.

"The danger is hurt, the rain.... its hurt." He finished.

"Its...-"

"Its crying of danger and sadness."

We looked at eachother, his dark brown eyes was filled with fear. "Cmon." I said as we left the room.
