(Y/n), Midoriya and Melissa ran to the next flight of stairs, where two armed men began to fire their guns at the teens. (Y/n) pushed Melissa backward while Midoriya dodged the bullets as he jumped the walls and ceiling. As he reached close, (Y/n) threw two energy bolts at the men and destroyed the guns while Midoriya jumped and kicked the guys unconscious.

As they reached the top floor, (Y/n), Midoriya, and Melissa crept along the quiet corridor. They found David and Sam on the other side, working intently on the computers. (Y/n) glanced at Melissa and Midoriya, her expression a mix of worry and determination.

"Why would Papa be on the top floor, though?" Melissa whispered, her brows furrowed.

"Maybe the villains brought him up here," Midoriya murmured back, scanning the room with a tense look. "They could be forcing him to do something for them."

"We need to help him," Melissa said, her voice barely above a whisper but her determination unwavering.

The three nodded to each other, moving closer to the entrance, careful to remain unseen. They watched as David adjusted something on the computer, a look of relief spreading over his face as it beeped with a green light.

"I've unlocked it," he said, standing up straight and giving Sam a nod. "Block 1147. It's opening."

Sam hurried over to one of the nearby compartments, his face lighting up as he carefully grabbed a large case and opened it. "Look at this, Professor," he said, awed. "Everything's here. It's perfect."

(Y/n), keeping hidden, squinted to make out what was inside. Her enhanced sight quickly focused on a head device with several mechanical tendrils and two vials—one filled with a glowing blue liquid, the other red. She narrowed her gaze, a strange familiarity unsettling her. Something about that red vial gnawed at her.

David's voice cut through her thoughts as he looked at the device, clenching his fists with an almost desperate expression. "Finally, I've gotten it back," he muttered. "All my research... they just took it away from me. But now, it's mine."

"Just like we planned," Sam added with a smirk, cradling the case. "And the villains are holding things down."

"Thank you, Sam. I couldn't have done any of this without your help." David's voice held a mix of gratitude and weight. But he was interrupted by the soft, familiar voice behind him.

"Papa..."

David turned sharply to find Melissa, (Y/n),  and Midoriya standing just within the doorway, their faces painted with shock and disbelief.

"Melissa? What... what are you doing here?" he stammered, eyes widening as he took in their expressions.

"'Just like you planned'?" Melissa's voice was shaky, laced with betrayal. "Don't tell me you're the one behind all this. You... you did all of this just to steal something? No. It can't be true..."

David looked at his daughter, his face reflecting guilt and sorrow. He knew he couldn't hide it anymore. Looking Melissa in the eyes, he spoke softly but firmly, "Yes... it's true."

Melissa's face crumpled in shock and hurt, her voice barely above a whisper. "Papa... How could you?"

"The Professor is only trying to take back what was stolen from him," Sam interjected as if to defend David. He gestured to the device in his hands. "This invention amplifies a person's Quirk."

"Wait, that's possible?" Midoriya asked, his voice a mix of disbelief and fascination.

"Yes," Sam said, nodding. "It's still experimental, of course. But unlike with typical drugs, this device magnifies a Quirk's power without harming the user's body or mind. Despite that, our sponsors confiscated it and all our research data and ordered us to abandon the project. They feared the device could disrupt the balance of superhuman society and even lead to chaos if misused. Governments pressured your father, Melissa. They forced him to end the project. That's why we had to do this."

Melissa stared at her father, a spark of hope fighting against her disbelief. "I... I still don't understand. There must be something I'm missing here. You wouldn't do this."

David looked away, his shoulders slumped with guilt. "I'm... I'm so sorry, Melissa."

"This doesn't make any sense," Melissa whispered, stepping forward and searching her father's face for answers. "The father I know and love would never act like this. So why? Why?"

David took a shaky breath, finally meeting her eyes. "I had to... for All Might and (Y/n)."

The three teens gasped, their shock deepening.

David continued, his gaze haunted. "You probably don't know this... but All Might's Quirk is fading. He's losing his strength."

Midoriya's face fell as he processed this.

David went on, his expression now a mixture of desperation and hope. "But with this device, he could become his old self again—no, even stronger than he ever was, especially with (Y/n)'s abilities to support him. The world could see the return of its number-one hero. All Might and (Y/n) could continue saving people, just as they always have."

Midoriya's heart twisted. 'The professor is doing this because he thinks All Might's power is disappearing... because of me,' he thought. 'But he doesn't know.'

(Y/n), meanwhile, had a distant look as her eyes drifted back to the device and that vial. Something about the device made her skin crawl, a creeping sense of unease settling over her.

"Uncle Dave," she said softly, her voice wavering. "You said you wanted to help me too. But why... why did you involve the villains in coming after me? And why does something about this device feel... familiar?"

David's gaze softened as he looked at (Y/n), his voice taking on a tone of quiet confession. "(Y/n), I wanted to learn more about you, about your abilities, where they come from after watching you grow up, the half-demon powers you honed, your hero work, everything. I wanted to help you with all the burdens you carry, just like I wanted to help All Might... I know you would do anything to help him. I, too, want the same, to help your dad."

He hesitated, catching his breath as he tried to find the right words, his eyes fixed on a spot somewhere below her gaze. "When you were here with Melissa one time... you got a small papercut while playing, remember? There was a couple of drops of blood left on a napkin, and, well... that drop of blood somehow got mixed in with one of my samples." He paused, his voice softening with a mix of awe and reluctance. "I didn't think much of it at first, but then I started seeing results."

He glanced down at his hands, visibly struggling to contain the revelation. "I was researching Quirk healing and ways to enhance their power. But the moment I saw what your blood could do... the potential was beyond anything I'd ever encountered. When it touched certain cells, it amplified Quirk strength, stimulated rapid cellular healing—and even eradicated malignant growths. But the strangest part was..." He trailed off, shaking his head as though even now he couldn't quite believe it.

"Your blood couldn't destroy anything. Every other approach failed where that part was concerned. It was like... it was too pure, unable to cause harm, only capable of mending, of enhancing. I tried tracking down any possible ancestral sources, any origin that could explain it, but... every lead just disappeared, faded away."

His voice grew more intense as he met her gaze, his expression a blend of reverence and conviction. "That's when I knew I couldn't let go of that sample, no matter how small it was. It was the answer to my work. I needed to hold onto it, use it in my research, and unlock the next step. Your blood was the key—without it, this device, this breakthrough... none of it would be possible."

(Y/n)'s eyes widened, her heart pounding as his words sank in. "You... you kept my blood without telling me? You used it for your device?"

David nodded, remorse shadowing his face. "I had to. With your blood, the device can amplify a person's Quirk to levels previously unimaginable. Without it, the device's power is limited. But with it... the potential for good is limitless."

Midoriya's gaze darted between (Y/n) and David, his shock matching Melissa's. He had never seen (Y/n) so shaken, her usually composed face reflecting pain and confusion.

David took a step forward, his tone almost pleading. "(Y/n), think about what this could mean for you and All Might. If we could remove the dark powers you struggle with and help you control them, you could live without fear. And All Might would be restored to his prime. He could be a hero without limits, just like you. You both won't have to worry about one another ever again."

(Y/n) looked away, her voice barely audible as she struggled to find the words. "Uncle Dave... that's not how it works. My power... my 'half-demon' side... it's not something that can be just 'removed.'" She took a breath, her gaze finally meeting his with an intensity that surprised him. "This... this path you're taking, it's not the way to help anyone. Everything that has happened today shouldn't have happened. The hostages, my friends, my father. Shedding blood and causing fear is not worth a few drops of my blood"

"Please. Let me just hand this device over to All Might. There's no time to remake it. When he's better, I don't care what kind of punishment I receive." Said Dave urgently as he held on to the case tightly

Melissa stood trembling, her blue eyes blazing with a mix of anger and disbelief as she raised her arm, pushing her sleeve up to reveal angry red scratches etched into her skin. Her voice cracked with emotion as she shouted, "They risked their lives! Deku and his classmates went through so much. Do you even realize how dangerous that was?! How hard we were trying to save everyone on the island?!"

Dave Shield stood opposite her, his brow furrowed, a flicker of unease crossing his otherwise stoic expression. He raised an eyebrow, his calm demeanor fraying slightly at the edges. "No," he replied slowly, his tone measured but laced with confusion. "What do you mean? The villains are fake. It's all supposed to be an act!"

His gaze flickered to Sam, who stood off to the side, his face pale and his eyes darting nervously toward the ground as if he wished to disappear.

"Of course, it was a performance."

The smooth, chilling voice echoed from the lab's entrance, and all heads turned sharply. Wolfram strode in, exuding an aura of arrogant confidence. Behind him followed a man with a robotic eye and steel-gray hair, his posture just as threatening. Wolfram's smirk widened as he stepped forward, his boots clicking ominously against the metal floor.

The room collectively stiffened. Melissa gasped, her breath catching in her throat, while Dave froze, his focused expression giving way to growing dread.

"But the real act," Wolfram continued, his smirk deepening, "was pretending we weren't criminals."

Midoriya and (Y/n) exchanged a quick glance, a silent agreement passing between them. Without hesitation, they activated their quirks. Energy crackled in the air as Midoriya's One for All surged through him, his body tense with power. (Y/n)'s half-demon strength flared as her glowing red eyes narrowed, her movements deliberate as she prepared to attack.

Before they could strike, Wolfram raised a hand. The heavy metal door behind him vibrated violently, and suddenly, magnetic wires shot out from beneath it. The wires moved with terrifying precision, wrapping around Midoriya and pinning him to a wall. His struggles were in vain as the wires locked his limbs and torso in place, sealing his mouth to muffle his protests.

A second set of wires shot toward (Y/n), ensnaring her arms, waist, and legs before dragging her to the floor. She gritted her teeth, her muscles straining against the restraints, but the wires tightened, forcing her hands behind her back.

"Deku!" Melissa screamed, rushing toward him, her voice filled with panic.

(Y/n) snarled, her half-demon strength surging as she tested the limits of her bindings. Her glowing eyes darted toward Wolfram, analyzing his every move. 'He's manipulating the metal.' The realization was instant, but she knew that breaking free would require more power than she dared to unleash.

Suddenly, a heavy boot pressed into her side, forcing her still. Her glowing red eyes met Wolfram's cold gaze for the first time. His smirk widened as he knelt beside her, resting an arm casually on his knee. With his free hand, he cupped her chin, his grip firm as he tilted her face toward him.

"Well, well, Twilight," he said, his tone mockingly polite. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I've heard so much about you. My apologies for the injury to your foot earlier." His smirk turned predatory. "You'd be smart not to resist. Otherwise, something very bad will happen to your little friend over there." With a flick of his fingers, Midoriya's restraints tightened, eliciting a muffled groan of pain from him.

(Y/n)'s growl deepened, but she forced herself to go limp, her glowing eyes narrowing into slits.

"That's better," Wolfram said approvingly, standing up. "Sam. Hand it over."

Sam flinched at being addressed but hurried forward, grabbing a briefcase from Dave's grasp. His hands shook as he held it out to Wolfram.

"Sam?" Dave's voice cracked with a mix of disbelief and anger. "That was your plan? You were going to hand it over all along?"

Sam's face twisted with pent-up frustration. "You tricked me, professor! I've been your assistant for years, and you let them take our work! We could've had fame, fortune—everything! But no, you threw it all away! I deserve more. I need more! Otherwise, everything I've done was for nothing!" His voice wavered, but his desperation was palpable.

Wolfram chuckled darkly. "Here's the payment I promised you."

Sam's hopeful gaze was met with the cold barrel of a gun. His face drained of color.

Before anyone could react, the gun fired.

(Y/n)'s body moved on instinct, her half-demon strength surging as she broke the wires binding her legs. In less than a second, she lunged forward, shoving Sam aside. The bullet tore through her elbow, blood splattering the floor.

(Y/n) crumpled to the ground, groaning as waves of pain radiated from her arm. Her glowing eyes flickered dangerously as her demon power fought to break loose. She pressed her forehead against the cold floor, snarling in pain and frustration.

"(Y/n)!" Melissa screamed, her voice breaking.

Midoriya's muffled cries of her name echoed across the room as tears streamed down his face.

"No... why?!" Sam stammered, clutching the scratch on his arm. His wide eyes were glued to the pool of blood spreading beneath (Y/n). "This wasn't part of the plan!"

Wolfram laughed, the sound cold and maniacal. "Wasn't it? Strange. It's always been part of my plan." He stepped over (Y/n) and aimed his gun at Sam again.

The gun fired a sharp crack that shattered the tense silence.

"No!" Melissa's scream echoed through the room, a desperate plea too late to stop the inevitable.

Dave's body jerked as the bullet tore through his side, just below the elbow. His eyes widened in shock, pain flooding his expression as he staggered backward. Time seemed to slow as his knees buckled, and he crumpled to the ground with a heavy thud. The sound reverberated through the lab like a hammer striking an anvil. Blood began to pool beneath him, staining his white lab coat with a vivid crimson.

"Professor Dave!" Midoriya's muffled cry was drowned by the restraints binding his mouth, tears streaming down his face as he strained against the metal coils. His body trembled with fury, green sparks crackling faintly around him.

(Y/n)'s eyes widened, glowing red with an unbridled rage. "No!" she roared, her voice raw and guttural, filled with anguish. She thrashed against the bindings that still restrained her, her muscles flexing as she drew on her demonic strength to break free. Her hands clawed within her as she was about to pounce and reach toward Dave's fallen figure.

Before she could fully rise, Wolfram's heavy boot came crashing down on her back, slamming her into the ground with a brutal force that knocked the wind from her lungs. The weight pressed against her spine, pinning her mercilessly.

"Stay down," Wolfram sneered, his voice a cold command.

"Papa!" Melissa screamed as she rushed toward her father, tears streaming down her face. Her trembling hands reached out, but Wolfram turned with predatory precision. Without hesitation, he swung the butt of his gun, striking her across the face.

The blow sent Melissa sprawling, her body hitting the floor with a sickening thud. A cry of pain escaped her lips as she clutched her cheek, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. Her golden hair, usually so pristine, fell in disarray around her.

"Melissa!" (Y/n)'s voice cracked with fury, her glowing eyes narrowing into slits as her demonic aura flared uncontrollably. She snarled, baring her teeth as her instincts surged. Her struggles grew more violent, shaking the ground beneath her. Wolfram didn't flinch, but a glint of amusement sparked in his eyes as he extended a hand, activating his quirk.

With a low metallic hum, a piece of metal snaked toward (Y/n), wrapping tightly around her mouth. The restraints were unforgiving, muffling her growls and snarls as she continued to writhe. Another coil wound itself around her legs, locking them in place once again. Despite the restraints, her eyes burned ferociously, glowing brighter as her power pushed against the limits.

Wolfram crouched slightly, his smirk widening. "Look at you. Still fighting, even when you've lost. You're a real piece of work, Twilight."

Meanwhile, Midoriya's green lightning began to spark violently as he activated One for All. His body trembled with effort, and his eyes burned with determination. The energy surged through him, the overwhelming power resonating faintly within (Y/n), who could feel its familiar sensation ripple through her restrained body. Her gaze flicked toward Midoriya, silently urging him to hold on. But her focus quickly returned to Melissa and Dave, worry darkening her expression.

Wolfram's voice cut through the chaos like a blade. "Trying to be a hero after all this? Too late for that." He paced slowly toward Dave's crumpled form, the sound of his boots deliberate and menacing. "No matter what your reasons were, you've dirtied your hands now. Whether we're real villains or actors is irrelevant. You planned and committed an actual crime here."

Dave groaned weakly, his pale face turned toward the ground. His fingers twitched, but his body remained still, too weak to move. Wolfram crouched beside him, leaning in close. "You're just like us now. You can't go back. Your life as a respected scientist? Gone. Your research? Stained with shame. Face it, Dave," he whispered with a venomous grin, "you're no better than me."

The professor's trembling grew worse. Wolfram's words struck deep, their weight sinking into his mind like lead. Guilt and regret washed over him in waves. He thought of his daughter, his niece, the people on the island, and all the lives endangered because of his actions. Tears welled in his eyes as he realized the truth in the villain's words. He had crossed a line that could never be undone.

Wolfram laughed, his cruel cackle echoing through the lab. "You see it now, don't you? The darkness inside you. It's too late to fight it." He stood, looming over the professor like a predator toying with its
