Aurora's POV:

we landed last night at 5 am in the morning, making me wake up at 1pm. the catch is, today was Yasmin's baby shower. she chose to make the baby shower in their mansion in sicily since i just got married and they were already staying here anyway. she's currently 8 months pregnant, alex is 3 months pregnant.

that's a lot of babies and pregnant ladies.

its been 30 minutes since i woke up, and i have been in the bathroom, puking my guts out. Leo wasn't even at home, he was at Kamal's mansion finishing some last minute paperwork before they left back to Lebanon.

i couldn't even get up without feeling pain.

i heard a knock on the door, so i got up and headed towards it while clutching my stomach. i opened the door and found chase standing there smiling at me.

"hey Rory" he leaned in for a hug

"he-" i felt myself wanting to vomit again, so i ran to the bathroom and puked.

"Aurora! what's going on? your sick?" he ran after me

"no- I'm fine, i probably just ate some expired food or something, I'm okay i feel better when i puke it out" i picked up the toothbrush and started brushing my teeth

"i have some pills that help, but i can take you to the hospital"

"no chase I'm okay, really. its Yasmin's baby shower and I'm not going to miss it or ruin it for Leo, he's the baby's godfather" i dried my hands after washing them

"okay then but if you feel worse and it doesnt get better I'm going to take you to the hospital" i hugged him

"thanks chase" he hugged me back and smiled

"come on get ready, we're going in an hour" i nodded and he left the room

i hopped in the shower and took a hot bath. 20 minutes later i got out of the bathroom and headed towards the walk-in closet. i stated picking out an outfit, and i settled with a beautiful sky blue dress.

i looked at myself in the mirror before starting to do my hair. and i made a discussion i may or may not regret, but life is too short for me to overthink.

i went to the bathroom's mirror and parted my hair, i held the hair scissor and started cutting my hair shoulder length. when i finished i looked at myself in the mirror and smiled.

"Aurora! hurry up were leaving in a minute" i heard Alex call for me from the hallway

i immediately got out of the bathroom after cleaning up everything, and then i headed downstairs to the parking. i reached chase's car and hopped in.

"hey guys" i sat down and closed the door

"hey ror- oh my god! your hair looks amazing!" Alex shouted excitedly

"what about her hai- Aurora Gambino! that is the best thing you've ever done to your hair" his eyes winded

"thank you guys, i like it too. now get the car moving i want to go to my goddaughters baby shower" chase got the car moving on the main road

30 minutes later we reached Kamal and Yasmin's mansion. we parked the car and got out. Alex, chase and i headed towards the door and chase knocked. Kamal opened the door and greeted us.

"glad you could make it!" he hugged chase and Alex

"thank you for inviting us" i

"Aurora! you look amazing" he chuckled as he hugged me

"wait till Leo sees her, he'll faint" Alex said

"come inside, Leo is in the back with the rest of the guests" Kamal guided us towards the backyard

we got there and the entire baby shower set up was beautiful and it was full of pink decorations. I saw Yasmin talking with both Amelia and Victoria, so i ran up to them.

"hey guys!" they turned around

"Aurora! we missed you so much" Amelia hugged me immediately

"its only been a week since the wedding" i laughed as we pulled away

she gasped "oh my god! you look amazing!"

"Aurora Gambino you look stunning!" Yasmin said as she pulled me into a hug

"thank you so much" i hugged her back

"hey! where's my hug?" Victoria asked as she extended her arms

"right here" i pulled her in an embrace

"you look amazing! when did you cut it?" she asked

"40 minutes ago"

"Leo has been with Kamal since the morning, he doesnt know does he?" Yasmin smirked

"yeah he doesnt"

"go show him! he will pass out" Amelia said, i laughed and nodded

i searched around the garden for Leo and i finally found him. i run up to him and covered his eyes with my hands.

"guess who it is" i said trying to imitate a guys voice but failing miserably

he chuckled with his deep voice "does it happen to be Mrs. Gambino?"

"yeah she is, how'd you know?" i took my hands off of his eyes

"maybe its because i know my soulmate so much- " he turned around and froze in his place

he blinked a few times and then got out if his trance, he started rubbing his neck nervously as he stared at me.

"are you okay?" i asked completely forgetting how i look like

"yeah everything's fine. you just look gorgeous my queen" he pulled me close to him and kissed my forehead then ran his hand through my hair

"I'm glad you like it" i pecked him on his cheek

"Hey everyone!" Kamal called for us to gather around the present table

"we want to thank you for coming and for your lovely gifts" Yasmin said smiling as Kamal wrapped his arm around her waist

they started opening the presents and they were completely adorable. it was time for Leo and i's gift.

"this is from our daughters god parents, Leonidas and Aurora Gambino" they said and everyone clapped

Yasmin opened the present and gasped the moment she saw it. when i was at the shop in Paris, i saw it and i immediately thought of Yasmin and her baby so i bought it. it was a box with a golden necklace that had the letter 'A' engraved on it and when it opens it has a space for 2 pictured where i placed Kamal and Yasmin's pics.

there's also a little ballerina music box that plays la vie en rose if you turn it on, but it also has a secret gift inside the hidden drawer, it has a key hanging from it and I'm planning on telling Their daughter when she turns 15.

Yasmin ran up to me and hugged me "thank you, this means so much to me. more than all the money and riches. thank you, our daughter will have the best godparents"

"that's not all" Leo chuckled and handed her a box

"this is her side gift, its a 24k golden bracelet with a piece of the Cullinan diamond that is worth 2 billion, the whole diamond of course, but this one is only worth 50 million American dollars" Leo said casually as everyone's eyes widened and their mouths gaped open

"i- i don't even know what to say" Yasmin said as she looked at the gift

"Leonidas and aurora Gambino's goddaughter deserves the best and its even more important that her parents are our brothers and sisters." he hugged Kamal and i hugged Yasmin

"i had no idea he did that, but its a 100% worth it"

"he's made of gold. he chose you over the worlds women" Yasmin smiled "you guys are meant to be. I'm glad I'm your sister"

"I'm glad i met you and imp so honored to be your daughters godmother and your sister"

suddenly i felt an excoriating pain in my abdomen, i screamed in agony. i felt the world spinning around me and i was in so much pain. Leo rushed my way and held me in his arms, chase followed him. i wanted the pain to stop.

"Leo it hurts"

"you will be okay mi amore, were going to take you to the hospital now" Leo carried me and chase rushed to get the car

"what happened to you" Leo asked as we made our way to the parking

"I've been puking since we landed from Paris" i confessed

"principessa why didn't you tell me?" my heart broke in a million pieces from the look in his eyes

"I'm sorry i didn't want to bother anyone"

"your pain is mine, never keep anything from me again principessa, its worse if i cant help you because i don't know what's happening to you. promise me you will tell me everything ?"

"i promise" i nodded softly as we reached the car and he sat me on his lap in the back seat

20 minutes later we reached the hospital. the nurses sat me down on a wheelchair and rushed me to the emergency room. when i got to the room, they laid me down on a bed as i waited for the doctor. Leo and chase were standing beside the bed.

the doctor came in and asked me a few questions and then asked me to do a blood test. he took a blood sample and left the room.

"what do you think is happening to her?" i heard chase ask Leo as i closed my eyes

"i have no clue, but i cant let anything happen to her. i hate seeing her in pain" Leo confessed.

this was the first time he ever expressed his emotions, he didn't even tell his own mother how he feels before.

10 minutes later the doctor came back in the room with the test results because he knew who Leo is and they tested the blood immediately.

"what is it doctor?"

"i have some news for you and I'm not sure whether you want to hear it or not..." the doctor looked conflicted

"just tell us"

"Mrs. Gambino, I'm happy to inform you that you are pregnant. with twins." as the words left the doctors mouth i froze.

Leo was in a shocked state, he slowly looked at me with a soft smile. he then ran up to me and embraced me.

"where going to have kids, were going to have our own family"

i felt my shoulder get wet.

he was crying, but from happiness. he cried on my shoulder as i cried on his.

"I'm so happy Leo. were going to have little kids running around the house, Liam is going to be and uncle and so is chase. his and Alex's kids will have cousins" i wiped the tears

"do you have any idea what gender they may be?" Leo asked and the doctor shook his head

"if one of them is a girl, i want to name her Aurelia. it means golden"

"that's beautiful. if we get a boy i want to name him Marcellus, it means a young warrior." he smiled softly

"he will be just like his father" i caressed Leo's face

"i want them all to be like their mother" i chuckled

"i love you principessa, i am so grateful for you and for our little angels" Leo put his hand on my stomach

"and i love you Leonidas Gambino, my stupido" i ruffled his hair

he pulled my face closer to his and kissed me softly.

this man ignored the other people in the room.

but damn, he's a good kisser.
