Nico walked through the big town, he carried a big, red sack over his shoulder, full of Iron, copper, and metals. A dimond pickaxe was in his other hand. The man was trying to get back to his house.

The snow went down harshly, the night sky made the outside world look beautiful.

The man was tired, he had to mine and look for many, many ingots and metals for Gold's time machine. Well, he didn't have to, he wanted to, Nico wanted to help, to help get out of the world they're in.

Nico turns towards the path to his house, breathing a bit heavily because of how heavy the sack was. How can he even carry this sack anyways?!

The house was dark, no light was shown in the inside of the building. Nico slips through the door, feeling the rush of cold air as he shut the door. The inside of the house was freezing, and the lights wouldn't turn on. Did the power go out? The man thought as he dropped the sack beside him, his arms relaxing from not holding that sack.

Indeed, the power was out. Which means the electric heater he installed in his house a few days ago stopped working. Nico groaned in annoyance, he can't sleep here.

Nico settled the diamond pickaxe on the table near where he stood before walking back and gripping onto the sack again and went out the door. Where can he go now?

The man thought of going to Gold and Karan's house, since he has to drop off the sack anyways. So he began trudging through the snow towards the duo's house.

_____

Nico stopped at the house, sweat going down his face, but he wiped it away quickly with his sleeve. The house was also dark, it looked abandoned. But Nico knocked on the wooden door anyway.

Nobody answered.

"Hello? Is anyone home?" The man asked as he knocked again. And again, nobody answered.

After some time, Nico opened the door. It looked abandoned, almost everything is gone. Except the time machine. It stood in the corner of the room, looking completed. The man huffed in annoyance, and just setted the bag next to the door.

The power was out in Gold and Karan's house as well, and it was freezing in the house also. Nico groaned in annoyance as he slipped out the door. Now where can he go?

Nico realized after some time that he can go Frost’s, Raffessor, and Florian's house, they probably have power. So he began to walk to the house. Gosh he did lots of walking today, his legs were tired, and they were like bricks.

____

The man stopped at the door before knocking. The door was open almost immediately, and a man with split colored hair appeared in front of the door. "Hey Nico," Frost greeted, giving him a small wave as a smile forked on his lips. "Do you need anything?"

"Yeah, my generator is out of power, and it's to late to fix it right now. So, is it okay if I stay here for the night?" Nico said, and Frost replied almost instantly. "Of course you can stay for the night! I can get Florian to help fix your generator! Come, come inside!" He moved to the side so Nico can come inside, and Nico did, a small smile on his lips as he entered. Frost began to explain the interior of the house.

"And the guest bedroom is upstairs on the left. Anything else you need to know?" He asked, making hand gestures as he explained everything. Nico nodded, "yeah, thank you for allowing me to stay."

"You're welcome bud! Now I hope you get good sleep." Frost said before blowing out the nearest candle that was lighting the small, wooden room and walking away, heading towards his bedroom.

Nico’s smile grew before he began to follow the direction to the guest bedroom. He was happy that he was able to stay here, instead of lying in a cold house to soon freeze to death, and Nico didn't want to die that way.

The man walked through the open door and sat on the bed, staring up at the ceiling for some time before drifting off to sleep, hoping that tomorrow will be a great day.
