The final month of Avneet's pregnancy had arrived, and the anticipation in the household was palpable. Shubman, ever the doting husband, had cleared his schedule to be by her side, a decision that filled Avneet with immense gratitude. Their mornings were spent in the cozy embrace of their living room, savoring the quiet before the storm of new parenthood.

One such morning, as the sun streamed through the windows, Avneet's calm was shattered by a sharp pain. "Ouch! Maan, it's paining," she gasped, her hand instinctively cradling her swollen belly.

Shubman was at her side in an instant, his concern etched across his face. "Maan, I think my water broke," Avneet said, her voice laced with both fear and excitement. Understanding the urgency, Shubman helped her up, secured the house, and they made their way to the hospital, where Avneet was swiftly admitted.

The waiting room soon filled with anxious family members, all eyes on Shubman, who paced the floor, his nerves frayed. The doctors remained tight-lipped, adding to the tension that hung heavy in the air.

Then, at precisely noon on May 8th, the unmistakable sound of a newborn's cries pierced the silence. The doctor emerged with a smile, "Congratulations, Mr. Gill, it's a girl." Shubman's heart leapt. "How is Avneet?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Both the baby and the mother are safe," the doctor reassured him. With a nod, Shubman entered the room to find Avneet, weary but radiant, cradling their daughter. "She's so beautiful," he breathed, his eyes meeting Avneet's.

"She's the perfect blend of us," Avneet replied, a tear of joy rolling down her cheek. "She has your brown eyes." "And she has your hair," Shubman added, his pride swelling.

A chuckle escaped Avneet as Shubman gently lifted his daughter into his arms. The baby snuggled against him, as if recognizing the heartbeat of her father. "Our angel knows who you are," Avneet said, her voice filled with wonder.

Shubman responded with a tender kiss on the baby's forehead. "We should tell your fans about our blessing," Avneet suggested. Shubman agreed, "Yes, after the naming ceremony."

The family gathered, each member eager to meet the newest addition. "What will you name her?" Shahneel inquired. "Akshara Shubman Gill," Shubman announced, a name that elicited a collective gasp of admiration.

The family shared a beautiful day, filled with laughter and love. Shubman captured a moment, the baby's face hidden, and shared it with the world on Instagram.

With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love we are pleased to inform everyone that on 8th May, we welcomed our baby girl Akshara/अक्षरा into this world. We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time of our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time.
Love and Gratitude,
Shubman and Avneet.

Later, as Akshara babbled contentedly, Shubman scooped her up, drawing a playful protest from Avneet. "Hey, it was mumma and Akshu time." "Rest now, baby. Then Akshu is all yours," Shubman assured her, his voice soft.

The following day revealed Akshara's spirited nature; her cries filled the room, and Shubman was her constant comfort, his eyes red from sleepless nights, his arms marked by the weight of his love.

One afternoon, Avneet awoke to find both father and daughter asleep, seeking respite from Mumbai's humidity. But peace was short-lived; Akshara's cries roused Shubman, who, without a second thought, attended to her needs, ignoring the persistent ring of his phone.

Three days later, the family returned home. Shubman, weary to his bones, donned sunglasses to shield his bloodshot eyes from the night. Once home, he collapsed into bed, succumbing to exhaustion.

Avneet watched over them both, her heart full. She tended to Akshara, ensuring her cries wouldn't disturb Shubman's much-needed rest. And when the night deepened, and silence enveloped the house, she brought Akshara back to their room, placing her gently between them. Together, the family of three drifted into a peaceful slumber, their journey just beginning.
