Y/N was waking up after their nap after a long day of your tasks for the day. You let out a big yawn as you stretched out their arms before getting up. "Okay...that's a good sleep." You muttered but before you could get on with their day, you realized your surroundings. It's like you're inside of a large tent that somehow looks like a giant theme park with bright colors with long tubes that lead to anywhere around the place, giant rubber balls staying still, it's like you're in- 'A circus?' You thought to yourself, then you noticed a mirror on the side on the wall and looked at yourself in it to realize.

"What the.." You muttered, you were wearing a new look on you, instead of your usual look that you wear most of the time. It looks like you're dress as (You can pick whatever circus person you wanna be.) "What the heck? What is this?" You questioned, "And where am I? What is this place?!" Then, you heard some voices from around the corner that caught your attention. You went down the hall but hid behind the corner and took a peek to see some people...er, some kind of characters chatting in the center. You look at each one of them and question yourself "What are they?" You started to back away from the area but you accidentally bumped into someone from behind. Slowly, you turned around to see that someone is a chess piece with huge eyes that looks like they're pointing out from their sockets wearing a purple robe of a king.

Both of you and those chess pieces were staring at each other without a word until you raised your hand for a wave. "Hi-" They suddenly screamed in shock and you screamed back while backing away from them, which also grabbed the attention of the rest of the characters. You got up from the floor and started to run away from them but you unexpectedly ran towards the colorful tubes and hit your head, falling to the floor as you passed out from the hit.

You started to gain consciousness but groaned in pain from the hit. As you were gaining your vision, through your blur, you saw 8 different people looking down at you surrounding your body. "What the..?" "Hey there, buddy. Are you alright there?" "A-Are they gonna be o-okay?" "I don't know, try getting jumped and run towards a tube and get knocked out." "I think that's my fault..I screamed at them when they were trying to say hi." "Why are we just here playing doctor? If they're dead, they're dead." "I think they're waking up." You sit back up while rubbing your head. "Oh, my head.."

"Hey, are you okay?" You looked around to see the people around you. A doll-like person with red yarn hair and wearing a light blue dress matching with the bow in their hair and with a button as their left eye. A person who is dressed as a jester with blue and red colors and brown hair. A purple bunny-humanoid wearing nothing but light red overalls with their cartoonish eyes and mouth/teeth are yellow. Another one is someone whose body is just red ribbons with a mask with tear droplets hanging on their eyes. And lastly, a person that has many different types of colorful parts and shapes in their body.

'Okay, what did I drink or eat to see this? Is this a dream? I've been through this type of sh** already before.' You thought. "Need help there?" The doll person asked, leading their hand to you. You hesitated for a minute before grabbing their hand as they helped up on your feet. "Thanks, I guess?" You muttered, "No problem. Anyways, you're new here?" "Uh, yeah..Who are you all? And where am I?" You asked, then the lights went out in the tent and spotlights pointed at the red curtains on the center stage. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the Digital Circus!" "Who said that?" You questioned,

"I did!" You turned around to meet a big set of teeth with eyeballs inside wearing a red suit and black top hat. "What the-" "Hello, little mister/missy! You have stumbled into an incredible world of wonders where anything can happen!" He exclaimed. You just stood there staring at the person with a blank look on your face, then you started to laugh again. They all looked at each other like you were crazy as you kept laughing. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry but this must be some sort of joke. This is a costume or is this something that you guys create to prank me?" You said.

"Uh, hey. I know that you might be losing your mind or thinking like this is a prank but this isn't a prank. This is real." "I know that you're playing with me, Uzi but I'm not falling for this." You said, "Who's Uzi?" The jester asked, "Sorry, guys. I'm not falling for this but it is really amazing that you guys are going all out for this prank. Even this whole tent is amazing!" You exclaimed, "I'm just gonna leave this place and we'll be back." You headed to the exit but when you went through the door, you realized where you were and look at the sky to see a label.

'The Amazing Digital Circus?' You thought, you look around the area to see that you're some sort of field with a few trees around, big lake with a long water slide. The sky was split into two with starry night along with the moon on one side and a sunny day with a bright sun, both of the planets have faces. "What the absolute heck is going on?" You muttered, "Yeah, I know it's what most of us would do. At first, it's like some sort of prank but-" They stopped in their words when they all noticed a blue flower pit glitching through the ground. "Yeah, it's normal but it's just a minor thing. Anyways, we've all been through this but we just have to-"

"WHAT THE ACTUAL [BOING!] IS GOING ON?!" You shouted and you realized what you said. "The [DOLPHIN CHIRPS!] did I just say?" You said, then you immediately cover your mouth. "Now, now, my dear/good sir. We can't have any of that foul language around here. The Amazing Digital Circus is a place to be enjoyed for all ages." The ringleader said, "I'll be the judge of that." You said, You tried to cuss all sorts of words but all of them were blurred out with all sorts of different sound effects until you let out a frustrated groan and fell back while looking at the sky. "I know, pal. We've all tried this before." The purple bunny said,

"How are you even talking with your mouth not moving and showing your teeth?" You asked, "...Don't question it." "Whatever." You said as you rolled your eyes. "Now, as I was saying: Welcome, newcomer to the Amazing Digital Circus! I am your ringleader: Caine! And these are your co-workers: Gangle, Zooble, Kinger, Ragatha, Jax and our newly-joined member, Pomni!" He exclaimed, "Speaking of which, what's your name-" They noticed that you were gone on the spot. "Hey, where did they go?" Ragatha questioned, then noticed that you were running in distance. "I'm getting out of this place! Please let this be a dream!" You shouted, you were about to jump off the edge but suddenly froze in midair and pulled you back to the group.

"Woah, there, pal! Here in the Digital Circus, it has everything you need and more!" Caine exclaimed, "Oh, great. Can I commit genocide?" You asked, "No." "Mass murder?" "Nuh-uh." "Snap someone's spine in half?" "No- What?" "Nothing, forget it. I can't do [BLEEP!] in this place." You said, "Listen, I know you're upset or confused but we've all been through this. I just have to deal with this and act like this is a normal thing, we just get into it." Ragatha said, "Okay, Ragatha, right? I really don't argue- I mean, I really don't but this place is like a madhouse where we can't do anything we wanna do and are forced to play by the rules here." You said,

"Some of us wanna be free and just become rebels and some of us were born to be rebellious and carefree." "Oh, ho! This one is speaking my language. I like them already." Jax said, "And besides, I've been through enough already. I don't have time to go now." You said, "Really? What's your story?" Gangle asked, "B-But Gangle, how can they tell us about what happened to them b-before if they couldn't even remember? Sorry, just saying." Kinger said, "Actually, in fact, yes I can remember. I especially remember what I've been through." You said, "Oh, really? Then, enlighten us?" Zooble said as she tried crossing her limbs. "Fine..It all started-"

After Explaining~

"And that's what happened." You finished explaining as you crossed your arms. Then, you noticed the shocked looks on their faces by the story and the events that you've been through. "Uh, why are your faces looking like that? I know you're shocked but don't look at me like that." You said, then Jax snapped out his gaze. "Y-Yeah, that's an impressive story there, pal but how would you prove it to us if that stuff is true or something, I mean, as if you have any proof." He said, You looked with a blank look on your face before shaking your arm a bit to reveal your robotic arm to them. "Does this answer your question?" You said,

He only stared at you but nodded slowly. "W-Wait, but how are you able to do that? Does your arm look like that in the real world?" Gangle asked, "Yes, an "accident" happened and it cost my arm...I missed my regular arm though." You said, "Is that even real?" Pomni asked, "Oh, yeah. Pretty much...but I hate the shock waves from it." You muttered, "B-But how is that even allowed? It's even possible to do that, right?" Ragatha questioned, "Yeah..I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't allow the same looks on you or what you guys had on before. I don't even know if the moon and the sun are person-"

And that made Y/N realize something. "Wait, how long have you guys been in this place?" You asked, They looked at each other while you raised an eyebrow at them and crossed their arms. "Guys...how long have Theo guys been here?" "Uh...for Pomni, she's been kinda almost a few hours since she's new here but for some of us, probably for years." Ragatha said, "What- YEARS?! And you guys just accepted it? This place is like a prison into a digital world keeping you guys away from reality!" You exclaimed, "And to be honest, this one here is probably the normal one here about this!" You gestured at the jester/clown while she rocked back and forth while muttering herself into madness and insanity.

"Listen, we've already been through this before, we've tried looking for an exit here but given up." Jax said, "Bruh, oh my god, I will smack you if you make another sarcastic joke." You growled, glaring at him. "Well, that makes you an expert on getting anger issues." He said, then he laughed. The gang looked at him, then at you while your eyes twitched from anger. Your cyborg arm instantly turns into a machine gun and clicks it to get his attention. "Uh...got to go." Jax immediately runs away as you instantly chase him into the tent while the rest follows them inside. "That's right! You better run, you son of a rabbit!" You shouted,

"Guys, wait! Don't!" Ragatha exclaimed, "I'm gonna tear your purple, long ears and shove them up your [HONK!]!" You shouted, "I guess that makes you a prime suspect, huh?" Jax called out as he laughed again. "Should I do something?" Kinger asked, "Nah, he deserves it. He had it coming." Zooble said, "But they're gonna kill him." Gangle said, "I-I don't know if we could die in this place." Pomni said, "Well, either way.." Finally, you were able to catch him by his ears and lift him from the floor. "You're mine, rabbit." You said, pointing your gun at him. "Listen, buddy. You can't kill me, okay?" Jax said,

"Wanna test that out?" You said, When you pulled the trigger, it popped out confetti and a sign that said 'BANG!' that made you confused. "Wait, WHAT?!" You shouted, "Oh, there it is." Ragatha said, "I can't even shoot [BLEEP!]?!" You shouted, "Yeah, that's what Caine meant by "for all ages", which means that this is kid-friendly proof." Jax said, You growled under your breath before dropping him on the floor while marching off the area as you muttered all sorts of cuss words but all of them were blurred. "Uh, let's just give them some space and hope that they don't get violent again." Ragatha said,

"Are you sure about that, doll? They're gonna need some time for themselves with anger management." Jax said, then he quickly dodges a hacket and it hits the ground, inches away from him. "Wait a second, where did they even get that?"

You were walking around the circus tent while looking around the place, wishing that this is just a dream and all you wanted is to go back home with your parents, your friends, your girlfriend and everyone...almost everyone. You look at your charm necklace and open it to reveal yourself and Y/S/N (your sibling's name) as young kids. "Oh, bro/sis...I wish you were here right now." You muttered, then you felt a tap on your shoulder that made you jump a bit and you turned around to who tapped you. You saw Pomni waving at you a bit. "Oh, Pomni, right?" You asked, "M-Mhm, and uh..your story that you said about yourself from earlier.." She said,

"Y-Yeah, I know...I just instantly act like that. I hated being away from my home." You said, "How did you react to this place?" You asked, "Well...I went insane and tried to find the exit of this place to escape from here but I just realized that I can't escape from this digital nightmare." Pomni said, "I'm so sorry that you had to go through this but I don't blame you" You said, "I just wanna get out of here...if I could even remember." She said as she leaned against the wall and sat down while holding her head. "You're not the only one. One minute, I was in my room, about to take a nap and now, I'm in this place of a nightmare. Plus, look at what I'm wearing!" You exclaimed,

"I look like a [HONK!]-ing clown. Oh...uh, no offense." "None taken." She said, "And not to mention, I just wanna punch that ringleader's teeth or head off with that-" You then noticed a big red X over another clown's face on a door. "Wait...who's that?" You muttered, then noticed a few more characters down the hall and most of them had a red X mark on their profile. "Who are all them?" "I really don't know but..from what the others told me..they were ones who used to be here too like us but now...they're gone and abstracted." Pomni said, "Wait...what do you mean by 'abstracted'?" You asked,

Pomni only looked nervous while rubbing her arm and looked down as you soon realized what she meant by that. "Oh...they're..?" "M-Mhm...that's what happened to Kufmauo." She said, "That's this other clown guy?" You asked, "Yeah.." "Oh god, I need to get out of here." You muttered, "That's a problem, ever since I've come here. I thought I saw an exit from outside but nobody believed me. I tried so much to find an exit and it's the only thing that keeps me from going insane." She groaned as she sat back down. "I wanna go back home and just...try to remember my name or what happened to me before."

You feel bad for her. 'All she wanted was to be free and she was trapped here for who knows how long.' You went to her and sat next to her. "I'm sorry, Pomni." "I-It's not your f-fault. I just.." She whimpered through her words as she covered her eyes while crying a bit, you patted her back in comfort. "There, there, Pomni.." You said. You stayed there as you comforted her while the rest of the crew were watching from the corner. "That's actually sweet for them to comfort her.." Ragatha said, "Yeah, whatever, it's cheesy for my taste anyways." Jax said as he was about to walk off from the corner.

"You're just saying that because they scared you with the fake gun. And to be honest, that was the only funny thing that I had ever seen in a while." Zooble said, making Jax stop in his tracks. "First off, they didn't scare me with that fake gun thing, Second, they started it." He said, "Um, you were the one teasing them when they came here." Gangle said, "Yeah, yeah, whatever." "Want me to-" "AH!" They turned to them and they saw them standing away from each other but it looked like you were almost fading away or glitching as Pomni stared at them from shock. "What the- Y/N, what's happening to you?" Ragatha asked,

"I-I don't know! Am I glitching? Abstracting?" You asked, "No, my friend! It seems like someone has awakened you in the real world. It's a farewell for you." Caine said, "WHAT?!" Everyone shouted, "Th-They're going back home?! Like an actual home in reality?" Pomni asked, "Apparently and surprisingly, yes. Might as well say goodbye to them before they leave." Caine said, "Wait, so the way we can get out of here is for someone else to wake us up from this place? What kind of [BEEP!] rule is that?!" Zooble exclaimed, "Well, I guess it's our first and last goodbye...Sorry, we never got to know your name, buddy." Jax said,

"I'm Y/N, Y/N L/N and same thing to you guys-" Your sentence was cutted off when Pomni suddenly grabs you by your collar. "Please! If you ever found a place that looks like a workplace, please save us!" She exclaimed, "But how would I know what place you would be?" You questioned. She whispered it into your ears as you started to fade away from the digital world. "Bye, Y/N!"

You gasped deeply as you saw a bright light pointing directly at you while looking away. "Alright, they're coming back!" You shook your head as you slowly stood up and noticed that you were laying on the cushion like a bed. You realized that you were back to your normal self. "Are you okay, Y/N?" You turned around to see Marmalade and a few drones checking on the settings and writing it down. "M-Marmalade? What happened? Where am I?" You muttered, "Don't worry, you're back. You were in some sort of trance that made you fall asleep and probably, lifeless." He said,

"What?" "Nothing. Anyways, come on. The others are worried about you." He led you outside of the room to see the others waiting until they noticed you by the door. "Y/N!" "H-Hey, guys." You muttered while rubbing your head. "Are you okay? Who did this to you? Want me to commit genocide?" Uzi questioned, "No, no, Uzi! It's okay, but...to be honest, I don't know if someone did this to or not. I can't even remember." You said, "Well, when we came to check on you, we found this old vrchat game headset on you and it was like you were in a trance that made you go lifeless." R said, "Really? Then, where is it?" You asked,

She pointed at the worker drones observing while checking the system. "It put you in some sort of blockage in the digital that kept you away from us. When we first saw you in it while you were in bed, we tried to take it off multiple times before but since that didn't work for you, we just have to use more 'effective techniques'." She said, "But you're lucky to p survive. We were worried about you." N said, "Even V was worried." "I wasn't worried about them. I said we just leave them be and go on with our day, I don't care what happens to them." She said, "But YOU were the one who wanted to take them to the hospital at first." Uzi said,

"And wanted to find who did that to them. You were very worried." V rolled her eyes at them and crossed her arms. "Whatever." "Heh, she kept denying but she knows the truth, right, N/N?" B said, but you didn't respond. "Y/N?" They looked at you as you were staring at the old headset and remembered the moments with those characters
