"Should we really do it?"

"Why not?"

"I'm high as shit so I'm down."

"Shut up. We're all high no need to alert the masses."

I busted out laughing. Who said that? Me?

After the party was over grace, a girl named Ali,  and three boys that I don't know decided to go to the old train track. Actually, it was still used on occasion so it wasn't old it just looked that way. The track was on a bridge that ran across the river.

"Let's jump."

I giggled and held Ali's hand. One of the boys grabbed my other hand and once we made sure everyone was holding onto each other we jumped.

Hitting the water felt like hitting a brick. The water splashing onto my face felt like getting slapped a hundred times.

"Whew!"

"That was fun."

"Do we have everybody?"

"Everybody here?"

We all looked around making sure the six of us were still here. Was there six of us in the beginning? I had no idea how many people were with us.

"So Beth. What's your story?"

"What do you mean?" I turned to face the guy. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. He had a few tattoos which reminded me of someone I just couldn't remember who.

I had a feeling he had been important to me but I was too drunk to remember my own name.

"Who's your ideal man?"

I laughed at his question. How cliche.

"I'm highly attracted to guys who act like assholes."

He started laughing.

"I'm perfect for you then."

He leaned over and kissed me. It wasn't as bad as whatever his name was but I didn't really feel anything.

"Hey lovebirds! We're going to the diner to get something to eat."

Food sounded perfect actually.

I was freezing so Holden gave me his shirt. It meant that he would be going to the diner with no shirt on, but that was pretty normal at three in the morning.

Holden grabbed my hand and led me to a booth where we all piled in.

"Um Beth? Don't look at the counter." Grace whispered. Well she tried to at least she ended up yelling it pretty loudly.

I looked towards the counter and saw three guys looking at me.

"Of those are the two assholes from school." I laughed. I couldn't get a good look at that the third guy.

Adam and Allen were standing at the counter looking ready to kill. If Holden hadn't been holding my hand I would have confronted them about it.

"Um Beth. Your boyfriend is here."

Does grace not know how to whisper.

"Relax Gracie. I don't have a man."

Did I not know how to whisper?

"What about me?" Holden asked squeezing my hand.

"Relax man it was just a kiss."

"Shut it Beth!" Grace leaned across the table and pulled Holden's hand away from mine.

I didn't understand what her problem was. The third guy at the counter seemed familiar but I didn't know from where. I knew I didn't have a boyfriend though because if I did I wouldn't have been at the party by myself or kissed so many guys.

I'm such a whore

"Come on Beth. Time to go home."

What? Did I black out? The last thing I remembered was being at the diner. Now, Holden was carrying me out of the car to my door.

"I'm good now. Thanks bro." I slurred.

"Are you sure?"

I nodded my head and fell promptly into the tree beside my porch. I should really move that.

"Come on." He laughed pulling me up. I handed him my key and he carried me up to my bedroom and climbed into bed with me.

Most parents probably would been upset seeing some strange boy go into their daughters room at five in the morning. My dad was not like most parents though. My dad looked proud to see me come home drunk. A chip off the block.

The next morning I woke up snuggled next to Holden.

Shit

I didn't remember much about what happened last night but now I could remember being with Holden and seeing Colton at the diner.

All I wanted was to forget about him last night and I managed to do so. Seeing him sober might have broken my heart. Instead I had no idea who that guy was.

I managed to make my way downstairs after I put my messy hair in a bun and put on some sunglasses.

"That's my girl."

Yeah he's proud of me for once

"This will make you feel better."

He handed me a coffee mug filled with something that looked like coke.

I took a sip. Whiskey of course.

I glared at my dad.

He put up his hands in mock surrender. "Just trust me."

I decided to take the advice of a seasoned alcoholic and drowned the drink.

In a surprising turn of events my dad poured another cup for me and one for himself. We ended up getting drunk at ten in the morning talking as though we had been best friends forever.

"I have to get to work. Can you kick that guy out whenever he wakes up?"

My dad gave me a thumbs up in response and I made my way down to the last place I wanted to be at. The diner. At least I didn't know anyone who had been working then.

"Hey Beth right?"

I looked up from the hostess stand and saw Ali standing in front of me. After dealing with too many perverts my manager made me the hostess and took me off waiter duty.

"It's actually cashmere. I just tell random guys my name is Beth so they don't try to find me."

"That's actually a great idea. When do you get off?"

"Whenever I want to." I laughed.

Working at the same place for years had it perks. The main one being that I could come in and leave whenever I felt like. It was also because the managers were idiots and couldn't manage a schedule.

"There's another party tonight. You wanna get drunk?"

"I already am. What time?"

"It starts at ten, but I'll be there around twelve."

"See you then."

Then she turned around and left. Did she come in here just to invite me to a party?

****Coltons's pov*****

"That girl was fucking sexy."

"Shut up." I growled.

"She's not with you. Why do you even care?"

I glared at Jason. He might be a pretty good dealer of mine, but he was really pushing the limit talking about cashmere like that.

"She's my girl. I said don't talk about her like that so you better not fucking talk about her like that." I yelled.

"Like she's fucking some other guy right now?" He raised his eyebrows at me.

I glanced around. Thanks to yours truly this town was dead. Seeing Cashmere holding hands with that guy made me want to strangle him. It felt like a knife through the chest, but there wasn't much I could do. I was the one who left. The one who ignored her. Someday I would explain, but if I found out Cashmere did anything else with that guy he was a dead man.

"Jason, I'm warning you. I really don't want to kill you."

"Would you rather see her with me or that little boy?" He grinned at me.

I pulled my gun out of the waistband of my jeans and shot him right in his smiling mouth.

"What now boss?"

I tucked my gun back into my jeans and turned around.

"I'm going to get my girl of course."
