Bella came back to town in time for prom. She had to go in a boot, because of her broken leg, and a borrowed dress from Alice that didn't do her justice.

Aurora got ready with Alice and Rosalie. Aurora got completely ready and the girls did their hair and makeup before the two ran home to put their dresses on. 

Aurora loved her dress. It hugged her curves perfectly and was very flattering on her. Alice picked a great dress for Aurora. Bella was still getting ready and Edward was showing up for her later, not that Aurora cared. She was completely done with Edward after what happened with the tracker. Bella was mad at Aurora for hitting Edward with electricity and not talking to Aurora, even though she was just protecting herself.

Aurora walked down the stairs and heard Jasper and Charlie talking. Charlie laughed at something Jasper said, Jasper chuckling too until he froze seeing Aurora.

"Wow." He says, causing Aurora to smile brightly.

"You look amazing, Roe." Charlie said

"Thanks dad." Aurora responded.

"You look absolutely stunning, darlin'." Jasper said in awe.

"Thank you. You look dashing in the suit." Aurora said as she straightened Jasper's black tie.

"I need pictures before you go." Charlie said as he held up a camera. Jasper and Aurora posed for some pictures, and Charlie got a picture with Aurora too. After he got the pictures he wanted, Charlies said, "Alright you two have fun. Be back by curfew."

"I will. Bye dad." Aurora said

"I'll get her home safe and sound on time. Bye Charlie" Jasper said and the two walked out the door to Carlisle's car. Jasper borrowed it for the night. 

"Hey guys." Aurora greeted the other Cullens when her and Jasper approached them.

"Hey" They all replied in greeting.

"Monte Carlo. Not my favorite theme." Rosalie says

"It's not bad. What was your favorite?" Aurora asks

"One year we had a Masquerade Ball."

"That sounds amazing."

"It definitely was." Rosalie says with a smile.

"There's Edward and Bella." Emmett comments

Aurora looks. "Bella's been ignoring me since I shot lightning at Edward in the garage. She's mad that I attacked him, forget about the fact that he was squeezing my wrist so hard that it is still bruised."

"She's mad at you? You were just defending yourself." Noah says

"Yup. I guess because I hurt her precious Edward." Aurora says with an eye roll. "Doesn't matter what he does to me, but I can't do anything to him, even in defense. It makes no sense but whatever. I'm done with Edward, and if Bella wants to say screw our friendship and be up his ass, that's her prerogative." Aurora says before grabbing Jasper's hand since a slow song started playing. "Slow song." Aurora says, "Dance with me?"

Jasper smiles. "Absolutely darlin'." He says before spinning her, causing her to let out a giggle and then leading her to the dance floor.

Rosalie looks over to Bella and Edward before saying. "They're both idiots. Arie is the best friend anyone could ever have and they blew it. She won't forgive them easily."

"Yeah. She refuses to be used by people and she feels like the two of them only want to use her. She feels that they don't care about her for anything other than her power." Noah says

"Let's just forget about the drama and have fun." Alice says and she pulls Noah to dance. Emmett and Rosalie both laugh and follow them onto the dance floor.

Aurora and Jasper decide to take a break from the dance and walk outside. Aurora leads him to the woods, far enough that they can't be seen by anyone, but close enough that Jasper can still hear the music from Prom.

"Where are we going, darlin'?" Jasper asks

"You'll see." Aurora says with a smile. They approached the clearing she wanted to go to. She used her powers to make the cherry blossom trees bloom, and then sent light up in the air. The light she created looks like twinkling lights or fireflies in the sky. "Ta-da."

"Wow. It's beautiful darlin'."

"I'm glad you like it. I wanted something special for just the two of us tonight. I came up with this."

"It's amazing, Aura." he says "May I have this dance?" He asks, holding out his hand.

"Anytime you want." Aurora says with a smile. Jasper pulls her close and they slow dance together in the beautiful moment they created.
