“No, a hero's job is far too dangerous for someone without a quirk. It's good to have dreams, but make sure they are realistic.” And with that, he left. Didn't even look back at the boy looking hopelessly staring at the ground. Just like that, his whole world started to crumble again.

He started to walk towards the edge of the building, looking down at a far drop. Suddenly, a loud explosion went off in the distance. Izuku looked towards the sound and saw smoke. He quickly made his way down to the bottom, the safe way, and started to run towards the chaos.

Once he got there, he found heroes and a crowd. He was able to catch a glimpse of the villain. It was the some sludge villain that had attacked him. He was about to go and make notes but then remembered what All Might had said. He let out a long sigh and started to walk away.

“GET OFF ME!” That voice. Izuku recognized it. Without thinking, he pushed his way through the crowd and ran towards the villain and his hostage, Bakugou. Izuku quickly thought back to his notes and took off his school bag. He used all the strength he had and threw it at the villain. Somehow, it caused the villain to loosen his grip on Bakugou. Izuku took this and tried to help him out of the thick sludge.

“TEXAS SMASH” and with that epic announcement come a sudden gust of wind which pulled apart the sludge villain. Izuku found himself lying on the floor, Bakugou next to him. The other heroes at the scene are running to help assist.

The police gathered up the villain, and paramedics checked up on Bakugou. And Izuku got scolded for getting in the way. Izuku looked towards All Might, who was being interviewed by the press

“All Might, you saw me right. Tell them I was just trying to help.” Izuku called out the hero, who turned towards him. “Look kid you just got in the way. Stop trying to prove something by being reckless. You're just going to get hurt. Be a cop kid. They get hate for taking the villains away. But it is a fine job.”

He didn't really feel anything after that. Everything just crumbled. Bakugou, of course, had to put his word in, screaming at him, saying he didn't need help. On his way back home, Bakugou once again confronted him.

“I didn't need your help shitty Deku. Stop trying to be a hero.” He looked like he wanted a response, expected one. But he got none. Izuku just looked at him and continued walking. When he got home, he got swept up into a worried hug from his mother. She cried about how she had seen the news and was so worried. Izuku just told her he was tired and went into his room.
