Sports Festival: Shoto Todoroki Vs. Izuku Midoryia

"Ooh, this was a good fight" Fuyumi said excited. Endeavor just groaned.

Midoryia and Todoroki stared at each other, waiting for the match to begin. Todoroki pointed his right foot at Midoryia and Midoryia aimed his arm at Todoroki.

"Start!"

"Smash" Midoryia flicked his finger, having the air pressure rush at todoroki. Todoroki blocked it by creating a giant ice wall in front of Midoryia

Todoroki saw Midoryias finger was purple and sent his heavenly ice piercing wall at Midoryia.

Midoryia flicked his finger again, destroying it. The two stared at each other again. Just like before, Todoroki sent more ice just for Midoryia to destroy it.

More ice was sent Midoryias way. He used his pinkie this time. Meaning he only had his thumb left.

"How the hell can that kid take so much pain like that?" Mirko asked impressed at how much More Midoryia could take.

"Midoryia once broke every bone in his body to save a little girl." Everyone who wasn't there during the shie Hassaikai raid was shocked.

Eri smiled at Midoryia as he hugged him tight. Midoryia returned the hug.

Midoryia jumped up in the air for Todoroki to just freeze his feet. Midoryia used his left arm to punch the air, breaking the ice and the stadium filled with dust in the air.

Todoroki surrounded himself with ice so he didn't fly out of the stadium. Both Midoryia and Todoroki were injured.

Midoryias right fingers and his left arm were broken. Todoroki was covered in front.

Todoroki sent ice at him again to just use his pointer finger, turning it from a red color to a more purple color.

"You're trembling Todoroki. There's a limit to how much cold your body can handle. Everyone is fighting with all they got. You want to win with half your power? COME AT ME WITH ALL YOU GOT!"

"What are you planning? Did my old man put you up to this?" Todoroki asked.

"Screw him." Midoryia said.

Midoryia just looked away from everyone and whistled. Everyone just chuckled. Endeavor groaned once again.

Todoroki ran at Midoryia. But his movement was slow from the Frost. Todoroki jumped at Midoryia only for him to get punched in the gut. Even spit flew out of his mouth.

"Damn, I didn't realize he got punched that hard." Kaminari said grabbing his stomach

After getting up, Todoroki ran back at Midoryia, trying to get behind him. But Midoryia just pivoted on his right foot so he couldn't get behind.

Midoryia flicked a finger, send the both of them backwards. The fight went on just like this for several minutes.

Midoryia put his thumb in his mouth, using his cheek to flick his thumb destroying the ice. Midoryia landed another punch to Todoroki.

"Right now I think you should stop screwing around."

"Shut up" Frost started to cover Todoroki's right leg.

"Its ok for you to become who you want to be"

Todoroki just stared at Midoryia with wide eyes.

"Here comes one of Midoryia's famous speeches." Sero said.

"Dude, Midoryia's speeches are a live saver" Kirishima said.

"What do you mean by that, kid?" Hawks asked.

"Well, during the Shie Hassaikai raid, I wasn't confident in my power at all. But Midoryia went on about how I'm not weak. I just need to believe in myself and be confident in my skills. He helped me push myself to my limits to better myself" Kirishima explained. "So once again, thank you so much Midoryia. I owe it all to you. You're why I want to be stronger."

Midoryia just smiled at the boy knowing how much he meant to Kirishima. He knew Midoryia wasn't a man of many words in a situation like this. So they both just nodded at each other.

"Its not his flames. They belong to you. Just like your eyes. They both belong to you. No one else."

Todoroki's eye started to glow and soon that turned into a full raging fire.

"Young Midoryia, don't tell me... you're trying to save Young Todoroki instead of winning." All Might smiled down at his successor.

All of the Frost on Todoroki was now melting away from the flames. Todoroki just stared at Midoryia with fire in his eyes.

"I want to be a hero too" Todoroki said as Midoryia just smiled at Todoroki.

Todoroki noticed his father talking to him, but he just ignored it.

"Why are you smiling?" Todoroki asked. "With those injuries... in this situation... you're crazy... don't blame me for what happens next.

Todoroki used his feet to summon ice and his flames grew larger. Midoryia powered One For All throughout his body.

Cementos did his best to rise a bunch of Cement barricades. Midnight ripped part of her outfit to let her gas loose

Midoryia launched himself at Todoroki while Todoroki wounded back, charging up his flames

"Midoryia... I thank you"

The two boys released all their power on each other as a bunch of Cement barricades rose from the ground trying to limit the damage.

The stadium was filled with a bright light. As fast as it came, it disappeared. The stadium was silent. Todoroki was laying on his ice while Midoryia was laying in the grass.

"THE WINNER IS SHOTO TODOROKI"

"Midoryia, you did all that to save my son? You put yourself in that much pain, just for him" Rei asked the young boy. Midoryia nodded.

"I couldn't let Todoroki stay trapped in that prison of his. I couldn't let him suffer like that. I know what feels like to be like that. So, I did what a hero did. I wanted to save Shoto from his prison" Midoryia smiled at Shoto's mother. Shoto was smiling at his savior. Midoryia saw this smile, making him feel so much more happier.

"At least he's using his flames" Endeavor said as he got reward with a slapp in the head with Hawks wings.

"Way to ruin the mood" Hawks said disappointed.

"Midoryia, thank you so much for all you've done for my brother" Fuyumi said bowing to Midoryia. Natsu soon followed and did the same.

Dabi on the other hand didn't say anything. But he was smiling, knowing his brother has some great friends on his side.

"Now you know the great importance of Midoryia to everyone. If he wasn't here, most of you wouldn't be as strong as you are right now. But this next fight would make you laugh though"
