Kobe's pov;

As I came out of my bathroom, I saw Amelia sleeping in my bed, curled up below the blankets. I got on the bed, laying beside her. I took my phone of the nightstand, sending the picture of the guy to Manolo. I told him to get all the information.

A few minutes he sent back a message, I looked at it and clenched my jaw. The guy is one of Vallyk's guards. Now, he has pictures of me and Amelia. I didn't mind if he saw me, but he saw Amelia too.

"Kobe, what's wrong?" 

I hadn't realize that Amelia woke up.

"Sorry, babygirl, did I wake you up?" 

She turned to face him, "No, it's fine. But is everything okay? You seem a bit tensed."

I placed my phone back on the nightstand, I sighed before pulling her close to my body. 

"Yeah, everything's okay," I connected my lips with her.

Author's pov;

The next morning, Amelia woke up but in and empty bed. She raised up, slightly confused. She was about to get off the bed when the bathroom door open, revealing a half naked Kobe. Amelia quickly covered her face with the blankets.

"Oh my God, he's shirtless," she whispered to herself.

She removed the blanket.. and he was still shirtless.

"Put your hoodie back on!" she said.

He chuckle, "Babygirl, remove the blankets, I like seeing you blush."

She slowly removed the blanket from her face, Kobe now on top of her.

"Like what you see?" he asked with a smirk.

She nodded, tracing her fingers over his abs, the water droplets sliding down his body. 

"Y-you're hot.."

He smiled, pecking her lips before walking over to his closet. 

"You're such a tease!" she told him.

"You call that teasing, I could show you what teasing really is, babygirl," he glanced back at her with a smirk.

She knew exactly what he meant ;)

"Oookay, I'll be going now," she said, getting on the floor.

"Go do you hygiene, I'm taking you somewhere," he told her.

She nodded before walking back to her room. She didn't question him, she just rolled with it. 

While showering, Amelia started to think about her mom and sister. She has been keeping in contact with them but she hasn't seen them since she left. She misses them.. a lot. 

After showering, she went back into her room. She changed into this....

"So, where exactly are we going?" she asked once she got in the car.

"It's a surprise, babygirl."

She pouted, "Nooo, tell me where we're going?"

Kobe chuckled, shaking his head no and kept focusing on the road.

Kobe has been driving for an hour now, Amelia kept begging him to tell her where they were going, but he just ignored her. 

And finally, they pulled up an unfamiliar house. Kobe got out of the car as Amelia did the same, he took her hand in his and walked to the front door. He rang the doorbell.

As the door opened, it brought tears to Amelia's eyes.

"Mom! I missed you so much!" she ran and hugged her. 

"I missed you too, baby," she said, kissing her forehead.

She pulled away, looking back at Kobe who smiled at her. 

"Thank you, Kobe!"

"My pleasure, babygirl," he kissed her lips.

Amelia's mom stood there, confused and lost. 

"Are you two dating?" she asked.

Amelia nodded her head, taking her hand and walked into the living room with her.

For the past hour, Amelia and her mom caught up with some things. Her mom told her that she made enough money for the past months, she was able to by this house, and send Lia (sister) in boarding school. 

She still works for Mrs. Morris but not full time anymore. And since she was interested in Kobe and Amelia, she question everything.

After they all ate lunch, it was time for Kobe and Amelia to head back home. But Amelia didn't want to leave just yet, she wanted to see Lia whose coming home tomorrow.

"Thanks for lunch, Mrs. Smith," Kobe thanked her.

"No problem, sir."

He looked at Amelia, taking her hand, "C'mon babygirl, let's go-"

She pulled back his hand, signaling Kobe to look at her. He knew exactly what her pouty face meant. 

"You wanna spend the night, don't you?"

She nodded, "Yes, I just wanna see my sister. You can pick me up tomorrow."

"Okay."

He pulled her by her waist, giving her a long kiss before leaving. 

"When are you gonna marry him?" her mom asked, coming out in the living room.

"MOM!"

"Ooh, and maybe give me grandchildren, huh?"

After drinking some water, Amelia made her way to the guest bedroom. She laid on the bed, and as she did, she got a text message from Kobe.

Hey, baby, I'm back at home now.  
I already miss you laying next to me.
Sleep well, though. 💗

Her;
Aw, baby, I miss you too.
Sleep well, handsome. 💗

Him;

......

 Handsome?

She smiled at the text before falling asleep.
