Y/n Pov

"The master of the mansion has returned. "

After the twins spoke I looked from the show in front of me and to the patio of the mansion. A man was walking through the doors.

I looked closer and saw his eyes where cloudy and some sort of infection was spreading that went over his eyes. Clearly he was blind, some news that you wouldn't fully expect for the leader of the Demon slayer corporation.

"My children.. I thank you for coming here this day." the master calmly thanked in a soft voice.

The twins quietly closed the doors behind the master and guided him to the edge of the patio. Everything was quiet. Somehow the master arriving even got Sanemi to shut up.

He looked to the sky and continued to speak.

"Good morning to you all, the weather is strikingly pleasant today, perhaps with a blue sky? Finding ourselves here at the semiannual gathering with all the same faces brings me joy." he greeted everyone in such a calm and joyful tone that for a split second I forget that this could possibly be the day I die but I still find myself kneeling to this man.

Possibly out of respect? After all he runs an entire corporation surrounded by the extermination of demons and all the whilst he is blind too.

Suddenly I hear a thud sound and see that Sanemi pinned Tanjiro down, for a moment everyone stayed silent until Sanemi began speaking.

"I'm pleased to see you in good health as well master. I pray for your continued good fortune." It was a surprisingly polite gesture for a man that literally just threatened to kill someone not even a minute ago. His aura emitting a polite and respectful color.

"Thank you Sanemi." He replied

"If I may could you possibly enlighten us about these two swordsman right here? Who would appear to be accompanied by a demon?" Sanemi asked, he started of kind and respectful but you could just hear the venom in his voice at the end when speaking of me and Tanjiro.

'This mother- this is the most two faced person I've ever met.' I thought

"Of course, I apologize for any confusion." he apologizes

"Tanjiro and Nezuko have both been sanctioned, same for Y/n and Nakime. I have not been able to decide Rui's fate, for I have just recently been given the knowledge of his presence with Y/n." The master informed, the fact that Nakime, Nezuko, Tanjiro and I have been sanctioned calms me majorly but I say on my toes for the fact that Rui is basically a 50/50 chance of surviving this.

"I would appreciate if you'd all accept this condition." The master continued

"Master, even though it is something you have requested, I cannot bring myself to accept this.." Gyomei rejects

"I too am opposed to this request! A slayer with a demon is unacceptable! Uzui agreed with Gyomei, VERY loudly I might add

"As for myself I shall agree with your conditions master!" Mitsuri, being the only one to actually agree with the master so far.

"I'll forget anyway. So I'm fine either way.." the boy that looked about my age blankly agreed

Shinobu and Giyuu stayed silent as if they were thinking of what to say.

"I won't trust them. Absolutely not. I hate demons and do not welcome them in the corps." Obanai stated

"Although I respect you with all my heart Master! I can't abide by this!" Rengoku yelled

"The corps mission is to exterminate all demons. I ask you to at least punish Komado and Tomioka, Y/n can be spared if they prove both Nakime and Rui's innocence. If not then they can join Komado and Tomioka." Sanemi offered in a very angry and intense tone

The master stayed quiet for a moment and then looked to one of the twins

"The letters." he asked

"Yes sir." the twin complied

She took out two letters and began reading them out loud.

"A former Hashira Mr. Urokodaki and M/n L/n has sent a letter with a request. I shall read to you and abridged version of the two letters." she calmly said

"As ask of you to allow Tanjiro and Nezuko to accompany each other. Because of her resilient mental fortitude Nezuko has not lost her human reason, even when starved she has never devoured a single human and that is more than two years later.
Even if it sounds outlandish, it is reality. In the event that Nezuko does attempt to kill another human being myself as well as Tanjiro Komado and Giyuu Tomioka will atone by coming seppuku." She read off.

I looked to Tanjiro and noticed that he was crying.

"As for M/n L/n's letter, it reads. Greetings old friends, I know this will be quite outlandish but I wish for you to let my child and Nakime to fight together. The two have had a bond that from the start cannot be broken. I myself have already tested the extent of Nakime's resistance to the need for human blood, as you might know I am a mariachi and a cut my hand in front of her. Instead of attacking or running away she calmly left the room and aided me in cleaning the cut with no hesitation. Even so I have gotten conversation that Y/n has began traveling with some of their friends and a demon boy named Rui along with a third demon. In the event that any of them attack a human I along with Y/n L/n, O/b/n (older brother's name) L/n, and O/s/n (older sister's name) shall commit seppuku. Y/n if you are hearing this then good luck. I love you and hope you make it out ok." the twin recited

So many thoughts where going through my head. I have to make it out of here.

As I thought I released tears where flowing down my face and getting on my father's haori.

"Who cares how they choose to end their lives? Fire, hanging it's all the same! It doesn't guarantee our safety!" Sanemi yells

"So you're saying that six lives of people who comit to seppuku still won't be enough even if that same demon is dead? So you're saying that the loss of a single human is enough to lose a main stream ally that supplies hundreds of demon slayers with food, recovery, and shelter?" I ask Sanemi

He begins to speak before I cut him off

"Plus this is hypothetical. But even so that would be more humans dead than demons in this scenario. Your basically saying that it wouldn't matter if six humans die because at least we got three. Can you at least elaborate more on this logic?" I finish, most of the Hashira where looking at me but I didn't care. I refuse to let this slide.

"They have a point Shinazugawa. Six humans not included the human that could hypothetically be attacked is much more than three demons being dead. Not to mention the importance of several of the people who would comit seppuku." Shinobu agrees

"Yes I agree with this argument from the young L/n." Gyomei joined

"As do I!" Kyojiro yelled

Uzui and Mitsuri join too while Tomioka stayed quiet and the boy that looked my age just gazed apon the clouds and birds.

"What do you wish to do master?" Rengoku asked

"Well we can't guarantee that the demon's won't attack since non of us where there for the events that took place where they resisted the urge to eat other than these two swordsman and it's impossible to prove that it's not some sort of elaborate lie. That said we can't just assume that they will feast on humans." He replied

"All we truly know is that Nezuko has been asleep for over two years and there are seven people who would vouch for her with their live as for Rui and Nakime those two have four people who would do the same. If this evidence is rejected one must offer in turn an even more convincing argument." the master says

"Are any of you able to do that?" the master asked

"Oh right there is one more thing I would like to add.. Tanjiro has met Kibutsuji face to face."

'What?! He never told me this! How do you forget to add that? HOW IS TANJIRO ALIVE RIGHT NOW?!' Several thoughts where going through my head as I heard this but most importantly the slight feeling of betrayal after not being told this- wait this could have been traumatic, never mind then but how is Tanjiro alive?

"HUH?! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE NOT EVEN A HASHIRA HAS CROSSED PATHS WITH HIM!" Uzui yelled

He turns to Tanjiro accidentally knocking Mitsuri over (justice for Mitsuri 😔✊)

"Did you really? What did he look like? Did you witness any of his powers? What are his powers?!" Uzui started bombarding Tanjiro with questions

"Where was he?!" Uzui continued

"Did you fight?" the boy with mint colored eyes asked

Sanemi started shaking Tanjiro's head, unfortunately I couldn't get to Tanjiro because I was beside Mitsuri and Rengoku.

"What was he doing?!" Sanemi yelled

"DID YOU FIND HIS STRONGHOLD?!ANSWER ME!" he continued to shake Tanjiro's head

"SHUT UP I ASKED FIRST COME ON TELL US WHAT POWERS HE HAS" Uzui interrupted

The master simply put a finger over his mouth as if to try to silence them without using his voice.

And it worked like a charm.

"Speaking of that man we know that he has sent pursuers after Tanjiro while his goal may simply be to silence Tanjiro now that he has finally revealed himself I wish to seize this opportunity." The master said

"I also suspect that something is happening to Nezuko that Kibutsuji never saw coming."

"Do you agree with me now?" he asked once more.

"I'm afraid I don't master. If it were human there would no question we'd spare it, but after all we've gone through. After losing countless of our brethren asking us to house a demon?!"

"Who said we?" I heard Uzui muttering

"It's unacceptable!" Sanemi finished as he unsheathed his blade once again and sliced his arm

The blood splattered onto the ground

"I WILL PROVIDE THE EVIDENCE YOU ASKED FOR" He took Nezuko's box and let some blood splatter on the box door and then the same for Nakime and Rui's.

You could hear scratching on the wood of both door of the boxes

"It'll only show themself in the shadows." Obanai reminded Sanemi

"Please forgive me for what I'm about to do." Sanemi told the master

He quickly takes the boxes into the shadow of the padio and stabs both of the boxes

"STOP IT!" Both me and Tanjiro yell but Tanjiro is elbowed into the back, I attempt to rush to the padio but instead my arm is grabbed by Rengoku

Finally Sanemi opens the boxes with his sword after stabbing the two boxes once more.

Rui and Nakime get up first to reveal that Nakime and Rui have been stabbed, Nakime being stabbed in the stomach and Rui being stabbed in the shoulder Nakime holding Rui in a protective like position as Rui begins to drool.

Nezuko struggles to stand but eventually gets up. Nezuko looks at Nakime and Rui for a split second then started to glare daggers- no swords into Sanemi drool dripping from her muzzle as well.
