I met Dallas three years ago. I havent seen him since. When we met, some things led to another. He left the next day. I havent seen him since. He left me there where i found out i was pregnant. That was the worst feeling. Knowing that i was going to be a single parent.

I ended up having a baby boy. I named him Thomas Micheal Winston. He is now three years old. The cutest little boy ever. He had my red hair and his dads blue eyes. He is really cute. I was at work at the diner when my boss said he was going to transfer me to another diner in Tulsa. He said i would get more pay there.

I thanked him and went to pack mine and Thomas' stuff. We left that night. I found a place in a small street. My friend Cherry lived in Tulsa, so she would watch Thomas for me when she could. Just because im friends with Cherry, that doesnt mean im a soc. Im clearly not if i need to work to support me and my child.

I pulled my curly red hair up into a bun as i cleaned off tables. A group of seven boys walked in. I went over to take their order. "Ok so what would you guys like....". "Sydney?", a familiar voice asked. I looked up and saw the boy that i met three long years ago. "Hey", i said. "Who is she Dal?", one of his friends asked. "Just an old friend", he answered. "Really? An old friend? Thats not how i remembered it", i said.

Before he could say anything else, i left the table. Another waitress took my place. "Syd, one man over there requested you to be there waitress", my friend waitress Sam said. "Tell him im not going to talk to him", i told her. "Alright then", Sam said. I talked to my boss a little later. I told her i needed to pick Thomas up from his 'daycare'. She agreed so i got to leave earlier.

When i turned around, my face fell. There stood Dallas and his friends, their jaws dropped. I walked past them, trying to get away. "Whos Thomas", he called. "None of your business", i yelled back. I ran from the diner and got in my car hurriedly.

Dallas' pov

"Do you know Thomas Dal?". "Who is that girl really?". "Do you actually know who she is?". "What did you do to her?". "Shut up guys!", i shouted. Everyone quieted down, waiting for me to explain.

"Yes i know her. Thats Sydney. I met her about three years ago. Me and her did some things. Then i left the next day. I havent seen her since. No, i have no idea who Thomas is", i finished. I was a little angry. Why was i angry? Its probably because this Thomas guy might have something over me.

"I have an idea who Thomas is", Pony said. "Whats your idea Pony?", i asked annoyed. How would this kid have an idea who this Thomas is? "I over heard her say daycare. You said you two did some things. Maybe Thomas is your son", Pony thought aloud. My eyes widened. I had a son? "I gotta go find her", i said. I ran outside and caught a glimpse of her red jeep.

Sydneys pov

I picked Thomas up and drove home. He was a little fussy, so i had to rock him back and forth until he fell asleep. I put him in his crib and went to make dinner for myself.

I walked back to the Curtis house. I was disappointed i didnt get to talk to Sydney. Then there was hope in my eyes. A red jeep was parked at the house next to the Curtis'. "Hey guys. I will see you later", i said. I ran over to the house and knocked on the door. I waited for a minute until she opened the door.

When she saw it was me, she tried to slam the door in my face. I stopped it quickly with my foot. She sighed and walked towards what i think was the kitchen. "Whatcha cookin?", i asked. "Food", she answered. She was a smartass. That was something i loved about her. "Whos Thomas?", i asked.

"Someone i know", she said. "Really?", i asked. She nodded. "Does he happen to be related to me?". She stopped and turned to look at me. "What are you talking about?", she asked. Shes playing dumb. Pony was right. "Dont play stupid. I remember clearly what we did three years ago. Is Thomas my kid or not?". She shuffled her feet, avoiding my eyes. Then, slowly, she nodded her head.

Im a dad. I cant believe it. "Why didnt you call me?". She looked at me like i was crazy. "Are you kidding me Dallas? You left so fast that it blew my mind. Even if i did miraculously find your number and call, would you have wanted this baby?". I thought about that for a minute. She was right. Three years ago when i was 15, i would not have wanted a kid. She has been doing this for three years without me. "Its not like you love me anyway so...". Thats all i heard. "What did you just say?", i asked angrily. She seemed stunned by my sudden outburst.

"You. Dont. Love. Me", she repeated. I pushed her up against the wall and kissed her. When i pulled back, i said, "I loved you at first sight". She smiled at little. She put whatever she was making on the counter and pulled me back to another room. "Be quiet. This is Thomas' room. He was sleeping when i put him down", she explained. We quietly walked into the room.

Thomas was sitting up, yawning. He had long red hair like Sydneys. His eyes were ice blue like mine. He was tuff looking. Just like me. "Can i be his dad?", i asked. "You kind of are his dad", she said. "Then i want to be here with you two. Maybe even make it four or five sometime soon", i smirked. She playfully smacked my arm but still smiled. "I would like that."
