It was honestly an unusual thing to go down with Kenny and all, though I brushed it off so I can focus more on the evening I have now with Ethan. We've got quite the amount of daylight before it turns dark. I wanted for us to have a head start to I asked Ethan to drive over a familiar designated location whilst staying at the back for the meantime. He had set the bouquet to the seat beside him, saying that it's appreciated and romantic of me to give. With that, it couldn't be helped to let the tingly feeling in me rush with wholesomeness. "Funny, you wanna go back to that Karaoke bar?" A cheeky smirk reflected at the mirror in front.

"I thought it'd be fun to revisit. I do wanna listen to your dreamy voice singing again," breaking out the confident charm, I winked at him. Thinking about it, after numerous times of being around another, the two of us have grown honestly comfortable. I've become a lot more assertive and positive, no longer meek nor reserved. It feels relieving to feel carefree after so long of repressing my emotions.

Reaching point B upon arriving, we went in and ordered a room as well as some drinks and snacks that would be arriving shortly by a staff worker. Given the key, looking for the appropriate door to enter. Getting in, the same velvet walls and massive display hung on the wall. At the center was a coffee table with mics and the music folder. Parallel to the monitor was a couch long enough for a party if 4. After enclosing ourselves, we settled down on the sofa. Ethan immediately reached over to grab the book containing all the songs. He had his attention to the list. Leaning back on the cushions, our bodies were only a couple of inches away. Boldly, I stared at the corners, opposite to Ethan's direction then raised my arm up that was closer to Ethan. With that, I sneakily rested it down to his shoulder and closed the gap between us, chuckling. He turns his head to check on me and blushes with a laugh before pressing further to my chest, still skimming.

He's so adorable.

"Which one are you looking for?" I asked, peering down at him.

"I was searching for something fun first," he pondered, finger scrolling amongst the categories.

Seconds later, Ethan had found a fitting on and decided to input it. Numbers showed on the screen followed by the title of what seems to be foreign letter characters in which I didn't understand. I tilt my head, wondering what it meant or why Ethan chose this particularly. Soon, acoustic guitars started playing from the speakers as he clears his throat. Giving regards, I listened carefully to his serenade. The entire time, I was so fixated on him while he stuck his eyes on the monitor. His vocals made me want to melt from how smooth they were. Sending shivers from his talent, I just let myself engulfed in his enchantment. The slow melodically rhythm swayed the room. Here, sat together with him wrapped around my arm.

At some point, someone brought in our drinks. I got myself a glass of diet soda while Ethan had a cup of iced cherry juice. Taking turns, we would pass the mic to the other while the other watches. To be fair, after the first time here, I wasn't doing as bad as I thought now. Enjoying, I sang my heart out and he would applaud me every time even if I messed up.

It really had been a while since I've was so happy.

Time passes faster than I thought when I checked the time of my phone. Eventually, we had to pack up and leave. Making our way to the exit, I sped up in order to open it for him. "Thanks" he gleams as he passes. Both of us were rather still hungry so we wanted to look around to eat later. Seeing the front seat is free, I wanted to take it and ride along beside Ethan. As he gets behind the wheel, I took my place at the front too. But when I settled down, my feet nudged something solid at the bottom. Curious, I felt around beneath the chair, fingers brush over a smooth object. Pulling it out, I raised a rather heavy book, only to realize it was the one Kenny had taken from Kyle. "Oh no, did he forget it?" Ethan said worriedly.

Staring at it, the cover is about: chemicals, medicine, drugs, treatment, and other stuff. It would make sense since Kenny's major deals with those.

"Ah, I can take it to his place tomorrow or during work. Just place it the back," he motions. Doing so, I did what I was told and lightly tossed it. And so, we searched around for a place to have a light dinner.

Minutes, we couldn't find a nearby restaurant to stay at. But then, Ethan came up with an idea, "what do you think of eating at my workplace?" he mentioned.

Ironically, what a full circle thought. It's not a bad plan, so I agreed with no hesitation, "sounds great! Well, even though you won't be the one cooking, I'm sure it's nice," I chuckled.

With things sorted out, we began driving over to his restaurant cafe. With the city lights starting to glow, the citizens walking down the street, the sparkly headlights of other vehicles, and the waving trees, tonight surely is romantic.
