Hannah paced the hallway, checking her watch again.
"Would you relax?" Stephanie shifted in her seat beside the door. "You're making me nervous."
Hannah sighed. "I'm sorry."
Stephanie smiled and uncrossed her arms, "The date of the supposed attack has come and gone. Most likely, Evelyn decided to scrap her plans and move on to something else."
Hannah rolled her eyes, staring at her friend. "You don't know my mother. If she decides on something, she's going to follow through. Plus she was still looking for the USB device just last week. Why would she want it if she was just going to forget about everything?"
Stephanie shrugged. "Ok then, she's still going to attack the prison. I don't see what the big deal is anyway." She leaned in and lowered her voice. "How do we know the prisoners in here are actually terrorists, and not just people who know... you know?"
Hannah glanced at the cameras on the walls and smiled, whispering through gritted teeth. "Would you mind keeping those thoughts to yourself? The walls have ears." Stephanie shrugged and got up, starting for the exit. "Those cameras don't have an audio hook up anyway. Come on, it's time for the perimeter patrol."

Hannah sighed and walked with Stephanie outside in silence as they checked for intruders.
"I know Zeke couldn't make it to Ian's funeral, but what did his people say about it?" Stephanie asked quietly. "Noel said casualties are a part of war, and the battle with CGT is a war. Zeke didn't say it quite like that, but that was the gist." Hannah balled up her hands by her side, taking in a few breaths. Stephanie walked silently beside her for a moment. "How is it with him finally home?" she asked. Hannah stopped and smiled. "Nice."
She sighed. "We have a ways to go still before things get back to where they were, but we're not going to be killing each other in the foreseeable future, if that's what you're asking."
Stephanie rolled her eyes. "Who said anything about killing each other? I just wanted to know how things were in," she paused and raised her eyebrows, "other departments."
Hannah chuckled and shook her head. "I think you should mind your own-"
Hannah stopped short and peered over Stephanie's shoulder. Both agents watched the man that Hannah had spotted as he crossed the road towards them. "Isn't that?"
Hannah ignored Stephanie's question and began sprinting forward. "Yes, call for backup!"
Stephanie trailed behind her as they chased after Evelyn's man. Hannah's gun was out of her holster, and she tried to move as swiftly as possible with it by her side as she ran. She couldn't risk shooting him; he was their only lead to Evelyn. As she ducked behind a car, Hannah poked her head up and watched the man entering an alley across the road.
She turned to Stephanie, now beside her and her own gun in hand. Hannah motioned towards the alley, and Stephanie checked it, then nodded. Hannah stood and moved past the car, gun raised. As she grew closer, something pricked her neck and she reached up for the spot. Her steps grew slower, as she fought the feeling of swimming and a haze which crossed over her eyes. Before she could get any further, the world slowly closed around her and the familiar darkened drugged state took hold.
