James POV

Isabelle and Alec had returned with grim looks on their faces. Jace came back a while later looking emotionless.

"We want answers." James, Cecily, and Archer demanded, their arms crossed and a determined look on each of their faces.

Jace held James gaze for a moment"I think its time they know. She's already here so they're going to find out eventually."

James blinked. Who is she? Is it his mother? James head raced with questions. They all sat down at the dining room table. Jace cleared his throat before beginning.

"Your mother is alive." James opened his mouth to interrupt. "Let me finish. Her brother, your uncle is Sebastian Morgenstern." James knew the name. The Shadowhunter's avoided talking about  him."He wanted to make Clary his Queen. He had let's say an unhealthy obsession over her." Ewww. James felt sick to his stomach.

"We went to Edom to fight him, but he said he'd stop fighting if Clary gave herself to him. Clary of course accepted. We were kept prisoner there for more nine months.. Then  one day Clary opened the door to the room I had been staying in. She had told me she had just given birth. At first I thought it was Sebastian's but it  wasn't, it was you." James put two and two together.

"So you guys did 'it' in a demon dimension!" Everyone burst out laughing except for Jace who rolled his eyes.

"Don't interrupt. Soon after you were born Sebastian sent us home. He was angry you weren't his kid. Months after we got home I found a note by my bedroom window. It was from Clary. She told me how she had another child, a girl. Her name is Seraphina. She is your half sister."

James was shocked. He had a sister, a real sister.

"Sebastian has sent her. She is the most powerful Shadowhunter alive. She is going going to win this war. The Clave won't listen to our warnings. Clary and I have kept sending each other messages. The Clave members dieing should be enough to convince the Clave but we are still going to lose."

James sat there frozen. He had expected something big was going on, but he hadn't thought this big.

"What do we do? Did Mom say anything that would help stop her?" James's voice was desperate.

Jace's voice sounded distant when he said"We just have to hope Seraphina will change her mind. No one will win in a fight against her."

A plan slowly formed in James's head" I could convince her. I am her brother, and I'm quite charming with the ladies." He smirked.

"That might work. But no one knows were she is." Isabelle said in a duh voice.

"She's right here, and she brought guests." A voice from behind said. Everyone slowly turned around.
