I guess it was a bit much for draco to give me a diamond ring, but then again, he's a rich pure-blood who bought his whole team nimbus 2001s.

I haven't told my mother about dating draco yet, I've only been home for 2 days. Also, im not sure about what her reaction would be since she specifically told me that im not allowed to date draco.

"Scarlett" my mom called, someone's here to see you.

It couldn't be right? Was draco actually here to see me?
"Who is it?" I asked

"A friend from school" she replied

It was draco! I raced down the stairs, arms out, ready to hug draco but then when i saw who it was, I immediately stopped.

"Hi Scarlett" he said

Standing at my doorway was...

"Potter?!" I asked

"Yeah? Hi" He said

"Why don't you two go to Scarlett's room then while i make dinner" my mother suggested.

"Uhh ok then" we both ran up to my room

"Why are you here potter?" I demanded as soon as i closed my bedroom door.

"I wanted to ask you Scarlett, I wanted to ask you here because Hermione and Ron will kill me and you if they heard me say this" i whispered

"Well go on then" i said rolling my eyes

"Ok" he took a deep breath "We've been best friends for a long time Scarlett, and I've already told you I've liked you, so I thought we could be more than just best friends and..."

"Would you like your steak cooked, medium or rare harry?" My mum asked, coming into my room with no permission and breaking the moment.

"Medium thanks" potter said

As soon as my mother left, i turned back to potter, "yes?" I think I knew where this was going.

"Well i thought we could be more than friends and..."

"Just say it" i spat

"Would you date me Scarlett?" He asked.

"First of all potter" i said coldly "we were never friends, why do you think I call you Potter, huh? And also i already have a boyfriend"

"Oh sorry... do you mind if i ask who?" Potter asked

"Well... you can guess Potter, who else is in slytherin, calls you potter and is actually my friend?"

"Malfoy, no!" He cried, "anyone but Malfoy"

"Anyone but you" i muttered "and if you don't mind, please get out of my house".

"Sad he left early" my mother said at dinner

"Yeah, sad" i hid my smirk

"Well that can leave us to say something important" my fater said.

"We thought it was time that you found some... uhh lets just say love" my mother began "and we thought that that Harry Potter would be nice for you".

"Umm... well the thing is that" i was wondering if i should tell them about draco but i decided not to "I'm not that close to Pott- harry and i feel like we should get to know each other more before... you know" I shrugged.

"Ohh i see, then harry should come over to our house more then, I'll send Molly Weasley a letter" my mother suggested.

"NO!" I yelled "I mean no, its kinda weird to have just him over" i said hoping that potter wouldn't come over to my house ever again.

"Well then, we'll invite... what's his name? Donald Weasley?" My mother guessed

"Ronald Weasley" i muttered

"And that clever granger girl that i met in diagon alley" she said

"Hermione".
