You can practically feel the dark aura illuminating from the snail, how venomously he spat the word out. Zoro was extremely pissed

"Oh Roronoa, I forgot I called you"

'That jackass. He did it on purpose'

"Wait Zoro it's not what-mph" I felt something shoved and fastened to my mouth

'He gagged me'

"Ssh princess I'm on a call"

I tried ungagging myself but it was futile, I couldn't and that grin was still on his face. I really want to kick that guy's face so hard he would barely recognize himself

"Roronoa it's good to hear from you. My name is Suga Wara but you can call me Suga-sama, we met before remember"

"Where's Sanji?"

'Zoro' I could already feel the tears welling up in my eyes 'I really miss him. Fuck I can't cry now'

"Now now, sorry, I can't tell you"

"Wh-"

"But I can give you an opportunity to get princess here"

He caressed my cheek causing me to jerk away from the touch and growl. He merely chuckled at this then turned his attention back to the snail

"What opportunity?"

"I want to fight you Roronoa. If you win, and that's a big if, I'll tell you where he is. You might not reach him on time but you gotta take a risk right?"

"When?"

"An hour from now"

"Where?"

"Where we first met and don't be late or say goodbye to blondie forever"

"I accept"

His smirk somehow got wider 'Boy do I really hate this guy'

"Since I'm such a good guy I'll allow you guys a final farewell" He momentarily put the transponder snail down then ungagged me "Make sure you savour this moment because this might be the last time you ever hear from him"

I growled at him then he brought the snail close to me

"Zoro?"

"Sanji"

I felt a wave of relief and calm wash over me at hearing his voice. It might be better then smoking at calming me. I could feel so much emotions from that one word; worry, relief, joy and ....guilt? I'll ask about that later. It just felt so good to hear his voice again. I knew mine also had the same effect on him because of how is tone felt much softer

"Are you okay?"

"Fine but if you don't get me out of here quick I'm gonna lose it" I say in a joking manner hoping to lighten the mood

"Right" I heard the slight sadness lingering in his voice. Wait that's it

"Zoro don't be so down. Hurry up and save me" There was a brief silence

'Come on Zoro. Please get it'

"Understood"

I internally smiled at that. It's a good thing we can read and understand each other so well

"Zoro I guess this is g-"

"No"

"Huh?"

"See you soon" I gasp then smile. In saying those words he is making it clear that we would be together soon. I can't wait

"Right. See you soon"

The transponder snail was then taken back and Suga hang up. My heart ached a little at the loss of  Zoro's voice but the promise he gave me made it bearable

"Wohoo. I can't wait for the fight. I'm gonna grab lunch, Shiro ya coming?"

"No"

"Okay. Byeeee"

He finally left. Thank God. The room was silent. It was kinda comforting till it was broken by glasses

"Hopefully your lover got the message"

My breath hitched and I was speechless. I set my gaze on Shiro, surprised and confused. I can't believe he understood  wait if he knew why didn't he stop me or say anything? as if reading my mind he answered

"I don't want you to meet the same fate  like all the others"

I was surprised by this. Is he not the bad guy? Finally finding my words I continued the conversation

"Then let me go"

"I can't do that"

"Why?"

"I'm indebted to the master. He saved my life and gave me a purpose. Let me put it this way, would easily betray your captain or lover?" My eyes widened a bit by the statement then I calmed down and replied the obvious answer

"No"

"So you understand" I looked at him defeated and sighed 'Zoro hurry' " The master is approaching soon"

At that I felt my whole world shatter, Zoro wouldn't make it on time. My heart was beating fast and there was clear panic in my expression. I  was so lost in panic, I didn't notice the look of pity that overtook Shiro's features

"I am truly sorry. Is there any request you have? that is within my boundary of course"

"D-do you have a cigarette?"

Third person POV
"Yay so all we have to  do is let Zoro kick that guy's ass and we get Sanji, easy" Luffy said cheerily. hopper and Usopp also joining in the merriment

"Is not that simple Luffy?" Miya intervened

"What do you mean?"

"I'm pretty sure what Miya-san is trying to say captain is that one hour is enough time for them to do anything to cook-san and we also don't know how long the fight would last giving them more time"

Luffy, Usopp and Chopper deflated at this

"So we need to find Sanji now" Nami stated seeing where this conversation was headed

"Right but the question is how?" Robin questioned

"Let's just bust into houses until we find him"

"Luffy no and besides there's too many houses" Miya reasoned with her lover

"All the tall buildings"

Everyone turned their heads to look at Zoro, who has been quiet through this whole conversation

"Excuse me?"

"What the cook said 'Don't be so down. Hurry up and save me'. What he was trying to tell us was we shouldn't focus on the ground but higher. He was implying he was somewhere high up" The looked at him shocked

"Wow, you guys really are made for each other" Miya cooed

"Huh"

"Nami can you make a rough map of the town and mark out all the tall buildings"

"Hai"

Nami grabbed a paper and pen and made her way to the window and began drawing. After she was done she laid it down and showed it to the crew

"Nami you are forgetting one more tall building" Robin spoke

"Huh? I am where?"

"The one we are currently in"

Gasps filled the room

"You mean Sanji could be here the whole time"

"Seems so"

The room went silent as they were all contemplating it. Miya lets out a sigh

"What a pain. Anyway here's the plan, we split into two groups. Nami, Robin, Brook, Chopper and Usopp will stay here and check if Sanji is here while Luffy, Zoro and I will checkout the other buildings on the map and also escort Zoro to the fight since he'll probably get lost anyway"

"HEY"

"Everyone clear with the plan"

"HAI"

Nami, Robin, Usopp, Brook and Chopper are all seated on the couch trying to come up with a plan to know if Sanji is truly in the building, and it's not really going well

"No that won't work, we'll get caught" They all let out an exasperated sigh

"Well then how are we going to find the kidnapper"

"Kidnapper?"

The group froze in the shock at the voice. They all turned towards the voice only to see Enji holding a tray of drinks and looking confused

"What's this about kidnappers?"

"You know he might be helpful" Robin whispered to the hearing of the crew. They all looked at each other and nodded then turned their attention back to the still confused Enji

(20 minutes later)

"So you guys are pirates and your cook, Sanji? is a blonde who got kidnapped because of the Bachelor. You found out he is in a tall building but you don't know which one. Some of your crew are out there looking through all the tall buildings in town. And you guys are tasked to check my dad's hotel to see if your friend is here and you need my help. Did I get it all right?" They all nodded. Nami then spoke

"Please we really need your help, you've got more access around here, would you help us?"

Enji looked at all their desperate and pleading faces and couldn't help but want to aid them. Not helping them would have been a jerk move

"Of course I'll help. What do you need me to do?"

"Thank you Enji-san but we are ashamed to say we don't have a solid plan except for barging into people's rooms" Robin said

Enji seemed to be in thought then suddenly an idea hit him

"I've got it" The others all looked at him "Well you know in hotels we keep records of all those who sign in here and since you guys have the kidnapper's name then if we get these records we would know if he signed in or not"

Enji raised his head to be met with eyes that were practically shimmering with hope

"You're awesome" Chopper exclaimed

"Yes we got our plan" Nami shouted gleefully

"Well it won't be easy" Enji interrupted their celebration "The one who is in charge of the records, Mr. Nakamura, I never really liked him, he's such a stickler. He keeps all records in his office and he rarely leaves them unattended"

"So if we want to pull this off we need a distraction" Robin concluded. At this everyone began racking their brains for possible distraction ideas

"I know what to do Yohohohoho" Brook spoke in an up beat tone

"*lets out a breath of relief* I'm finally done with today's paperwork, now I can go to tomorrow's paperwork * chuckles happily*" He went to a drawer pulled out the paperwork and was about to place it down when suddenly

"GHOST! HELP!"

"AHHH!!"

Screams of terror and panic were heard from outside

"What the-" An employee them came rushing into his office, panting and looking a bit roughed up

"Mr. Nakamura, sir, we have a problem. Customers are wreaking havoc and running around screaming. It's utter chaos" Nakamura placed the paperwork down

"Quic get all other employees to help with this. They might ruin the hotel" He commands running out of the room then locking the door

"Yohohohoho"

"AH! GHOST! RUN!!!!"

Brook in his ghost form was floating around scaring people

"Yohoho all according to plan"

Nami, Usopp, Robin, Chopper and Enji make their way towards Nakamura's office

"Chopper, Robin you guys stay on look out" Nami ordered. They both nodded and went into position

"Damn it's locked" Enji said attempting to open the door again. Nami smirked and pulled out a paper clip

"Don't worry I got this"

After a while it finally clicked  open and they  rushed inside and started their search

During the chaos, Robin was close watching it unfold and also looking out when suddenly someone passed her. She felt the hair on her neck stand up and she suddenly felt uncomfortable by the presence. It was a weird feeling like fear. She turned but didn't see that person. She desperately began to look at all sides feeling panic build up

"AHH!"

The screams brought her back from her state of panic. She shrugged it off and focused on the task ahead but 'What was that?'

"Well this is the last drawer it has to be here" Nami said. She took a deep breath then opened it and "HUH?!"

"What?" Usopp asked

"Look at all these binders, this is going to take time"

"NAMI THEIR COMING BACK"

Chopper ran into the office looking panicked. This caused Nami to let out a frustrated groan

"You know what, take them all we got to go" They all nodded, took all the binders then ran

"I hope the others are having it easy" Usopp said

"They just have to ask if Suga Wara is staying at those places, it's simple

Somewhere

"Oh that's great"

"Let me gat you your ke-"

BOOM CRASH THUD

The door  burst open and out emerged from the dust was Zoro with two swords drawn and  a murderous look on his face, and Luffy with his fists at the ready with a similar look

"WHERE'S SANJI?"

Some people passed out while others screamed in horror. Behind Zoro and Luffy stood Miya who looked hopelessly at them

"You guys really need stop that"

The clouds got dark and it was clearly going to rain, they didn't need Nami to tell them that. The hour is about to end, Zoro, Miya an Luffy are currently at the meeting point

"*sighs* hopefully the others are having better luck"

"We didn't even finish searching all the buildings" Luffy added. A tick mark popped on Miya's head

"Gee  maybe if you guys didn't bulldoze in there things would have gonna smoother and faster, baka" She emphasized the baka by hitting him on the head. Not hard enough to leave a bruise but a small bump

"Geez Sorry"

Zoro was at the side watching the couple's quarrel. It was oddly satisfying, kinda reminds him of him and Sanji

'Hang on cook'

"So you made it"

Zoro was brought out of his thoughts then turned to gaze at the annoying voice and it's owner standing on the rooftop

"Suga"

"Roronoa"

Lighting striked marking the soon to all out brawl between swordsmen. The gaze they had on each other was filled with so much intensity. A raindrop falls, the moment it lands
