i could see edd in his room. he looked pretty emotionless.

he was drawing something, with a light pink pencil.

i opened my window, so i could see him better.

he seemed to notice, and folded the paper into an airplane and threw it.

i quickly grabbed it.

i unfolded the light blue peice of paper with clouds on it.

it was a drawing of me. it was really cute.

underneath it where the words 'im sorry'.

i looked at edd, he was lying on his desk, rocking back and forth.

i opened the little box on my table, and took out a peice of paper with roses in the corners. it was a poem i wrote for him a while ago.

i folded it into an airplane, and threw it.

edd grabbed it, and read it.

i could see how fast his face lit up, and he grinned.

he dissapeared for a minute or two, and returned with candy.

"hey, rosebud! come over!" edd called, opening the window.

i smiled. "sure, cloudboy. im coming."

i quickly tied my shoes, and climbed over from my room to his.

i forgot how much i loved his room.

i looked up at his bed, and i saw my poem framed.

"you didn't have to." i said.

"but i did." edd said, wrapping his arms around me and putting his head on my shoulder.

i kissed edd on the neck, eyeing his face.

he was.. crying?

"why are you crying? did i do something wrong?" i asked,  clutching his hand.

"i'm fine. i was just worried. tord said he saw you cutting yourself."

"i wasnt. i must've opened the bruise." i said,  you know, like a liar.

edd embraced me tighter, kissing my shoulder.

"please stay alive. for me." he said, squishing me.

"i promise."
