Y/ns pov

I slowly open my eyes only to see the sun shining threw my window. I then stand up and yawn as i grab my weapons. But Just as i was about to walk out the door to go tend to the ranch i feel someone hug me from behind.

Blake: good morning baby.

I smile as i turn around to see my wife blake marston standing there. Its been 2 years since we locked team rwby up and so far life has been peaceful. My son jason is growing up and me and the others are living peacefully on a small ranch.

Y/n: ill go cook breakfast

Blake nods and i head into the kitchen. As im cooking i hear jason run into the house. He runs up to me.

Jason: dad there are some men outside. There looking for you and grandpa john and uncle arthur.

My eyes widen as i look outside to see a bunch of atles troops standing there with there guns out.

Y/n: son i need you to listen to me very carefully ok? Take your mother out to the barn and get on a horse. Grandpa john and uncle arthur will be coming with you.

Jason: but what about you?

Y/n: ill be right behind you just do as i say!

Jason nods and quickly runs into the living room to grab blake. I then see arthur and john walk in with there weapons ready.

Arthur: y/n whats going on?!

Y/n: the camp is under attack i need you and the others to evacuate the camp.

John: ok we will do that but what are you gonna do?

Y/n: ill be right behind you just go!

Arthur and john nod as they both run out the door and start gathering up as many people as they can. As for me i grab my weapons and quickly walk out of the house. 2 atles guards run at me and try to stab me. But i quickly use my dead eye and shoot them both. I keep walking only for a group of soldiers to open fire on me. But i duck behind cover just in time.

Y/n: shit!

I quickly open fire on the group killing 2 of them but the other 3 just keep firing. But just then raven runs past them and cuts down the last 3 of the solders.

Raven: y/n are you ok?!

Y/n: im fine but you need to get the hell outta here.

Raven: everyones almost evacuated should we wait for you.

Y/n: no the solders aren't gonna stop coming someone needs to stay behind.

Raven: ill do it.

Y/n: no your getting outta here.

Raven looks at me before giving me a hug. I sigh as i hug my aunt back. She then changes into a bird and flys off to go help the others. But i dont follow her instead i quickly run over to the barn and hide in it providing cover fire for the members of my gang as they escaped. Finally it was just me left all of my gang has departed. Its just me against atles.

Ironwood: come on out marston its over.

I sigh as i grab my guns and walk out of the stables. I quickly draw my guns and shoot 5 of the atles guards threw there heads. But the other guards open fire on me. The bullets go threw my body making me spit up blood and stagger back. I cough and wheeze as blood runs down my mouth. I look up at ironwood as i drop my revolvers and fall to the ground wheezing for air. As im bleeding out i see dutch walking twords me.

Y/n: dutch....is it....over..

I slowly close my eyes as i take my final breath leaving this world.

Jasons pov

Its been 3 hours since we left the camp. Me and mom have decided to go back there and see if my fathers ok. But when we got there we found out the gruesome truth. My father y/n marston was killed by ironwood and atles.

Blake: no...please god no!

Blake runs over to my father's body and starts rocking him like a baby. But i just stand there in shock. My father is dead.

Jason: dad...i sware ill make them pay.
