POV Alessandra Siciliano

The party had finally come to an end, I had stripped from the five inch heels and slipped on my soft comfortable slippers and wore my night dress. Entering the library where I had always found my peace and comfort, the library was the tallest out of all the rooms in this mansion, there would usually be a librarian as we had sliding ladders and he would know where to find which book.

But no one was allowed in the library when I was here.

I grabbed the book which I had began to read when I returned back to Italy, I still had a few pages remaining.
"Pregnant?" The voice that I would not forget even in my sleep came from behind, I turned around to see him not to far from me.

"I never thought you were a creep." I spoke, closing the book and placing it on the table.
"Ouch, sweetie I don't believe you really know who I am." He whispered a smirk was on his lips, I rolled my eyes but a smile formed on my lips.

"What I know is enough, Petrov Nikolaev." I whispered, ready to leave but his palm on my hip pushed me back against the bookshelf.
"I just want to know what is wrong with Alessia?" He whispered, his eyes looked right into my blue eyes as if he was trying to look through me.

"What are you talking about?" I asked removing his arms from my waist giving us both some distance, he straightened his blazer and cleared his throat.
"Does she have bipolar, any medical condition that I should know about?" He asked again, I narrowed my eyes confused.

"Excuse me!" I said slightly offended that he was saying my sister was not normal, in a way I believed that but I was her sister and I was allowed to say what ever I wanted but he had no right.
"Don't get me wrong, before I went to my trip I was living a fantasy a dream full of love and I had hopes but after I came back I felt our relationship back on stage one." I stiffened as he spoke, full of love! Fantasy, Dream and Hopes that's how he felt with me.

"For your kind information Mr Nikolaev my sister is mentally and physically fine, she does not have bipolar disorder she just loves who she loves and dislikes who she dislikes." I spoke grabbing my book deciding I need to leave before I say something that would put me on the spot light.

"Alessandra...look, okay I won't talk about Alessia anymore. Let's talk." He called from behind, I heard him sigh and could only imagine him rubbing his face with his palms.

I turned around and approached the couch before settling down.

"Why didn't you come to your sister and my wedding?" He asked, for some reason every question he threw at me felt as if he was interrogating me.

"I was in London." I spoke, he stared at me waiting for me to carry on making me sigh.
"I went to the university over there, studying English Literature and Ancient History. Whilst your wedding was taking place I had exams which I was unable to miss." I spoke only saying parts of the truth, I was not going to tell him how father wanted us hidden from the world to protect us.

"How about you? Your obviously much older than Alessia so did you go to university?" I asked, he shifted his body so he was know facing me.
"I did in fact, I studied dual major in Business Administration and Business Finance I passed with flying colours." He joked making me laugh, I had unconsciously placed my palm on my stomach I had not realised it until I saw his eyes on my stomach.

"I wanted to start a family, but I know she's not ready. Not when she's not ready to accept us as I thought she had." He whispered, pain was clearly seen in his face as he shook his thoughts away and gave me a smile.
"Who knows it's may be closer than you expect." I whispered, his eyebrows narrowed at my words and I had mentally cursed myself. I needed to leave.

"I have to go, nice to meet you." I spoke hastily, I stood up and walked away. I was out of the library door before he could utter another word. I stopped when I heard banging noises and glass shattering in the kitchen.

Grabbing the nearest item which happened to be antique statue around 20cm tall. I creeped down the dark hallway as I made my way towards the kitchen.

I awaited for a word or sign that would tell me who ever was inside the kitchen was not a threat.

"What are you doing here?" The voice was awfully familiar, and by the question I knew the person was not alone.
"You are carrying my child Sia." The other person spoke, at the mention of 'Sia' I froze I just hoped it was not what I thought. Sliding my fingers to the switch and watched it flicker on and there in the middle of the kitchen stood Paul and Alessia.

"Shh. We do not want everyone to hear this drama, Alessia tell him to go?" I whisper yelled, she looked between me and Paul before lowering her head and letting out a silent tear.
"Madame Siciliano, I may not hold a high status as you or Alessia but my love is not cheap. I have the same heart and that's beats as well, my skin holds blood which flows." Paul's words made me freeze on my spot, what was happening why was I melting to his words.

Remember what she did to you!

"She has a husband, so leave.NOW!" I spoke much more sternly, he lowered his gaze and turned towards the window he had climbed in from.
"Alessandra, please. Let me talk to him this once." She begged,  tears were steaming down and she looked different I had never seen Alessia so broken torn and lifeless.

Is this what love made her!

"Fine."
