** Normal P.O.V. **

I opened my eyes to see I was.......in a tree? What happened? where's Niall? Hmmmm, strange. I look down to see Carter. He was curled in a ball sleeping. I jumped down and crouched besides him. I brushed his face lightly. I sat next to him waiting for him to wake. I don't know why though. I leaned my head on his and took his hand. I sighed.
"How could this happen?" I whispered. I felt him stir and I just sat there.

** Carter's P.O.V. **
I heard a faint voice in my ear; How could this happen? It seemed to say. I felt breath on me and I opened my eyes. I looked down to see someone holding my hand. I felt a weight on my right shoulder and looked to see Lexi laying next to me. I bit my lip, looking at our hands again. I saw how perfect they slipped together. Her small ones matched perfectly with mine. I interlaced our fingers and looked at her, she looked down and stiffened. She looked at me hesitantly. I looked into her eyes. She looked into my green ones, with her blue ones. My gaze flickered to her lips. I leaned towards her and she leaned towards me. Hers were soft, to my liking. I deepened the kiss and pulled her onto my lap. She tugged at hair. I pulled away and sighed.
"You don't know how long I've waited for that." I whispered, and gasped for breath.

** Normal P.O.V. **
"You don't know how long I've waited for that." He whispered his emerald eyes gleaming. I sighed and climbed off of him. He looked at me confusingly. I bit my lip.
"Your going to kill me now, aren't you?" I ask shaking. I have been strong to long. I took a step back. Pity lit up in his eyes and he got to his feet.
"I'm not going to kill you." He said walking towards me. I took another step back, and bumped into someone's chest. My breath hitched and tears streamed down my cheeks. I collapsed on my knees and started having a panic attack. I looked up to see Carter with panic on his eyes.
"Kill.....Me..." I wheezed. This was DEFINATLY not a panic attack. I coughed and sudden realization came over me.
"You......Poison......Me?" I managed to croak out. I suddenly felt light-headed and passed out.

** Carter's P.O.V. **
I watched as she collapsed. Pity stirred inside me. She is usually the strong one, the one with the ideas, plans, and how to get out of situations. I felt really bad for her. I picked her up and carried her to Alpha. I love her, I really do. But, Alpha's orders, I cant have her. I enjoyed the kiss though. I shook my head, and put her in Ryan's arms and ran away. Despite Ryan calling after me........
