Chappy #5

Short chapter guys sorry I had a bit of writers block... :/

Zana's POV~

As we entered the moon dormitory.. Something felt off. The air was thicker. No one was around yet I could sense them somewhere. The door creaked shut and Senri began walking up the stairs. He set me down in front of my room and was about to bid me a good night when I gripped his jacket.

"Please Senri...... C-Can I sleep with you? I-In your r-room?"

He didn't hesitate at all in his answer. "Of course you can Zana..... Common." He picked me up again and started walking in the opposite direction.

He opened the door and set me on his bed. "Takuma isn't here today so it's safe."

I left my cloak on just in case he came under his orders, and laid down. 'Shouldn't school be fun? A nice opportunity? Bu-' A knock interrupted my thoughts. I sensed several vampires standing out the door.

"I'll check. Stay on the bed." I heard Senri order using telepathy, before standing cautiously.

He walked over to the door without hesitation, but almost like a robot, and opened the door slightly. "What do you guys want? Here to take me away again? Or are you here to take Zana?"

"We're sorry we did that Senri... We're not here on Kaname's orders..." I heard Rima say.

"We wanted to apologize.... We're all sorry for being on Dorm President's side... But he made us do as he said using compulsion..." Ruka pleaded with Senri. I sat up.

"Can you let them in Senri?" I called to him in a small voice. He looked at me, softly gazing into my eyes for any fear lingering, and turned to open the door fully. There stood: Ruka, Rima, Takuma, Akatsuki, and Hanabusa.

"Kaname-sama has business with the Senate so he is not here at the moment." Hanabusa said as he walked in.

I looked at them and could read the pity they had all over their faces. "Don't feel bad guys... It's my own fault I got into this with.... Him." Ruka was the first to speak about my hood.

"Please... Zana, why don't you take off you hood? We're not outside, nor is there any light which is too bright for your eyes..."

"Kaname cut my bangs off... They don't look nice so I sought permission from Headmaster Cross to wear this hood until they have grown some." Ruka didn't seem so convinced..

"They can't be that bad....." She went to touch the top of the hood, but it shocked her.

"AH!" She was more frightened then anything. Now that Ruka had been the one to try, of course Akatsuki would next try to get the hood off of me as payback.

"What was that for?!" Hanabusa exclaimed surprised at what just happened.

"Why you little....." Akatsuki came after me but I just stood there, still as a stone, and watched what the cloak did. He grabbed the cloak and tugged hard at it, no matter how much it stung him, but the hood didn't budge one bit. One of the strings used to keep its form around my neck whipped his arm, causing him to jump back with a growl from the pain... He wasn't bleeding though.

Rima was getting angrier by the second. She saw how both her friends had been hurt and thought I was the one doing it. She shot lightning bolts at me and I didn't comprehend what was happening until the cloak enlarged to hide my form from the electricity being aimed at me.. Senri only stared at me wide-eyed... Mouth agape he tried to form words, but none came out.

"Senri. Zana." Takuma gently called as the garment went back to its original form. "What did you do?"

"I-It wasn't Senri he had nothing to do with this. I-I got this c-cloak from the headm-master so I d-don't know what it does." I bowed my head, it made little difference as I was the shortest one there. "I'm sorry it caused you pain, Ruka, Akatsuki."

As I lifted my head I felt arms wrap around me. They didn't feel like Senri's at all which were strong and comforting; they felt soft and inviting. I knew it was Ruka, from the long tan hair obscuring my view of Rima's nasty glare.

...

After our moment everyone left except Senri to sleep as dawn was upon us... Takuma went with Hanabusa and Akatsuki to their room.
