Unlike the sunny and windy atmosphere Yuri felt as she had so much fun on their P.E. class yesterday,

The weather took a whole 180 degree turn as a typhoon came in the city out of nowhere,

It was passing by the higher areas of South Korea but Seoul wasn’t able to dodge it since its area of landing still managed to captured Seoul under it.

And rainy days meant that there wouldn’t be any classes and Nayeon was also staying at home saying she doesn’t want to go out to chaos happening outside,

She immediately filed a leave as soon as she woke up to see the water droplets by her window.

Yuri already received the news that there was indeed no classes for today as even some of their professors had no chance of arriving in school in a presentable state,

They did say they’ll just give them some worksheets and their future topics for them to learn so Yuri might read through it when she feels like it.

Laying under her sheets as she comfortably scrolled through her phone to read some news before she gets the day started,

Yuri even melted at the sleeping Gamja right beside her,

She remembers the puppy getting confused when she came home last night but it looks like he already got himself familiar with her again.

Petting the dog’s head as she watched a couple of videos on her feed, Yuri had her stomach grumbling when she passed by a curry dish that looked so aesthetically pleasing and at the same time delicious,

She’s now hungry and she knows that she doesn’t want to order food out since the delivery guy would be soaked under the rain,

Thinking about what they have in their kitchen, Yuri wasn’t feeling like going out of her bed so she started texting Nayeon who was just in the room across of her

“Unnie we have cup noodles right?”

Yena was glad that classes were cancelled for today since the weather had her sleeping in longer that she actually slept through her alarm which was set an hour ago,

She’s not sure if the others woke up about it but nobody has entered her door since then so she thinks nobody really woke up.

The weather gave a very sleepy feeling and she thinks it affected all of them here,

Seeing a couple of texts from her brother and one from their class president,

Yena diverted her attention away from her phone because she knows that once she does start to scroll through it, she’ll never feel sleepy again until a couple of hours later,

Facing the other side of the bed as she hugged a pillow with her whole body,

Yena was flustered when one person entered her mind as soon as she closed her eyes again,

She was hugging a pillow and a face of a person came into her mind, she imagined for a slight moment that she was sleeping right beside her and to think about it,

Yena now wants to actually hug her knowing they would both feel sleepy because of the weather.

Unending cuddles, warm hugs, her sleeping in between her arms, her laying in the same bed as her,

Yena doesn’t know why but thoughts of her sleeping with Yuri just flooded it’s way into her head and its slightly bothering her, is it a bad thing or a good thing?

Like she has confessed to her already but Yuri didn’t say anything back to her after that,

It’s like they just lived with the thought of Yena liking Yuri and none of them has been bothered by it until now.

And now that Yena has remembered about it again, she now wants to know if Yuri feels the same thing or is she living a one-sided relationship with an ethereal girl named Jo Yuri?

Yena walked out to see no one in their living room as her guess was right, the other three may still be dozing of in their beds due to the unending feeling of being tired and exhausted young adults get once they lay in bed,

It still amazes Yena how she was so energetic during her last years of being a teenager,

She was facing her illness back then too so the amount of mountains she hiked up with her brother is a good memory she has with him,

He always made sure that Yena was still fine even though he was always the one lacking behind Yena while she looked like she was still walking on flat concrete placed on a semi-steep slope.

Wobbling her way to their kitchen with her blanket around her back, Yena wished that they still have some cup noodles left from their monthly stock of food,

And generally just stocks of food since it looks like the rain has no wants of stopping or at least getting a little more chill and be at the same vibes with them,

Dragging her feet as she reached for the top cabinet’s handle to see if there was still edible food in it,

Yena brought her other hand up as she balled it into a fist, a celebratory moment for her as there was still at least 7 cups of ramen displayed in their cabinets,

It means that there wouldn’t be no such thing as shortage as long as they all eat one today and leave the other 3 to fight for once they all crave for it,

Grabbing the ramen as she turned on their electric kettle, Yena wasn’t sure with what she’ll be doing today,

She stayed up until midnight finishing all of her remaining works so she would just pass it later in the future and advance reading for class isn’t really her thing,

Feeling a small spark lit up as she thought about it for a second,

Yena looked back to the vertical window by the living room to see if the rain was still hard as ever,

A dumb idea popping up in her mind as she knows, only she can do it this at this state of time.

Eunbi woke up to see Yena and Chaewon outside of their rooms,

Chaewon was still fast asleep in their sofa while Yena looked like she was preparing something,

There was a continuous sound of something hitting a ceramic surface as Eunbi waddled her way out of their room,

Hyewon was already awake too but she had no plans on leaving their bed,

She had Eunbi’s stuffed piglet in her hands, playing with it as she had it up in the air right in front of her face creating little sounds effects on her own as she moved its limbs like it was moving on its own,

Eunbi rubbed her eyes as she knew she had a swollen face knowing they ate cheeseballs she bought on her way home from work,

She’s going to grab an ice pack as soon as she reaches the fridge and she’ll only ask Yena about what she’s doing before running back to bed,

She wants to stay in bed too knowing Hyewon’s there taking advantage of the free day they have.

Squinting her eyes as she looked over to Yena once she reached the refrigerator door,

She saw a yellow substance getting tossed around a bowl as Yena had the stove beside her open,

A pan on top of it as the oil spread through out it was already making some crackling noises.

"What are you doing?”

“Chaewon said she wanted egg sandwiches last night so I’m making some for breakfast”

Feeling touched to hear the reason why she was cooking so early in the morning,

Eunbi took a glance to their kitchen table to see no signs of a loaf of bread right where it’s supposed to be.

“Oh, do we even have bread?”

“Yup there’s some in my room”

Successfully grabbing an ice pack as she looked back to Yena,

Eunbi was confused as to why she has a whole loaf of bread in her room and not in their kitchen table?

Because once ants invade Yena’s stuff, oh no one’s going to be helping her search for the reason why there are ants in her room.

“Mind telling me why it’s in your room?”

“Hehe”

Yuri cooked some instant packed kimchi stew she and Nayeon would always eat when things were getting too far from their comfort zone,

Adding some ramen noodles and vegetables she cut up,

It was an instant pass for Nayeon as the two immediately devoured everything in a span of minutes,

It was so good that Nayeon insisted that she’ll wash the dishes so Yuri could go whatever is it she wants,

The girl going to their living room as she connected Nayeon’s phone to their stereo,

She knows she still needs to do some things after washing the dishes so she didn’t use hers as she wanted to keep scrolling through social media too,

Yuri played Nayeon’s go to playlist which certainly had good and nostalgic songs in the track which Yuri didn’t doubt at all knowing it was Nayeon’s music taste she’ll be messing with,

If were talking about music here, they both have good taste but Nayeon has been alive a little longer than Yuri so she knows a little more than her.

“Yuri?”

Getting called by her unnie made Yuri instantly sat up as she looked to her direction to see her back facing her as she was still by the sink,

The sound of water running echoing through their place as it fought with the sound of the music coming out of the speakers.

“Nae?”

“You have no plans on going out today, right?”

“Nae, why?”

“Nothing, I just wanted to ask you”

“Okay?”

Feeling touched as she knew why Nayeon asked her already,

Yuri had a smile in her face as she looked so carefully on Nayeon’s back,

Even though they always bicker with each other or even spend days not caring about each other,

Yuri knew that Nayeon would always be the one secretly checking up on her since she has been acting like this as soon as both of them had the right enough of maturity to think about responsibility,

No one really told her that she had to take care of Yuri this much but Yuri’s very thankful that she treats her like this,

It really made her happy growing up with someone that has an older sister figure.

It sounds so dramatic since the weather compliments moody statements so Yuri will just mind her own business here.

“Okay, can you see if Jeongyeon texted me or not”

Looking at her phone, she saw one of the simplest texts Yuri has laid her eyes on for the first time this month.

“I’m sleeping in”

“She said she’s going back to sleep!”

“Okay thank you~”

A new song starting to play as Yuri knows all of its lyrics due to the reason of Minju getting hooked onto it last summer made her hooked onto it too,

She followed the song’s lyrics which magically stayed in her mind as she slightly danced with it,

Feeling herself as she suddenly craved for donuts after seeing a picture of it lined across as stand,

The bright colors it had was surely all artificial yet is still made Yuri drool over it as there were certain donuts that had the perfect ratio of sweetness to bread proportions,

Yuri really liked those ones because she wouldn’t need to chug a whole glass of water after eating one.

Feeling the song as she thought about ordering donuts even though the rain was still the same as earlier,

She heard a faint knock coming from their door, an unexpected knock that ruined her mood since she was full on singing the song she’s hearing right now,

Nayeon’s putting a nail on her wall in her room right now so she could hang up the painting she ordered already,

She didn’t want to bother her anymore so Yuri swept her hand through her hair as she stood up from the sofa,

Leaving her phone as Gamja followed along her footsteps,

She’s actually not feeling nervous even though she has no idea on who’s on the other side.

She’s not even thinking about her usual ridiculous thoughts so Yuri opened the door to see someone in a rain coat holding something in a plastic bag as the pants they were wearing looked like they were almost fully soaking wet,

Yuri looked at the person’s face to get surprised on who it is,

She still had her usual smile in her face and to be honest, it made Yuri’s heart smile too, her brain in a mess as her face clearly expressed the most mixed emotions a person could have,

“Unnie?”

“Hehe, you want donuts?”

“Maybe we're perfect strangers”

Yena left their apartment as she finished making three sandwiches per person wishing once she comes home there would be nothing left from it but happy stomachs for her friends,

Her mind planned on going to Yuri’s place since she suddenly wanted to experience this rainy day with her,

Thankful for her brother buying her a raincoat when they last met out,

Yena left without even brushing her hair in a bright blue raincoat as she knows she’ll be sacrificing her sweat pants to the rain knowing it wouldn’t be covered by the raincoat,

She carefully made her way out of their door without bothering anyone else that could worry about her knowing she would get drenched by the rain,

Yena grabbed her keys as she stuffed her phone and wallet into her pockets wishing they wouldn’t get wet too,

She has no idea what to tell Yuri once she arrives in their place too so that’s going to be her future self’s problem.

Passing by a donut shop as she wanted to at least bring something with her when she arrives,

She managed to get Yuri’s unit number from Minju who magically didn’t ask her anything about why she’s asking about it,

Maybe even Minju’s still sleepy until know.

She kept fixing herself as she already started feeling cold once she entered their apartment building,

Their halls weren’t air conditioned so she thinks that the rain was that strong to make the halls feel like they had aircon units on either end.

Knocking in the most subtle way as possible, Yena hoped that Yuri would let her in or she wouldn’t be able to go back home on both feet,

She slightly regrets going out in the rain without bringing an inhaler with her and she certainly wants a cup of water as of now,

Hopefully Yuri opens it already or her head ache will start to get worse-
