"Phew!" Sig teleported us out of that place.

"Are you okay?" I look up at him and his golden eyes was exactly like that other guardian. I sighed and step back from him. His hands instantly trying to pull me back.

"No, Sig. Answer me first. Who is that forest Guardian?" He let me go and his expression remain impassive.

"There are only few Guardians in this world so of course I know him. I don"t know why he's here. What I know is that he can't be summoned." He reach his hand again and I back away, flinching when I hit something. I look behind me and James' worried look was hilarious.. that's quite a face.

"Lucas.."

"James give him to me and I'll heal him. The Forest Guardian used Black Magic to drain his spirit. Give him to me now!" I look down at my hands.. They were filled with dirt? W-what is.. It's not dirt.. my skin is turning black!

"What.. What the fuck is this?!" Sig grab my arms and he wrapped his strongs arms around me. I screamed when I felt cold water splash over us. What the?! Did Sig just threw us in the pond?!

"Get off! You dumb dog!" I coughed and struggled off his grip but he wont let me go. That's when I notice his skin was glowing. I sat up and stilled. Watching the clear water slowly tainted with black, oily like goo. I watch my hands as the black stuff wash off. I coughed again.

"Yuck! That smells bad.." I covered my mouth when I felt like throwing up.

"Mm!" Sig was taking off my hands.

"Let it out!" He yelled then I watch James jump in the pond and grab my hands.

"Let go!" He yelled as he pulled my hands off my mouth. I vomitted something horrible... It was black goo.. it smelled horrible making me almost faint.

"Stay awake Lucas! Let it all out. C'mon, son." I grip onto James arm and threw up again.. I couldn't take it no more.. I almost passed out but when Sig cup my drench cheek. I was able to open my eyes.

"S-Sig.." I was panting and Sig was still healing me.

"I was able to get most of it out. But I need another purification spell. Now, James." James nodded and Sig stood, carrying me like I weighted nothing.

"I'll teleport us back to my house." James said and the next thing I know I was under water.

What?! I sat up and caughed.

"Holy--Are you trying to fucking kill me?!" I caughed again and saw Sig glaring at me. I was in a bath tub I eyed the water. It was dark.. Sig pulled the drain and let the dark water ooze out my skin. He replug the tub and turn on the fauset making me shiver as the water poured against my naked body.

"D-Dad?" James was chanting something. He was reading a familiar book. It was a book of high level purification spells. He was glaring at it like it'll burn any second. He wasn't even blinking. Then Sig joined him. He chanted as well. I shivered again and felt the last drop of black goo fell like blood out my nose. I coughed again and the black goo came out of my mouth and onto my palm. I can feel my own spirit.. it was running low. Too low. I feel so weak and it doesn't actually felt great.

"It's all out.." I said and fuck am I shiverring like a wet chihuahua. It hurts.. my body hurts. My head, my skin, my bones.. everything hurts.

"It's gone! Enough! Please.." They still finished the last repeat of that spell.. then the water turned off. Sig quickly scooped me off and the warmth I felt quickly made my trembling go away.

"Son.." James wrapped some warm towel around me and I smiled weakly at him.

"Thanks.." I know that look.. He wanted to ask what happened but he stopped hisself.

"Sig let's take him in his room." Sig eyed me, the frown looking permanent on his face.

When I opened my eyes I was covered with white blankets.. hmm? warm.. this are not blankets. It were soft fur.

"Sig.." I muttered and the fur moved and turn into a white cotton fabric.

"How are you feeling?" I look up at those golden eyes. They look restless..

"Hmm.. I'm fine.. I wanted to ask you something.. The Forest Guardian who.." My eyes widen and I blushed when I felt his soft lips on mine.

"Don't.. not now.. hearing that makes me want to leave you and find him!" He whispered/yelled through gritted teeth. His fangs grew an inch long and it retracted back to normal.

"I'll fucking kill him if he gets near you again.. I'll fucking kill him!" He hugs me tight and I felt his body tremble with not cold but anger..

"Sig.." I sighed.

"That Dark magic is strong. Too strong. You could've died if it were not to Sig."

"Mom.." Katherine went in my room and wiped the falling tears off her cheek.

"You could've died Lucas! What the hell are you thinking?!" I sat up and Sig followed. I then saw James came in and stood by the door way. I sighed again.

"It's not exactly my fault." I rolled my eyes.

"Look at the bright side at least the purification spells actually work on me." I scratch my hair and look down when both Katherine and James glared at me. Then when I look up at Sig he too was glaring at me. Jeez!

"Fine.. I'm sorry. I was.. how could I explain what happen?" I sighed again before continuing. "I was drawn to it, just like before back when I was 13.."

"It?" James finally went in.

"That book. Clair de Lune."

"So you followed it?" Katherine said, sounding calm but I know better.

"Yes.. when I did, I teleported to his place. That Forest Guardian who had the same eyes as Sig. He was angry.. He was mad because I made a strong bond with Sig, more than of a spell bound.. A life bound. I don't know why he was so mad in that reason so I ask Sig.. then all the black goo shit happened." I shivered at the memory of black shits coming up my throat.

"What does the Forest Guardian want? Rather who? Sig?" Katherine eyed Sig.

"I will talk with him. I don't know how he got here as well. I know he can't be summoned by anyone. Not anyone normal anyway. His last master was from 500 years ago.." Sig look down at his palm.. I grab his hand and he eyed me.

"Was it you?" I asked and Katherine quick intake of breathe showed her shock while Sig, he just eyed me.

"You were his Master before that's why he was so Furious at me. He hated that his Master, the only one that ever summoned him was enslave by a Human. Is that it?"

"Lucas.." I was mad. I was so angry I could bite him!

"Listen Sig! Go talk to him for all I care but if you do, I have to be there with you."

"Lucas, what are you saying?!" James finally spoke up. I glance at him briefly and look back at Sig.

"Lucas no. It's dangerous! He even used dark magic on you!" Sig looked like he is so pissed but worried at the same time. Make up your mind idiot dog!

"You promised and I ordered you before didn't I? You will never leave me Sig. You can never leave my side. Unless I wished for it. Not now. I gave you the choice but you decided to be binded with me forever. Now what can be your excuse?" He shut his eyes tight and rubbed his temple. He looked like he just had a Guardian sized Migraine.

"Lucas.." I faced Katherine and smiled.

"I'll be fine mom.."

"Lucas you don't have to involve yourself with this." I inserted my hands in the pockets of my jacket.

"Sig, What concerns you, concerns me as well. In the beginning you always call me, Master. Why can't you trust me then?"

"I trust you, Lucas but I don't and can't trust my self in protecting you. The forest guardian is strong enough to even.." he stopped from walking making me do the same and look behind me. I turn and sighed. "To even.. kill you."

"He can't kill me Sig" I think.. "I'll be fine. C'mon.." I offered my hand and he stared at it. Sig.. he really does look worried for my life but I am not that weak. He took my hand and we walk hand in hand with me leading the way towards our new home.
