Act 3

Scene 1

They have been running in these plain tan walls for about twenty minutes. Sam catches up to Derek and is now ahead of him. They have avoided or injected every government man ,with the needles, they have seen on their way out of the basement. Sam starts to turn a corner but stops in his tracks and backs up.

Government Man Enters

Derek: (whispers) What’s up?

Sam: (whispers) One guy around the corner; covering the doors to upstairs.

The government man is on his phone guarding the doors to go upstairs. Sam and Derek walk towards the man. He doesn’t notice at first but starts to look up. That’s when Sam grabs Derek and throws him across the room.

Derek: (holds in a muffled scream)

Derek falls right on top of the man. Derek grabs the man’s face and looks him deep in the eyes.

Derek: Listen to me! You’re going to let us go upstairs but before that you’re going to tell us where Cleo is.

Sam starts to get nervous. He will finally get see his sister again. She wasn’t in real good shape when they got separated. He hopes that she will be fine.

Government man: Okay, um, who’s Cleo?

Derek: (squishes the man’s face) The telekinesis girl!

Government man: (looks more confused) Huh?

Sam: Ugh! (throws his hands in disbelief)

Derek: You know the girl who can move thingies with her mind? (pokes the man in the forehead)

Government man: Oh, she’s in room A109.

Sam: (sarcastically) Thanks.

Derek: (stands up and dusts himself off) Now, you’re going to completely forget about this little scene. You never saw us and you’re going to keep standing here guarding the door, okay?

Government man: (stands up) Yes.

Sam and Derek Exit
