As tracy started on her walk home, she couldn't stop thinking about what she had noticed about Jake right before she had left. Right on the left side of his neck had been a small patch of dried blood. During her visit she tried to wipe it away, claiming that he had a bug on his shoulder. The thing that was bothering her was that once the blood had been wiped away she noticed a small hole. One that could have only been made by one thing. A needle. Tracy shivered at the thought, Jake would never know since there was no mirrors in the town of Clifton. They had been banned by the town by the Eagle, who thought they were portals to other universes. Tracy always wondered what she looked like. She knew that she had dark sleek brown hair, and a cinnamon complexion. Other than that she had no idea. Tracy pushed her thought aside and focused on the getting home. She trudged up the worn out path to her home. She opened the door and stepped in. It was 6:30, her father would be at work. Relieved by her timing she went to the kitchen to make herself some supper. Tracy filled a pot with water in the sink.
"So you got chained to your locker again, hun. I thought you were tougher than that..."
Tracy jumped and dropped the pot into the sink.
"Dad!! I thought you were at work!!"
"I'm heading there now, but I figured I'd talk to you about your situation first."
"Well there's nothing else to say." Tracy said, trying to avoid the topic. Tracy's father looked at her.
"I'm disappointed in you." he declared, and he marched out the door. Tracy's hands were shaking, she took a deep breath and counted to six (because ten never seemed to work for her). She shook her head and started to fill the pot again. By the time she was done her supper she was to upset to want to do anything but sleep. Even if sleeping meant dreams.

Tracy woke up sweating. She had that feeling in the back of her head that someone was watching her. She looked around the room but it was covered in shadows. Suddenly she heard a creaking noise. someone had stepped on the creaky floorboard beside her bed. She quickly turned her head towards the sound to see a man, he was all dressed in black, only his eyes were showing. Before she could even let out a scream she felt a cold sweaty hand cover her mouth and nose. She struggled to breath, but the hand just pressed harder. She thought of her father, if she was kidnapped would he try to find her? Tracy started to see black spots clouding her vision, she was struggling to stay conscious. Tracy was on the verge of unconsciousness when the man lifted his hand. Tracy gagged and took a deep breath, only to have a cloth shoved over her mouth and nose. To late did Tracy realized that cloth was drugged. The black spots continued to dance in front of her eyes. The spots grew bigger and bigger until her world became a black curtain of nothingness. ______________________________________________________

Tracy heard two voices. She decided to act like she was still unconscious. "Are you sure?""Of course, she's the last one.""Whats her name?""What does it matter?!"" I'm just curious!""Tracy, Tracy Sparrow."" So I guess its time, better get rid of these two while we still can."Tracy couldn't help it any more, her eyes snapped open. She was in a room with two cots, it looked like a hospital crossed with a laboratory. Next to her on the second cot was a boy, he had dirty blond hair and brilliant green eyes. Tracy's heart thumped, why did she have to meet a good looking boy right before she died? Next thing she knew an over sized needle plunged into her neck. Tracy screamed as loud as humanly possible, next thing she knew she was being plunged back into darkness.

Tracy woke up out of breath and sweating. She shivered at the thought of her latest dream. It couldn't have been a coincidence that her and Jake had had such similar dreams. Tracy got dressed and glanced at the hall clock, 8:30. "Oh my gosh! Tracy you're so stupid!" She screamed at herself. She had ten minutes to get to school. Tracy's feet pounded the ground, and she sprinted with all she had in her. She arrived just in time and took her seat in class. Her stomach grumbled. It was just then then she realized she hadn't eaten anything. "Good morning class," said Mrs.Crumplebottom "I'd like to introduce our newest student. This is Alex."Tracy glanced up, her stomach lurched, suddenly she was glad she hadn't eaten breakfast. Alex had dark blond hair, beautiful green eyes, and handsome features. It was none other then the boy from her dream the night before.
