Five years. It feels like both a lifetime and the blink of an eye.

In those five years, I've done what most could never imagine. The dimension, which had once felt overwhelming and vast, is now mine. I have explored its every corner, mapped out its treasures, and mastered the many arts and abilities within it. The mansion, with its ancient architecture and hidden rooms, became my refuge. I could no longer think of it as a mere building—it was my fortress, my home, and my sanctuary. But it was also my training ground, the place where I forged myself into something far beyond the person I once was.

There was so much to learn, so much to absorb. The martial art technique I had uncovered in those ancient scrolls became my obsession. I poured every waking moment into mastering its forms and understanding its intricacies. This martial art wasn't just about brute strength or speed; it was about harnessing the elements, blending magic and combat in a way that made the user truly unstoppable. My air manipulation meshed perfectly with these teachings, allowing me to strike down enemies from a distance or become as elusive as the wind itself.

But it wasn't just my mind and body that grew stronger—my understanding of the dimension itself deepened with time. The pills, the artifacts, the mysterious treasures hidden in this world, each had a purpose, and I learned to wield them all. The cleansing pill had transformed me at my very core, washing away the impurities of my old life. My connection to the mystical energies of this world had sharpened, and with every pill, I felt closer to perfection.

Then there were the
mythical eggs.

I had found them early on, tucked away in the deepest part of the mansion's vault. Large, beautifully engraved eggs that pulsed with dormant power. At first, I wasn't sure what to make of them, but over time, I realized what they were: the last remnants of creatures long thought to be extinct, mythical beasts that no longer roamed the outside world.

One egg in particular stood out to me—a deep violet in color, unlike anything I had ever seen before. There was something ancient and powerful about it, something that made my heart race when I touched its smooth surface. I placed it in a room near the heart of the mansion, hoping to understand it more.

And then, in my second year of seclusion, it happened.

The egg hatched.

I had felt the shift in energy long before it happened. The air in the mansion grew warmer, the ambient energy more intense, and I could sense a change in the egg itself. It pulsed with life, growing stronger and more vibrant until one day, as I was meditating by the pool, I heard it—the cracking sound of something breaking free.

I rushed to the room where I had placed the egg, and when I arrived, I saw it. A magnificent creature, unlike anything I had ever imagined. The creature stood there, newly hatched, surrounded by a faint violet glow. Its feathers were a shimmering purple, radiating with an otherworldly light, and its eyes glowed with an ancient intelligence.

A phoenix. A violet phoenix—a rare and mythical creature that was thought to have been lost to the world centuries ago. In the legends I had read, the violet phoenix was said to have unparalleled regenerative abilities and control over life and death itself. Its flames were said to be able to heal or destroy with equal ease.

But here it was, standing before me, newly born and staring at me with those bright, intelligent eyes.

For a moment, neither of us moved. It was as if we were both sizing each other up, trying to understand what the other was. But then, as if understanding passed between us, the phoenix spread its wings, letting out a soft cry that filled the room with warmth and energy. It wasn't just a beast—it was a creature of pure power and grace.

From that day on, the phoenix stayed by my side. It grew quickly, its wingspan expanding and its violet flames becoming more potent. We bonded in a way I hadn't anticipated, its presence giving me a sense of companionship in my solitude. I named it Azura, after the color of its magnificent feathers.

Azura was more than just a pet or a companion. She was a force of nature, a creature bound by ancient laws of the universe, and yet, somehow, she chose to stay with me. Together, we trained, her flames fueling my powers and my air manipulation enhancing her flight. We became a deadly duo, her flames of rebirth and destruction complementing my creation and control over the air. I could sense that with Azura at my side, I had become something far beyond what I had once been.

But while the mansion was a place of growth and discovery, the world outside still called to me. I spent much of my time gathering information, using my abilities to observe from afar. The world beyond the forest was chaotic—full of factions, martial sects, and warriors fighting for power. Rumors of dragons and magic beasts still floated around, but none of the creatures were like Azura. I kept her hidden, knowing that if anyone discovered what I had, I would become a target.

During those five years, the world moved on. And so did the man from the forest.

The Man's POV

Five years.

I still remember that first encounter like it was yesterday.

Her white hair, her delicate features—there was something about her that had seared itself into my memory. In those brief moments when our eyes met, I had felt a pull, something primal that made me want to know more about her. And then, just like that, she had vanished, leaving me with nothing but questions.

I returned to the forest every year, hoping to find her again. I wasn't sure why—I told myself it was curiosity, but deep down, I knew it was more than that. There was something about her, something that called to me in a way no one else ever had.

In the first year, I searched the forest thoroughly. I walked the same path we had crossed, hoping to catch even a glimpse of her, but there was nothing. The forest was quiet, almost too quiet, as if it had swallowed her whole.

The second year was much the same. I felt her presence lingering in the air, faint but undeniable. She was still there, somewhere, but she didn't show herself. I waited for hours, days even, but to no avail. I couldn't shake the feeling that she was watching me, observing from a distance, but I never saw her.

By the third year, I was beginning to question myself. Was she just a fleeting memory? A figment of my imagination? I didn't believe so, but doubt had started to creep in. I kept returning, though—drawn by that same inexplicable pull.

The fourth year came, and I was more determined than ever. I had decided to give up on my search after this one final attempt. I spent days in the forest, tracing every step, every possible hiding spot. But she was gone. I could no longer feel her presence, as if she had truly disappeared this time. It was frustrating, maddening even. I had never pursued anyone like this, never cared enough to. But she... she was different.

And so, I gave up.

I told myself it was for the best. I had other responsibilities, after all. I was someone of great standing in the martial world, and my position required focus and discipline. I couldn't afford to waste any more time chasing ghosts. So, I let her go. I stopped searching, stopped looking for her in every face I passed, and tried to move on.

But even now, years later, I still think about her.

What became of her? Where did she go? And why did she leave such a deep impression on me after only a single encounter?

I don't know. But something tells me that our paths will cross again. This world is vast, but fate has a way of bringing people back together when they're meant to be.

And when that day comes, I will be ready.

Alura's POV

Five years have passed, and I am no longer the same woman I once was. I've grown, learned, and mastered powers that even I didn't know existed. Azura, my violet phoenix, has become my constant companion, and the mansion—my fortress of secrets—is now truly my home.

But I can't stay hidden forever.

The world outside calls to me. I can feel it pulling at the edges of my consciousness, the faint whispers of destiny urging me to step out of the shadows. I've gathered all the information I need. I know who the major players are, the factions vying for power, and the dangers that await me.

And now, I'm ready.

I've prepared for this moment for five long years, and now, it's time to leave my sanctuary behind. The world outside doesn't know it yet, but I'm coming. And with Azura by my side, there is nothing that can stop me.
